this chapter is set before the kidnapping and
thyme finding out that prae and ren are a thing)

should she just reach for it or wait for him to do it?

how does this work? why is this making her brain go all anxious?

she's done this before too, it's not like she's never done this. why is this awkward?

hell, she's held kavin's hand, thyme's hand, MJ's hand, hell, even ren's! why is it getting so awkward for her to hold ren's hand now that they've established a romantic relationship?

she should just reach for his hand and hold it. right?

but praepailin doesn't do relationships, well.. she's never been in one before. excluding her imaginary relationship with newwie thitipoom. praepailin might be the smartest one in the friend group, but she was the least experienced in relationships. (okay, maybe she has thyme beat, he's least experienced, also oblivious.)

praepailin is afraid. not for the first time. that would be a lie if she stated that she was afraid for the first time, considering the girl is a freak out machine. she freaks out over the mildest details, of course being in a relationship for the first time in her life would be scary. terrifying really.

she has pined (only if she knew it was mutually pined) over this tall, soon to be doctor, artist fella for years now. she had zero intentions to make her feeling know, she even considered dying without getting that off her chest. but now, praepailin actually has a chance. a chance to be happy, and make ren happy.

who doesn't like a happy ren and happy prae together?

but she doesn't know how.

asking someone is too embarrassing. especially asking kavin or MJ. maybe she can ask andrew. thyme is out of the question as he embarrasses himself enough in front of gorya, he will be no help to her, plus with all the secret relationship crap, she can't tell the boy anything either.

but maybe ren was a psychic, or someone who does dark magic in his free time, because he read praepailin's mind like his own and interlaced their fingers together.

it is safe to say praepailin has melted. like ice cream. most likely like coffee ice cream.(considering, it was ren's favourite flavour.)

if praepailin wasn't desperate for advice she would have hit andrew with her shoe. "can you say something useful and i buy you kfc and we call it even."

"extra fries?" he asked.

praepailin huffed, "extra fries."

well, andrew wasn't going to give out free advice like knowledge mansplainers do, so he made praepailin buy him the promised meal first before getting into;

how to work relationships?

"listen now and listen carefully okay?" he stated.

praepailin nodded. 

"all you have to do is--"

"am i supposed to treat her nicely now? how does this work? am i nice to her now?" ren rambled.

"why would you do that? isn't that how your whole relationship is sorta established?" ren could hear mira chuckling on the phone.

"but isn't that not how a faen is supposed to treat their significant other? why is this difficult? it's so complicated."

mira sat down more comfortably knowing ren would be consuming a lot more of her time. "i think you're making it difficult for yourself, because you want it to work. this isn't some random person, she's your person, both of you know that very well, i know already. which is why you want everything to go smoothly."

ren agreed, but questions still lingered around, "but what do i do to stop overthinking this?" he asked.

"be normal."

"and that'll work?" he asked.

"like a charm."

renrawin aira was a mystery to everyone. but not to praepailin. she could read him like an open notebook just like how he could.

every expression, every quirk, every mood, you name it, they knew it.

so the pair knew their initial confusion with their fairly new relationship. how it worked, and how it was supposedly different from their regular friendship.

well after some advice, it made them realise, ren messing praepailin's hair, praepailin jokingly kicking or punching ren. or then verbally cussing each other, was how it worked, and how it was supposed to work.

now,  it doesn't feel all that different, they joked around the same, bullied each other the same, called each other for their idiotic-ness? the same way. okay maybe there was one thing that was different, the occasional make outs was something they didn't do before. (not that they minded.)

what they were confused about was how they were to act with one another. they had seen MJ or kavin when they had girlfriends, the way they acted around them, it was completely different from the way they acted around anyone one f4.

but, what the pair hadn't realised yet was, they were always like that with one another, there was a form of fondness every time they looked at each other, talked to one another, or even talked about the other person.

they were simply domestically ren and prae.
(or is it pren? or prenrawin? okay im shit at coming up w ship names. suggestions??)

"are we doing a traditional rewatch or do we just skip and watch the parts and episodes we want?" praepailin asked as she began turned ren's tv on.

"god knows now long it would take if we rewatched properly, let's stick to skipping, what is even traditional about us anyways?" ren grinned.

praepailin smiled back nodding, "i feel like they should've done the last season better though, it was so rushed, i feel."

"skip the last season?." ren stated making praepailin nod. "yes."

"good." ren laughed as she pressed play.

im sorry if this chapter is shit
i tried (:(

i realised the 10th chapter of the book
was just me ranting about the last episode
and nothing else, so i unpublished it and 
rewrote it, as i also had another realisation
that i completely skipped out on the starting
stage of their relationship altogether
lol.
