Turning in my bed I placed the pillow on my face and scream

Smiling then seeing his serious face it went as quickly as it came. Waiting patiently like a guilty child I twirl my fingers looking down

After 1 minute and 25 seconds yes I'm counting he walked towards the stairs to my room

Sighing I took up my bowl n made my way to my room slowly taking baby steps cause I know exactly what this is about

Putting a strawberry slice in my mouth I turn to face the door

Mia hasn't been answering my calls for a week now I've tried texting her but nothing it's on one tick about 1000 messages I've sent more than a 100 times I called

I have been worried sick she hasn't been to school she's lucky it's revision time for exam even her parents couldn't get a hold of her they kept calling me asking about her.

I was so busy I couldn't find the time to come check on her until today. I thought something bad had happened to her just for me to come to see her eating fruits smiling like everything is fine

She's so lucky I love her or i would have strangled her I swear

It's been a minute standing at this door haven't found the courage to go inside

"Mia" oh jeez

Dipping my hand in my bowl feeling that it was empty wait how...but...

Sighing I opened the door slowly stepping in

Putting the bowl on the dresser I stood there with my head hanging down

Only one word but such aggression and force behind it

Sitting beside him I kept my head down twiddling my thumbs distracting myself from the angry person beside me

Sighing I started "I'm sorry I know I've been distant and I haven't been the best friend or the easiest person to reach it's because I had something happened that made me turn my phone off I know you and others have been worried because nobody could reach me but I needed the time to better myself and the situation I promise it will never happen again so please don't lecture me," I say keeping my head down

After 2 minutes of silence I wish he would say something

Feeling a weight lift off the bed I know he got up feeling a hard slap to my head with something

It got more frequent and hotter realizing he was hitting me with the pillow I placed my hand up to protect my head

After a minute it stopped

Removing my hands I lookup to see him smiling What a fucka evil. Feeling my head pounding I started crying

I cried harder

Seeing his smile drop and place with a concern expression he came over to me

"Don't cry yer hush," he says in the most annoying tone ever

I started crying even harder than before. Getting serious he hugged me kissing my forehead

"I'm sorry ma, I just wanted to let you feel how I felt when you ignored my messages and calls,"

Sniffling I looked up smiling

"No you did a bawl weh di tears deh aye yuh wicked eno," he says pushing me away laughing

Laughing along with him I smiled after a while

"I'm really sorry though I didn't mean to make you upset"

Oh shit the parentals damn forgot about them shit dad is gonna kill me especially mom I'm so dead

Turning my phone on seeing the apple logo waiting patiently for it to turn on while mari went to the kitchen and brought back a glass of orange juice for me and was sipping something whatever that is in that glass

Deciding to post a status ignoring the messages

After posting it getting even more messages in a minute I came off Whatsapp going into call log pressing on *First Lady ❤️*

Putting it to my ear while mari watched from the door frame

Feeling guilty I stayed quiet while she expressed how she felt

Feeling tears I sniffled after a second she got quiet and I started "I'm sorry I was going through something so I turned my phone off to get a peace of mind I didn't think about anything else but getting away from the outside world I didn't think much of the consequences of my action I will never do it again I promise I'm sorry," I finished through tears

Feeling a hand around me I looked up to see mari wiping away my tears with his other hand

"I'm sorry too I shouldn't have exploded like that. I am really sorry mia it's just that you had me worried. I did hear from you for weeks and I had to be calling shamario to get an update from him just for him to tell me he hasn't heard from you too," she says sighing

After taking a shower I took my phone off the charger and sat on my bed beside mari who was watching Netflix Nikita

He's on season 2 episode 22(crossbow), when Percy threatens a nuclear explosion and nikita realize that the only way to defeat him was to go into division itself
