3rd selection dinning hall as each individual beside the top six sat around the tables getting ready to eat their dinner.

"Hey Igaguri did you really got one of everything?" Rachi ask while eating which Igaguri replied he is as it is the only night they can eat all they want.

As the previous Team Z sat around the table eating.

As they talk about their teammates that haven't able to make it.

"It's a shame Namamura, didn't make it" -Gagamaru.

"Yeah like, Kuon the traitor, Immamura the womanizer, Iemon the goalie" as Rachi list down.

"And Kunigami.." Isagi mutter as it went silent as they didn't really expected.

"To be honest I didn't really thought he would fail at all... He is strong" Bachira said while chewing his food and swallow it, "especially over the fact I thought Y/n-chan will choose Kunigami over..." Bachira eyes flick to Reo who is sitting along with Zantetsu and the others like Nanase, Kurona and Kiyora. Well Zantetsu brought along Kiyora while Nanase and Kurona are already well known with Reo as team so.

"..." Silence felt over as Bachira was in doubt as he knows or probably his gut feeling that you would have choose Kunigami. Well most of them thought to.

"Feh. Perhaps Kunigami friend was just..." Bachira half glare stopped Rachi to commend any bad thing about you.

"This is how it is in Blue Lock"

"Chigiri" Isagi mutter as he glance at the long hair male who finally decide to speak.

"Most importantly this whole place is toast if we can't defeat U-20 so none have the leisure to worry about others." Chigiri added as his chopsticks pick up the brocolli and stare at it then at them.

"Besides, It is their problem we can't just pint point the two. Kunigami and Aida friendship. We barely knows so its better not to pint point others"

"..." Isagi was in silence as he recall how you look at him with annoyance. And tone of slight anger.

"I know him more then you Isagi... Or are you Implying I should have given up the match so I could be with them?" Your words meant much more and he understood it too. This is Blue Lock. Everyone strive to be a striker.

His hand clench his chopstick with a slight frown present on his lips. And the earlier where Ryouzen came.

He couldn't shake the feeling... That string and... How Ryouzen glare at him.

The black string familiar to yours... Nah it can't be you. Why would you hide your identity like that? But again he barely have a stratch about your life.

"Isagi?"

His focus went to Bachira who raise an eyebrow as the others stare at him. "Huh?" He mutter as they glance at each other them at him.

"You spaced out?"

"Ah sorry" Isagi awkwardly chuckle as Bachira just smile.

"Either way, I am thinking of picking one randomly, and maybe even Play with Y/n-chan! Since I got to play two matches. Maybe I should play one with him. The other against him!" Bachira hype up as they seems slightly alarm.

"That so...?  Still it's so weird you're the highest ranking out of our Team Z, Kinda Pisses me off" Rachi add as Bachira just smile.

"Hmm?" Bachira glance at Chigiri who kept down his chopstick on the empty bowl. "What is it?"

"Have you ever played with or against Aida?"

"Hmm? I didnt in official matches but one day he came to me. I learn he was a transfer student during my second year middle school to teach him how to dribble"

"He ask you that? Heh he must not be good at it" Igarashi add while pat his balloon up stomach. Which Bachira smile stiffen as it turn to a slight frown.

"Y/n-chan is fast learner"

"Hmm? What's that suppose to mean?" Isagi ask curious as its been such a long time after Elementary school that he last saw you play.

"Y/n-cham well how will I say" as Bachira keep his point finger on his forehead with squinted eyeclosed expression then quickly smile like an lightbulb appear above his head.

"It is like if once or twice you played against him you just want to continue playing more and more!"

"What's that suppose to mean? What is he a drug." Rachi add with a tick mark.

As an imagery bottle of wine with your face eyes and mouth pasted on it float in their minds. Which make them giggle.

Bachira look distant then look at them with a widen smile and for some reason that make them much more feel tension as if Bachira is going to reveal his inner schizophrenia mentality to them.- I mean inner demons.

"Y/n-chan may seems like he is not in spotlight but he is. When you look away from him even once he will haunt you"

"What is he a ghost?" Igarashi add making Bachira pout.

"Agh! You don't get it do you lime he- uh!"

"Hmmm... What Bachira may be saying is Aida can be quiet troublesome if you ignore him on field?" Chigiri ask as silence felt over.

"Like how does he play?" Isagi add as Bachira eyes lit up.

"Y/n-chan is sometimes goes like woosh! And reach the place where the ball is going to score as if he predict the future or maybe he is just too fast"

'Predict future?/ he is fast?' Both Isagi and Chigiri was in thought with squint eyebrow.

"That's creepy if he can read future. Like a cheat code! Not fair!" Igarashi add which Rachi told him to shut up.

"He didn't really played during first selection" Gagamaru add as they all nod and glance at the current Team V left over players which Reo took notice but advert his eyes back to his tray of food.

"That make it more difficult since we don't know much about him. Hey Igarashi weren't you marking on him?" Rachi add as Igarashi shiver by that mention.

"Ah! That guy literally piss me off! He literally block me and make me trip on my own foot! He was not chasing after the ball but was targeting me!"

"Hmm..."

"And the fact he is in top 3" Chigiri add as they all nod with a silent thought while Bachira happily was eating his food happy you are been praised in the friend group.

But for them it creates more doubt as they are particularly curious of you. Don't get them wrong they do curious of others but you were literally hiding more then the others. Especially the team V you came out top 3?.

"And don't forget he score the last goal against those five!" Bachira adding their tension. With bright smile.

"Aida-san really have a lot he hide huh?" Isagi said with a stiff smile as Rachi ruffle his hair in annoyance.

"What's with that guy! I cannot deal with this! I am not going to choose that team!" Rachi said with fold arms.

"I wonder how he plays against the other teams..." Chigiri add as Isagi nod about to look around to even ask someone from their block teams.

"Aida-senpai have is very good at defence" another voice add alarming the team Z table who notice Niko who hold his tray of food as they urshered him to take a seat. Well Rachi just push Igarashi seat who was offended when he said "you aren't needed"

"What do you mean Niko?"

"Well while we play against team V. We couldn't score even once..." Niko add while eating his food while they recall how Team V overthrown them off.

"He knows how to play trick on your eyes... You should be careful Isagi if you decide other team" Niko add as Isagi eyes widen slightly.

"W-what do you mean?"

"Heh? That guy is defence? I will just burst past him!" Rachi add with a proud smirk.

Niko glance at him? Then at his food eating. "Going past Aida-senpai defence is difficult. While I was... Trying to form of a plan against them... He literally wreck my vision."

"Huh?"

"Not in physical way but... He is the most annoying thing you will ever face if... He is on defence especially... With our vision"

"..." Isagi went silent as Niko left after finishing his food like light speed leaving them in quiet trance.

"The fuck? Well whatever what comes come! I don't care!" Rachi left with Igarashi and Gagamaru.

"Hmm... That's a strange way to add" Bachira just mumble still eating since he was talking and forgot to eat in between making him the last to eat.

"What is your perception about him?" Isagi add, "Kunigami says he is good at anaylising and Niko said he is good at defence"

"Hmm? Well all I will say is. He is a far quick learner"

"Ah I see...I shall get going to freshen up" Isagi left as in doubt while Chigiri eyes bored at Bachira who finishes at last portion of his food as the dinning hall was empty by now beside them.

"You said it earlier, what exactly you meant?" Chigiri add suspiciously as Bachira smile widens.

"Hmm? What do you want me to say exactly? He is a fast learner. And is a fast learner what more to add.?" He tilt his head as Chigiri eyes narrowed.

"How quick does he learn...?"

"Last time he learn my moment it only took him a day or two"

"But now I am not sure either how much he improve. My demon always tremble whenever we are against him. In practice matches."

"But when you played with him Chigirin! It is so wonderful feeling! He... He truly knows how to make things... Much addicting!"

The words stayed in Chigiri mind as Bachira walk on his way to leave but stop momentarily.

"Also! Chigirin!"

Chigiri glance up at Bachira who had a bright smile. "This will be truly the first time that it won't be one on one against him!" And he left leaving Chigiri in his thoughts. As he recollect the past words. Something about you from hearing from them make him create an image in his head about you.

Like how Kunigami mention you as someone who support in game well, as the captain you were calm, collective and knows what do to in quick thinking. (He doesn't know about the fact You quit Soccer team after winning semi finals). Or the fact how you single handedly handle the game as your own. Making the other team lose their will to even play.

Well in Reo perspective was your personality. Kunigami and Reo perspective was similar as they both mention you as calm and collected and often keep a polite smile. Over the fact you even handle Nagi well to even complice to move from his bed to train if you said so. Well Reo was more like a zombie when he mention you have left him too only for him to be paired with you.. In second selection.... Either way back to the past. Reo mention similarly to what Kunigami said of how you stay in sideline and let others shine balancing things out... Though somehow make them pass to you to score at the end. A carefully thread of stages made by you like a theatre for you to play on them.

Meanwhile... Bachira was like a slap more probably of how he mention about you. You are a quick learner... Too fast probably. He assume. And the fact you seems like you can see future? Maybe you have similar eyes vision like Isagi? Or is it you are fast? Which make him wonder how it will be to compete in speed. And were you and Bachira playing together one on one? But not in team? The eerie feeling linger of Bachira words still stays on Chigiri mind who let out a sighed and kept away his tray.

And then there is Niko who mention your defence been too good. Somehow perhaps because OF your vision, you can block off? He doesn't know. Even Barou gets annoyed when Nagi mention about you and when he learn you block Barou... Which make him in doubt.

Are you specialized in defence? But again he doubts that as you did score against the five. And top 3.

So he conclude in his mind. To know more about you. This curiousity of his was truly suffocating. He doesn't know why he felt intruide. Perhaps the others speaking about you affect him? Probably.

But he knows his image of you right now fragmented by their words can be clear if... He played close to you. And the only way is that. He play alongside.

Don't get him wrong he is going to get a spot off himself in the team against U-20 but... The lingering thoughts is what pull him to it.

And he been a curious cat he wants to know it. See it himself.

"What exactly are you...?"

Isagi eyes flick to Barou who was annoyed over the fact Isagi was not in the top rankings. Saying "you're the one I'm planing to crush so don't get buried in a place like this"

"Ah sorry"

"Tch!" Barou left as Zantetsu enter the washroom.

"Oh its you. The guy that make Reo and Nagi split from Y/n"

"Huh?" Isagi sweatdrop as Niko took the borrowed Isagi facewashed.

"If I am not wrong you are in team V too right?" Niko ask as Zantetsu nod.

"Why don't Aida-senpai ever played or try to score?" Niko asked while brushing his teeth. As Isagi nod curious while Zantetsu pour toothpaste on his brush.

"Y/n? Well he never listen to Reo"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Reo try to make Y/n score but he stick to defence for odd reason"

"That's new... Is he not that confident?" Isagi ask as Niko scoff.

"Senpai not been confident? Yeah right if he wasn't he wouldn't scored" as Niko Guggle his mouth.

"Then why is the reason?"

"Well y/n was been told to scored twice or thrice by Reo but he refuses to listen to Reo who... You know look over all of us in first selection as leader"

"Like a revolutionary against the king" Niko add as Zantetsu nod while adding some pun in his word making them sweatdrop.

It ended up nothing for Isagi as he was now in doubt. He could either choose Rin team whom he as of yet unsurpassed and he want to surpassed Rin. Team A. Or spark chemical reaction with his own weapon to Team C. But... Even if he choose he gotta learn about you too as you can be his opponent if luck wasn't on his side if he pick either of two and end up matching with team B.

And as Ally it will be difficult for him as he barely knows anything about you beside the fact he lost to your team on the semi finals. He still wishes to surpassed.

He still recall his teammates losing their confidence as they were so close at the semi finals to add! But you. You the captain just came and destroy their leading points.

It was the first time he met a wall that was unbreakable. But he didn't felt dreadful no. He felt admiration towards you. Clearly your team was not working with you. (What's with him not noticing Kunigami...😥)

Either way he still recall the way you just steal the ball making them panic. No. He want to go on. More and more. Chase after you. To block you. To even scored against you.

He recall your e/c eyes that was cold but somehow lit up and he still recall what you said to him the words that have been on him till now.

"You sure are determine like the flames of the oil lamp that is ready to burn the forest if it falls. You just need a slight push .. But... You are still not ready for that yet." Your words were calm. He knows you aren't taunting him, he knows you meant something when you said that. The eyes that lit up for a second make his breath ragged and his heartbeat quickens.

All he could think was he want to play against you again. And again!

Even if he no longer can run.

Even if he knows he can't stop the goal. He don't want the timer to stop.

But.. Alas the beep sound make the flaterring reality alive.

Even if he lost. Even if the team lost. He doesn't held hatred towards you like his teammates. Angry at you. Nor he held the same envious look from your teammates.

No. In his eyes were clear. He want to play against you. Once more. Through his teammates or alone. He want to.

But his eyes dulled a bit when he notice you out of the door and threw the armband that literally define you as captain on floor.

Without a look you walk away despite the couch approach you stopping you yet you walk out.

He hesistantly took the armband that was on the floor. Tug it in his pocket and leave with his teammates.

He knew the frustration from you. Where people just try to suppress you just because they couldn't keep up.

And he wonders. How wonderful of a captain were you. For them to neglect you to this point?

He doesn't know.

And he didn't really recognise you at first over the fact you seem different from such a long time as he himself doesn't recall how you look by then beside the electrifying dull e/c eyes.

Perhaps that is the reason why it took him time to really recognise you as a person. He doesn't really believe it. Were you the same person who he want to give it all and play more and more?

You seem much more dull. Like you don't want to be in center of attention unlike how you did in past.

He felt slightly intruide of why? But st the same time annoyed if you truly stopped playing much or been suppressed to point that you no longer shine?

But now he knows it wasn't it is still there. And he wonders how much have you improve.

The screen replays some of the matches play as Isagi stare at it with analytic look.

On the right was Rin, the middle was Nagi and the left was you.

Each video on the screen make his hand tremble. Truly this geniuses were out of his league. And he can't wait to devour them. But how?
