At late noon before the night.

Tanjiro and his friends prepare to move out.

Tanjiro and his squad is giving farewell to Hisa the owner of the mansion.

Tanjiro smiles at Hisa while saying "we're heading out now, thanks for everything!"

Hisa bows down in welcoming manner as she says "Not a problem, for the young slayers I must do my duty to provide good hospitality..."

Hisa gets something from her pocket as she says "Now then, for good luck.."

Hisa gives them good luck by performing a blessing.

But Inosuke becomes wary and anxious as he suddenly burst out his fuming behavior. If you wonder why, Inosuke didn't see like that for the first time in his entire life, and he sees it as something a threat.

Inosuke suddenly shouted like "What do you think you're doing, old woman!??" He raises his fist as if hitting Hisa.

The fuming Inosuke was marching towards Hisa but Tanjiro hold him off.

While Zenitsu blocks his way to protect Hisa, Zenitsu in annoyed yet nervous tone says "what the hell are you doing!? Are you stupid!??"

Saitama was surprised that Zenitsu is acting protective, and this makes the hero proud of Zenitsu's growth. "That's it, act like that and do not be so immature"

Inosuke continue to fume around while getting hold off by Tanjiro.

But the hero becomes impatient as he lift Inosuke like a sandbag, putting him in his shoulder as he say "the owner was just giving us a blessing you moron!"

"Huh!?? I don't know what that is but it sounds dangerous!" Inosuke while looking angrily at Saitama and was squirming around to free himself.

Tanjiro sighed deeply in annoyance when Inosuke is making a trouble infront of the owner, but Hisa doesn't seem to bother by it.

"Take good care of yourselves, and I'll pray for your group's safety" Hisa in gentle mother tone.

Saitama nodded as he says "thanks for taking care of my kids, we'll go now to fulfill our duties.." the hero says while dragging the squirming Inosuke.

"Old man! Release me!!" Inosuke while snorting and fuming, he was behaving around Saitama's shoulder getting carried like a sandbag.

The hero puts down Inosuke as he say "don't create trouble now, jeez..."

"Gnnnnm!" Inosuke snorts as he walks beside the awkward Tanjiro and annoyed Zenitsu.

"Inosuke is acting persistent" Zenitsu in sighing tone

Tanjiro smiles as he defends Inosuke's curiosity "Inosuke doesn't know the meaning of it...."

Tanjiro stare at the walking Inosuke as he says "that was a blessing, Inosuke, you know....a great pride and luck on battle" while smiling.

"Great pride?? Luck in battle?? What does that mean??" He snorts as he walk with interested expression.

Saitama who was infront of them answers the curious Inosuke in calm tone "that means you won't die in the battle..."

Inosuke nodded as he understands, even he don't "I see..I don't know what is this blessing...but I'll take it as a power boost, kwahahaha~"

"Huh?" Zenitsu while scratching his head.

The two shrugs themselves as they get along with Inosuke.

After many hours of walking when the night strikes.

Saitama and his squad can see the entire place they called "Mount Natagumo"

[Crickets sounds in the fields]

Saitama was seem to be curious of the place he sees today as he says "so this is the place we are assigned to eliminate demons huh?"

"Yep, we better prepare for what's worst to happen..." Tanjiro while nervous and observing the surroundings.

"No wonder, we are here because many demon slayers are missing, maybe we are next!!" Zenitsu bend down as his legs trembles in fear.

Saitama sighed like "ugh, why are you so scared? I am here to protect you three"

Tanjiro stare at Zenitsu as he say "Zenitsu, don't worry, all of us will go back alive, I promise you that"

"What a weakling you are! Just go home if you can't stand up!" Inosuke in rude tone as he crosses his arm.

Tanjiro can hear a youngster sound as he rushes forward "quick I hear someone!"

Inosuke follows Tanjiro around, leaving whining Zenitsu and the blank Saitama alone..

Saitama looks at the scared Zenitsu as he says in worried tone "hey kiddo, are you just going to stay here acting like that?"

Zenitsu sobs as he looks at Saitama while responding in scared tone "I am scared to get hurt..."

Saitama is slowly understanding Zenitsu as he can feel what Zenitsu feels.

He put his hand at Zenitsu's back like rubbing his back to comfort him as he says "hey don't whine like that, let's just go with them, I'll protect you"

"W-well I guess..." Zenitsu nodded as he still sobs but he felt like he gets inspired by Saitama's braveness.

"Let's go!" Zenitsu smiles as he follows Tanjiro and Inosuke.

When Saitama and Zenitsu rushes forward, they saw Tanjiro and Inosuke stopping for a moment when they saw a youngster dropping in the ground.

"H-help me...." Says the weak and sobbing young demon slayer.

Saitama kneel down as he offer a hand saying "come, stand up..."

But suddenly...

5 thread that was already attached to the helpless youngster suddenly tried to drag the youngster inside the forest of Nagatumo.

Saitama was surprised of the kid getting dragged, the hero reacted as he leaps high in the air and saves the youngster, he noticed a thread behind the youngster's back as he chop it off using his hand, saving the kid and carrying it before going back to Tanjiro.

"Mister Saitama, thank goodness you saved him...!" Tanjiro smiles in relief.

"Wow, old man is really good.." Inosuke while snorting happily as he complimented Saitama.

As Saitama was carrying the kid, the hero noticed the youngster becoming unconscious "oh...did he die..?" In worried tone.

Inosuke checks the heartbeat of the injured slayer as he says "nah, he is breathing slow, he needs some help as soon as possible"

Zenitsu then proposed "t-then allow me to help him...! My Chuntaro can request help!!"

The three looks each other when they are confused why does Zenitsu's sparrow pop up out of nowhere.

"Oh his name was Chuntaro huh?" Tanjiro chuckled.

"Um, where did that bird came from? In the air? Or you use magic?" Saitama in blank yet confused expression while crossing his arm.

"Eh? Um...erm..he was hiding in my kimono?" Zenitsu in awkward expression but his sparrow becomes angry of Zenitsu's answers.

Zenitsu's sparrow named Chuntaro peck his hand so hard that it hurts him, Zenitsu was screaming "ouch, ouch, ouch!!"

[Sound of someone screaming inside the forest of Mount Natagumo]

Saitama looks at the noise as he rushes inside the forest along with serious Tanjiro and Inosuke. The 3 were furious as they didn't hesitate to dash to help.

"Oii!!! Don't leave me alone here!!" Zenitsu in whining and scared tone

Chuntaro was staring at Zentisu as it speaks "chuchuchuchu!!"

"W-what?" Zentisu scratches his head and noticed that his sparrow was talking to the flying crow above. The crow was injured and exhausted.

Zenitsu's eyes lit up as he told the crow "please request help!! A survivor needs help!"

"Kaw kaw!!" The exhuasted crow nodded as it flies away back to the demon slayer corps.

"Phew..." Zenitsu stand up as he walk inside the forest to find them, he hold Chuntaro in his palm while smiling "good job my Chuntaro...~" he rub his own cheek towards his annoyed Chuntaro

"Chu....." Chuntaro in annoyed tone of Zenitsu's affectionate behavior.

Meanwhile.

Saitama, Tanjiro and Inosuke finally enter inside the Mount Natagumo.

"The place is not really dark, maybe we will have difficulty locating the demons..." Says the blank Saitama while looking at the surrounding.

"Maybe, but we should be cautious, demons are also cunning for their preys.." Tanjiro in serious tone as the squad slowly walking deeper in the forest.

Later, they saw a terrified youngster who was watching at his own wierd comrades in the distance.

Tanjiro introduces himself including his own squad while saying "I'm Tanjiro Kamado, I am ranked Mizunoto...and those are my teammates..."

The youngster was disappointed as he shivers in annoyance while saying "Mizunoto!? No hashira!? Why don't the corps bring a hashira!? Didn't they know there are many dangerous demons here!!"

Suddenly Inosuke punches the youngster's face as he say "shut up weakling! We are here to eliminate demons! Not to hear your tantrums!!"

Tanjiro and Saitama was becoming awkward at Inosuke's aggressive nature as they just look each other with a shrug and confusion

Inosuke then grabs the youngster's hair while intimidating him

"Now, tell us what's going on, you weakling!" Inosuke in serious tone while snorting like a bull.

The irritated yet intimidated youngster sighed in Inosuke's behavior. He didn't hesitate to share the experience with the squad.

The youngster let out a nervous gulp as he says "there are ten of us demon slayers who was assigned in Mount Natagumo in eliminating located demons..."

The youngster paused as he gets scared as he recall the gruesome scene "and then....one of my teammates suddenly act wierd as they just hurt our other comrades until they die..."

The youngster gets terrified as he scream "it's pointless if there are no hashira, all of us will eventually die and get consumed by them!"

"Hey cut it out, we will deal with it..." Saitama feeling empathy to the scared youngster.

The youngster wasn't aware of Saitama around as he says in curious tone "wait- are you a hashira? Why there is an adult guy here...you look like you can't do something good.."

"Shut up weakling! That old man Sadtaman can even cut a mountain you dumbass!" Says the taunted Inosuke defending Saitama.

Suddenly, a group of unconscious youngsters who was controlled by someone came to attack Tanjiro's squad. They showed up out of nowhere in the bush.

"W-what!?" Tanjiro in alert tone

"They are coming! But those are not demons! Damn this!!" Inosuke while cautious and wary.

The 4 unconscious slayers are swinging their swords towards them, yet their movements are too slow for the squad.

But Saitama already know why they act wierd.

"Hey kiddo, there are threads that controls their body, cut it down but don't hurt them!" Says the serious Saitama.

"Alright! Leave it to me!!" Inosuke as he dashes, he leaps and cuts the threads
