#11 IN HAZEL THANKS GUYS! YA'LL ARE THE BEST!

Annabeth's POV

"Annabeth, I have to let you go." Zachary said in a tried, hoarse breathe. "Zach, please, I was just getting used to you, I think I love you!" Zach smiled. The thing that lew out of teh sky had killed most of the demi-gods and attacked others so badly that they would have wished they were dead. Zach smiled at Annabeth's words. She had fallen about 15 feet from the land that they were on when the thing attacked. She had a concusion and possibly a broken set of ribs. "You know, you really are a funny girl. You're my wise girl." Something hit her. There was only one person who called her wise girl, that was his thing. Not Zach's. She couldn't place it, bust she knew one thing, she had to go. She slowly got up, gasping in pain. She looked back to see a smiling Zach. He had broken his leg and his ankle. He was unable to walk. He yelled at her to go and she did. She pushed forward through all of the pain. 

"When she reached a spot, she saw a light, a portal. Something told her to go through it, to go through that portal and she would be safe. She smiled and looked back at Zach to see him smiling back at her and cheering. Tears of joy spread through her eyes. But before she could call back to him, to go and get him and tell him that it as okay, the thing jumped down from the sky. Blood stained its fangs. Annabeth watched in terror as it picked up her boyfriend and threw him off the side of the mountain. Annabeth scremed in terror as the love of her life scremed. She couldn't move, she had been through to much. And then it all came back to her. Except for Gaea's plan had succeded alredy. Every single memory that she had of Percy was replaced with Zach. Everything that she remembered, all of teh moments were replaced with her and Zach instead of her and Percy. 

Her brain spun, and Gaea couldn't help but smile from where she was. He was gone, and so was Zach. And that's all she could think of him, falling to his death. 

And then she slipped into unconciousness.
