Jason's POV

Jason knew that there was a one in five chance that Natasha was still alive. She was not only a mortal, but also a deadly assassin and she insulted the King of the freaking gods. Yeah, and it was all Leo's fault. The whole way over to the Empire State building, Jason could feel the silent tension between Cap and Leo. No one said anything but everyone knew that if they got there and didn't leave with Natasha, those two would kill each other when they got the chance.

"So tell me why we are going to the Empire State Building?" Bruce asked. "Because that's how we get to Olympus, the home of the gods." Leo answered. It was probably the first words that Leo had said in 10 minutes. He used to always laugh, but right now, he was to energized, no, scared to get Natasha back.

What if they found her but she was dead.

What if she was alive but ruined, almost dead.

What if she didn't remember them.

Worst of all, what if Zeus had done something that would have made her hate, them?

Jason might as well have said these things out loud because what he thought Cap said.

"What if this Zeus guy did something to Nat?" He asked. "Don't think like that. Natasha is fine." Bruce said. Did he like her, too. Jason asked. The tone of his voice, the way he acted when she was around. Ugh. Jason was with a bunch of love sick heroes and a demi-god. "Guys, whatever Zeus did to her, if he did anything, we will find a way to get her back." Jason said. He debated whether to say that they also all needed to stop pretending and tell the damn girl that she was beautiful and that they were all hopelessly in love with her. But no. He couldn't say that. It wasn't his place.

They continued till they reached the front desk of the Empire State building. "So how do we get in?" Cap asked. Leo laughed. "Watch him." Jason cracked his neck and ran into the the building, the others following. "Hello, and welcome to the Empire State Building, how can I..." The clerk at the front desk stopped short. Jason had grabbed his neck and and was ready to choke him. "Hey, kid..." Cap started. But Leo put his finger up, and Jason was surprised that Cap didn't snap it.

"Give us the keys." Jason demanded. The clerk fiddled with his key chain and unhooked a gold key with weird symbols on it. "Here. Oh, and next time, just ask nicely, Jason." The clerk dissolved into gold dust and dissolved. "Was that a monster?" Bruce asked. Jason shrugged. "Nope, just a really weird guy."

Percy's POV

When they reached the forest area where Camp Half-Blood once stood, Percy smiled. "Well, here we are, let's go inside." Percy said with a faked smile. He knew very well that Camp Half-Blood wasn't even a camp anymore, it was a home, a refuge, a prison. And he just wanted to break everyone who was there free. "So, how do we get in?" Tony asked. Percy had told them many stories about how it wasn't possible for them to enter Camp Half-Blood because they weren't demigods, but what was surprising was that Tony had already stepped through the border, unharmed. "Um, well, you already did." Percy said. Nico sighed. "If he can walk through the place unharmed, then I guess Gaea is here." They all walked through the border unharmed. "I wonder if..." Percy stopped cold. There, in front of them lay every camper in Camp Half-Blood. Dead. "What the hell happened?" Hawkeye asked, looking at Percy and Nico. But they were to shocked to notice. "Everyone..." Percy started, taking a few steps toward the campers. Some had been impaled and some stabbed. Some looked like they were suffocated and some had that look on their face when Tartarus tortured Percy. Scared, alone, dying. He brushed past them to one special camper that he knew would still be there, he just knew they would be.

And there they were. Lying in the pile of people alone and dead, was Annabeth Chase.

Natasha's POV

"I told you, I don't know where they are or if they are even coming for me!" Natasha yelled. "Why wouldn't they? You seem to have fancied one of the demigods, and who's to say not someone else, too." Zeus protested. Natasha blushed at the thought of Leo. His funny jokes, his warm laugh, but she didn't think of him as someone she could fall in love with, more like someone she could fall for. She had someone else in mind. But besides that, she knew that she would never see him or the rest of her team ever again if she didn't make it out of Olympus.

"Almighty Zeus, I do not know what you want. I have been here for days and I don't know anymore than you do." The guilt and pain of the gods hurting her team mates, hurting her, hurting Leo was almost overbearing. Zeus laughed. "Don't worry little spy. Your friends will come for you, and when they do, I will see to it that they pay." Zeus walked away and it took all of Natasha not to scream.

Piper's POV

"So, you play chess?" Piper asked. Her and Isabelle had been playing chess for a few minutes now and she thought it would be nice to ask. "Um, not really." She said, focusing in the pieces. Piper laughed which earned a smile from Isabelle. "Then why are you so concentrated?" Piper asked. Isabelle looked up at her. "If I'm gonna do then I might as well do it well." She retaliated. Then she laughed. "Plus, you are exceptionally bad at it and I'm about to win." Piper looked down at the board confused. But she was correct.

Piper was corned and she couldn't do anything. All Isabelle had to do was move anywhere and she was done. She sighed and banged her fist on the table, shaking the pieces and knocking some over. "Hey!" Isabelle laughed. Piper shrugged. "Oh well, looks like no one can win now." She said with mock sympathy. Isabelle turned red and lunged across the table at Piper. The two landed on the ground and Isabelle started play fighting her. Piper screamed in delight.

Hazel POV

Hazel was as excited as she could get. She was currently fighting a camper and winning. Her sword slashed at the campers chest making him jump away. From her advantage, she knocked the boys sword away and pinned him to the ground. The boy laughed. "Nice, I knew you could do it." He said. Hazel laughed and reached out a hand to help him up. "You keep dreaming, I will always be better than you." She said. The boy laughed again and accepted Hazel's still extended hand. "You know what LΓ©vesque, you keep talking like that and we'll have a problem." He said. "You know what Hensse, we'll have a problem in a minute if you don't accept the fact that I am better than you in every way, shape and form." She retorted. The boy's smile fade into a look of defeat and concentration. "You know what..." He picked Hazel up and swung her around. "PUT ME DOWN, NATE!" She screamed, but to no avail. "Hazel, Nathaniel, I need your assistance." Nathaniel stopped spinning her around and put her down.(yeah, I cam rhyme)  "Yes, Reyna, sorry." Hazel was shocked and embarrassed. "Ah, yes sorry. Best friends, yah know." Hazel shoved Nathaniel's elbow playfully and he returned her shove. "Yeah, ok. Anyway, I need you both in the dinning hall. Now." She stated and then walked away. When Reyna was out of site, Nathaniel lifted her up again and put her on his broad shoulder. "Now, to finish what we started." He said. And Hazel screamed in excitement.

Annabeth's POV

"You should all get packed up, you leave at first light tomorrow." Chiron said. Over the course of 3 months, Annabeth and the camp committee, including Zack had been planning a quest that would most likely save the camp. "If we fail then we need to evacuate quickly so if you happen to remember, please contact us so that we can have the time to get out." A boy named Lance said. They all nodded. "And you need to remember that you have to have medicine and food with you." The camp doctor Will added. Annabeth chimed in. "Weapons are a needed as well, if we are leaving at first light, then that should give the Hephaestus kids 4 hours to make 6 weapons, that enough time?" She asked. She was directing her question to a member of the committee and a Hephaestus kid. "It would take an hour for one but we can try, I will alert the," The kid said and walked off. Annabeth nodded. It felt good to be in charge. "I will leave Annabeth to continue on." Chiron said also leaving. "Zack, me, Katie, Hannah, Clarisse and Will are going on this quest, right?" She asked. They all nodded. "Ok, so then we need to have a plan that benefits us all. Which means that we can't have Clarisse and Hannah fighting a monster and the rest of us not knowing what is going on." She said. "So what do you suggest?" Zack asked. "I think that we all need to stick together. If this quest is as important as Chiron makes it seem, then we can't afford to loose anyone." She answered. "I like this plan, the only problem is, some of us are not team players." Katie said, gesturing toward Clarisse, who was currently looking at her reflection in the table. "Shut up, Gardener." She snapped.

"Both of you stop, we will make sure that Clarisse stays put." Annabeth said. Katie nodded in agreement and Clarisse rolled her eyes but agreed. "Good. Hannah, any concerns?" She asked her. Hannah zoned back in. "Huh, oh, no. I'm good. As long as I don't die." She said with a smile before returning into her daze. Annabeth nodded and raised her hands. "Alright then well, that's all. I will see you all tomorrow at first light so everyone get some well deserved rest." Everyone filled out of the room. Annabeth was about to leave when Zack grabbed her arm. She looked up at him and smiled. "I have some concerns." He stated. Annabeth looked confused. "And what might they be?" She asked. Zack smiled. "I want to stand next to you the whole time." He said. Annabeth laughed and Zack kissed her with a smile. He then ran with her across the field and from the distance you could hear Annabeth scream with happiness.
