Hazel's POV
She woke up a few minutes after Nate. He was asleep next to her, he was warm while her body was cold. They had fallen asleep after talking all night. She smiled at her best friends cute shape as he slept, then she fell out of the bed.
"Ouch!" She screamed. Nate shot up and looked around. "Hazel, Hazel was that you?" She raised a hand up to show that she was there. "How the hell did you fall?" He asked, leaning over to look at her. She shrugged. "I fell. I'mm okay, though." He nodded and helped her up. "So, what do you wanna do today?" Hazel shrugged and brushed off her pj's. "I don't know, we talked all night so maybe, I don't know, train." Nate shrugged. "I guess so, but we could just..." The room shook and everything started to fall. Hazel fell backward and hit her head. "Hazel!" He yelled and ran to her. "Hazel, please, wake up!" But she was out cold. Blood dripped down her head. "Hazel, please don't leave me, wake up, wake up, please!" The whole cabin shook and the roof started to cave in. Nate picked her up and ran outside the falling cabin.
The camp was empty of campers and the place was crumbling down. Nate saw a small light from the corner of his eye. He ran toward it with a slight faint piece of hope. There stood what Nate realized was a portal. Something drew him to throw her throw it, to save her. He looked down at Hazel and cried. The tear dripped down her cheek and he whispered something in his ear.
"I will always love you. Our fathers may be foes, but I am not your foe, I love you. And even though I don't want to admit it, there will always be something in between us. Wheather it's our fathers, or Earth. Goodbye." He kissed her and then, with a cry of sadness, threw her into the portal.
