as changbin glanced over at felix, he noticed the way the other was seemingly white knuckling their phone and clenching their jaw.

jeongin probably told him.

taking a deep breath, changbin pulled up his chat with felix. unsure of what to type, he decided to just wing it and hope for the best.

"changbin, i promise its not like that"

"then please, felix, tell me what it is like. if you don't like me, say so, i don't like being played with"

trying to stay calm, changbin was beginning to feel that uncomfortable warmth that was anger. all he wanted was for felix to look at him and explain things, that wasn't too much to ask was it?

apparently it was.

"right"

with that changbin started getting all his stuff together. there was no use staying around when he clearly was not wanted. 

"wait, what are you doing" felix asked as he watched changbin stand up.

"you clearly aren't as invested in this as what i am, so what use is there to stay?"

"no wait, changbin, i do care-"

"and maybe you do, but who knows. jeongin made it out to seem as if i was the somewhat bad guy, that you weren't sure if i was willing to see you again; go out with you again," changbin took a deep breath in. "but i am, it seems as if you're the one who doesn't want to though- which i don't get! you seemed so eager over messages, and then tonight was amazing, so i just don't get it!"

felix felt as if there was 20 elephants lodged in his throat.

"it's not that simple"

"not that simple! i like you, you maybe like me- at least i thought that was the case"

"you have to understand"

"you're not giving me anything to understand!" changbin really didn't mean to yell, but he just couldn't control himself anymore. be really needed to leave before he said something he would come to regret. "i can't with this right now. i'm going home, message me when you finally figure yourself out"

and with that, changbin left, slamming the door on his way out.
