--Intro--
You and Draco have been friends since forever, because your father works with his and they were bestfriends at hogwarts. Draco and you are also bestfriends, he seems different around you. Sweeter even a little soft, but he still goofs around and makes snarky comments at times, you both were selected as Slytherin, neither one of you were surprised. When you come back for 4th year at Hogwarts Dracos a little suprised with your new appearance, you were always cute in his eyes but now he pictured you in a different way

-Y/N POV-

I was at the train station waiting for Draco, he was late like usual. I looked around me seeing Harry Potter. I didnt dislike Harry just Draco did. We were neither friends, but we didnt dislike each other. We may chit-chat when switching classes or something besides that nothing else.

"Hey Harry," I smiled

"Oh, Hey" He smiled, ron was turning the corner

"Shouldnt you be with your boyfriend, Malfoy" Ron laughed

"Oh Hush"i laughed
"Were just friends" i smiled, i turned the corner to see Draco talking to Pansy,

"Hi Draco," I smiled Pansy looking disgusted with me

"Hey" Draco said walking immediately away from Pansy and towards me.

"What was that all about" I laughed

"Oh ya know her asking me out and stuff" he snarled he made eye contact with me his eyes sort of seemed a little surprised

"You really dig yourself don't you Draco" I said hitting him lightly in the arm

"God, you dont have to go on and point it out" he said

He looked to see Harry Potter, he walked over

"Oh look who it is Harry Potter, and a Weasly" He laughed

I ran over to draco grabbing his arm trying to get him away from the situation

He pulled back still making eye contact with Harry

"Why dont you go buzz off Malfoy" Ron said pushing his cart in the opposite way Harry following him.

I grabbed Draco's cold hand to pull him away from them to his cart.

"Draco why do you feel the need to always do that" I sighed

"Your not my girlfriend quit treating me like your bitch" he said pulling is hand away from mine

"I never said that draco I ju-" I cut myself off thinking about what draco had just said.

I made eye contact with him he immediately looked gulity. I pushed my cart away from his and went to platform 9 3/4

I could feel his stare carving into my back even though I couldn't see draco. I felt someone touch my hand I looked up to see Fred Weasley

"Oop- sorry about that y/n" he said giving me a sweet smile"

"Don't worry about it Fred" Fred gave me a sly wink and trailed off after George who was far in front of me.

I wanted to look back to find Draco but it wasn't worth my time, he's always going to act like that no matter what I say.

----

I sat in the closest booth I could find, I didn't sit in the same booth as Draco because well he just really pissed me off for today. I didnt know their names but there was two Ravenclaws in my booth and one Gryffndor, they looked at me in a odd way but I shrugged it off. After an hour or two in the booth I excused myself saying I had to use the bathroom, I didn't I just really wanted to leave the booth, that had awkward silence and the reason was most likely me.

I walked around hopefully finding someone I knew.

I saw Draco walking to the bathroom but he wasn't alone. I tried my best to figure out who the person was Draco was following then I saw raven black hair and beady eyes.

It was of course Pug Face.

Anger had come upon my face, and I could feel tears starting to form. Why her, why her he's the ugliest, skankiest, bitch ever. Some would say I'm jealous which I'm not, just why take her?

I stood there hoping Draco would actually see me and not go through with him and Pug Face, but he walked into the bathroom with her.

I stood there sobbing a bit with my legs feeling a bit wobbly so it was hard to stand so I fell. I fell on my butt, I backed up against a wall, I held my knees close to my chest sobbing like a child who lost her mother at a grocery store.

I felt something hit my shoe, I looked up. It was Harry Potter!

"You alright y/n?" He said while helping me up

"Oh I'm fine I just-" I was thinking of an excuse but nothing came to mind

He had a blank stare at me but he didn't question me.

"So what booth are you in Y/L/N"he said lightly pulling my arm with him

"Oh, I left the booth I was in" I said giving him an akward smile

"Thats fine you can just sit in my booth we have like an hour and thirty minutes left so it wont be that bad" he snarled

"Thanks Harry"Ｉsmiled

I walked into there booth I saw Hermonie Granger and Ron Weasley they were arguing but they always argue so it wasn't a shock.

"Oh hello y/n" Hermoine said patting the seat next to hers signalling to sit next to her.

Ron didn't say anything just looked at me then talked to harry

Me and Hermoine talked. I quiet liked her company I would even call her my friend I guess. She was quite an interesting person.

We all started a conversation about well who knows and the time started to go by faster and before I knew it I was at Hogwarts.

----

I grabbed my cart pushing it to the closest exit right behind the golden trio. Until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I whipped around to see Draco

"Can I talk to you for a moment," he said having a sturn look on his face

"Why, so you can yell at me again" I said giving him a sturn look back

"Nooo y/n, just for a second" he said grabbing my hand

I wanted to pull my hand away but I didn't I'm not sure why I just didnt do it.

He dragged me to a place where no one could see us, he made sure of it.

"What do you want Draco" I started to feel angry again and my legs felt wobbily, I couldn't let him see how pathetic I really am so I stood best I could.

"Darling, I just wanted to apologise" he said lifting my chin up.

I felt a tear roll down my cheek

"Lovely, why are you crying" he said wipping my tear away

I had an urge to throw up I couldnt bare to look at Draco

"You and her" I said crying even more so it was hard to hear what I had said.

He looked at me, with a very concerened look on his face, I don't think he heard me but he wipped my tears once again,

"C'mon we probably have to go soon" Draco said pulling my hand with him

After we put our carts in our room we went to the Slytherin table while everyone was at their houses tables. I looked around seeing familiar faces. I was sitting next to Draco, he looked at me not having any expression in his face what so ever. Professor Dumbledor started talking and everyone went silent, I didnt really pay attention to what he was saying, because I felt something graze my thigh, I looked up seeing Draco give me a smirk, my face felt bright red. I pushed Draco's hand away from my leg. I felt him grabbing my hand and just holding it. I felt my heart beating faster, I'm not sure why I'm embarrassed we have held hands before but not in a while. Does he like me or something? No that's crazy right?

After the whole introduction I went to my classes. Nothing interesting just a recap and what we are going to learn through out the year and stuff. I then went to lunch Draco was acting weird again like holding my hand but he only did it in private

----

I was laying in my bed, trying to fall asleep, but I was wide awake. I went to the Slytherin common room trying to read because I couldn't fall asleep.

I sat alone sitting infront of the fireplace that was keeping me warm. I heard someone coming. It was Draco!

"Hey y/n" he smiled
My eyes wandered who could blame me he was only wearing sweatpants and a thin t-shirt I couldn't help it.

"Hey" I said quietly

"Why were you crying anyway" he said sitting on the dark green sofa behind me.

"Oh, well I really don't want to talk about it Draco" I said continuing my book

Draco walked in front of me and sat down next to me.

"Soooo watcha reading" he said grabbing my book

"Draco don't im going to lose the page numb-" he already grabbed the book from my hands

"Y/N why do you even read these things their sooo boring" he dropped the book on the ground

"C'mon I'm bored hang out with me" Draco said lifting me up

"Fine what do you wanna do?" I said getting agitated

"Dance with me" he gave a small smile and stuck out his hands

"You know I can't dance very well" I giggled

He put his hand on my waist and grabbed my right hand, we were rocking back and forth and he spinned me around. He held me close to him, it was comforting.

We were still dancing but I asked him
"Hey when did you learn how to dance anyway?" I laughed

"My mom taught me" he said laughing a bit

"Your such a mama's boy" I said laughing loudly

"Hey don't laugh so loud were gonna get caught and most likely gets points taken away from Slytherin since are out past hours" he said

"oH nO" I mocked him

"Can I show you something y/n?" He said

"Um sure I guess,"

He grabbed my hand leading me outside, it wasn't to cold it was somewhat chilly. He lead me to the grassy area, the stars were out and it was breathtaking. The sky looked like it was glowing by the amount of stars. Draco had led me to the astronomy tower. It felt unreal.

"Draco, do you come up here often?" I said still holding his hand

"Only if I wanna be alone or if I'm thinking" he said gazzing upon the stars.

He let go of my hand and laid down  on the platform, I then did the same. He grabbed my hand again, I could feel him tracing his finger in a circle on top of my hand. He was so lovely it was hard to explain how much I cared for him. His other friends certainly don't care for me, they think I'm a joke for being in the Slytherin house, but Draco understood why I am a Slytherin, it seems he's the only one that did.

"Your amazing y/n" I looked over to see Draco smiling

I smiled I really didn't know what to say

"Do you fancy Pan𝗌y" I said holding my breath

"What, No!" He seemed offended I even asked

He sat up looking at me

"Why would you ask" he seemed offended once again

"Yo- You walked into the bathroom with her Draco" Draco fell silent

"I don't fancy her I just-" I don't think Draco really had an answer in general

"Ah.. I see" I sat up then let go of Draco's hand and started walking down the stairs

"Y/n where are you going" he said grabbing my hand

"My dormitory" I said pulling my hand away from his

Draco then yelled down towards me
"Why would you care if I liked Pan𝗌y anyway"

"You really want to know why" I said my eyes tearing up

"You wanna know what I think y/n, I think your jealous because I fancy her and not a halfblood like you" he said becoming angry

"Jealous" I laughed

"Of course I'm bloody jealous Draco," I said stunned

"Why do you care do you fancy me or something" Draco said still yelling at me

"Yes! Are you a bloody idiot Draco, I've liked you since I was 8, and you never noticed me just Harry and being a dick to him for no reason"

I starred at Draco wanting to forgive him, I had no real reason to be mad. He wasn't my boyfriend or anything it just broke my heart.

I walked down the astronomy tower stairs with tears in my eyes. Hoping Draco would chase after me. But I didn't hear any footsteps. I was truly alone.

----

I then went back to the Slytherin common room grabbing my book. And immediately leaving. I crawled back intoy bed not being able to sleep.

----

I laid in my bed feeling sick, helpless even. I wanted to sink into my bed and never come out. But why would Draco like her she's so ugh
