I got in Lydia's car as she drove to Allison's house. Once we got there my nerves got the better of me. Allison waved to us and got inside. "Hey! I'm Allison" She said to me. "I'm Ava, nice to meet you"

My nerves wore off as Allison and Lydia were talking about boys and one in particular, a boy named Scott.

"Does Ava know what happend to Jackson?" Allison muttured. "Of course she does, I tell her everything. She believed it because she's into that kinda stuff" Lydia responded to Allison.

The sky was turing darker every minute till Lydia stopped at a red light.

"Drive just go!" Allison shouted. It was Scott her ex boyfriend, Lydia told me all about how they kept breaking up and about how he was werewolf. "It's a red light-" "GO!"

As soon as it hit green, Lydia sped away from them.

I rubbed my shoulder feeling rude that I didn't say hi. She noticed they stopped the car as Scott and his friend weren't driving.

An animal came rushing towards us smashing the front of the car. All of us screamed at the top of our lungs, the boys came running out of the jeep to check on us.

I jumped out first getting rid of the glass that has flew onto my legs. Allison and Lydia went over to Scott and his friend.

"You okay? You sure you're okay?" I heard Scott ask Allison. I had to admit I felt out of place as they had mini convosations.

"Ava, are you alright?" Lydia asked. I nodded my head and picked out a tiny piece of glass on my shoulder.

"I'm Stiles, it's nice to meet you" Stiles said with a smile. "I'm Ava, Lydia's distant cousin"

Scott went to look at the deer, that bashed into the car, and noticed something off. "It seems terrified"

--

"Freshman. Tons and tons of fresh men" I rolled her eyes in disgust as Lydia directed her glances to the freshman. "Lydia their fourteen" Allison pointed out.

Lydia obviously didn't care for what she said. "Allison's right, Lydia. There not exactly what you should be wanting" I said as I picked some books from my locker.

"You know, it's okay to be single" Allison told Lydia. "Focus on yourself, I mean I don't have a boyfriend and those are not what we need" I said.

Lydia stared at them both and chuckled before talking. "Allison and Ava, I love you guys so much. So if any of you need to do that thing were we talk about me and pretend we're not actually talking about you, it's totally fine"

I bit my lip by accident as Lydia stared off into the abyss of boys. "I don't want a boyfriend. I want a distraction" She said.

As she stared at all the boys two in particular caught her eyes. Two boys walking in sync wore denimn jackets and jeans which included a moterbike helmet.

"Brothers?" Allison asked. We all were looking at them.

Good looking but obviously someone that hot has to be hiding something.

"Twins" Lydia said with a smirk.
--

My timetable was some what similar to Lydia's but the odd class I had was without her. One person, however, caught my eye. Stiles.

I walked over to the seat next to him hesitating talking to him. "Hi,um, can I sit there?" I finally asked.

He nodded his head and took some books near the desk I was sitting at onto his. I sent a smile to which he smiled back.

Footsteps were heard, like heels, walking into the classroom. As they were getting closer each and everyone of our phones went off.

"The offing was bared by a black bank of clouds and the tranquil waterway, leading to the uttermost ends of the earth flowed sombre under an overcast sky, seemed to lead into the heart of immense darkness" A lady said, which I recognised as the english teacher.

"This is the last line to the first book we are going to read, it will also be the last text you recieve in this class. Phone off everyone" I had to admit it was quite creative but how did she get all of our numbers?

The english teacher introduced herself and started teaching the class. I kept zoning out which isn't the best thing to occur when you're new.

Someone called for Scott which blasted me back to reality. My eyes darted to Lydia who was next to Stiles, her leg had a plaster.

"Lydia, is your ankle okay?" I asked her. "Yeah, is that from the accident?" Stiles added, I knew he was reffering to the deer.

"No, Prada bit me" she whispered. Ms Blake, the english teacher, was pointing at stuff and teaching. I didn't understand what she was teaching anyways.

"Your dog?" Stiles said in a shocked tone.

Prada never bit anyone, especially Lydia.

"No, my designer handbag" she sarcastically said. "Yes, my dog"

"Lydia, Prada never bites anyone. Was she aggitated?" I asked trying to make some sense of the situation. "I don't know she just bit me"

Stiles hummed a little "What if it's like the same thing with the deer? You know, like, how animals start acting weird right before an earthquake?"

I raised my eyebrows and looked at Stiles "Are you basically saying there is going to be an earthquake?" I asked him.

"Maybe or maybe not"

"Well that wasn't very helpful, no offence" I joked. I glared at the window noticing black birds swarming and surrounding the school.

After obvserving it for a few moments I quickly came to the conclusion that it was infact a pack of crows. They all started smashing into the window, leaving their blood smeared all along it.

Ms Blake noticed it too, she went over to the window and more crows started smashing into the windows. The glass flew across the room and so did the crows. "Ava! Come here!" A voice said. I recognised it to be Stiles.

I rushed towards him as he pressed my head down-gently might I add- under a desk to stop myself from getting hurt by hundreds of crows. Everyone was either screaming or running frantically to hide from the crows.

A few minutes go by and it seemed to have calmed down, no more crows smashing through the windows or people screaming. The tables were flipped, people had cut marks from the crows and feathers of the crows were everywhere.

The tidy room quickly turned into a messy room. "Ava, are you alright?" Lydia asked me. She came into view as my breathing finally got back to normal. "Yeah, just a little shocked that's all"

Lydia told me all about the supernatural and all them kinds of abilities but crows flying and breaking into classroom..was not something I was aware of.

I searched the classroon for Stiles seeing him talking to Ms Blake. "Stiles I wanna say thank you, for protecting me" A smile formed on his face. "You're welcome" he said, going back to Ms Blake.

Lydia went over to me after Stiles left. "This isn't supposed to be your first impression of Beacon Hills after not visiting for years" Lydia began. She fixed her hair and grabbed her books.

"It's okay-"

"No, Ava! It's not okay, I promised your mom you'll have a fun time but now this happend and if Stiles wasn't their then you would have been hurt"

Lydia had a point but it didn't matter to me. She checked her plaster- to make sure it didn't fall off.

The police soon came in along with some other help for the people seriously injured. "What if Stiles is correct? What if something is going to happen?" I asked her.

"Then we better prepare for the worst" she said, leaving the classroom to find Scott.

"Is it me or is Beacon Hills turning into a Beacon for the supernatural?" Lydia asked, as she applied her lipstick in her locker mirror.

Me and Allison both let out a chuckle and turned around to have a pretty woman standing in front of us. "Where's Scott McCall?" she asked.

Her eyes looked like she was desperate, almost like a lion searching for it's dinner. "You're Allison, right?" Allison glanced over to us both "Yeah" she replied.

Her voice was shaky, insinuating she didn't know who this woman was. "Where's Scott?" The woman asked again. "He had to leave"

"Is he coming back?" The girl urgently asked before grabbing hold of Allison and Lydia's wrist. "We don't know who you are so before you grab people's wrists say a little warning" I said.

The woman ignored my remark and stared down the hallway. No-one was there yet it still send a chill down my spine. She let go and and rushed away leaving us all questioning what the hell just happened.

Lydia looked at her wrist and scoffed "She bruised me" Allison lifted her wrist up and noticed she had a bruise too.

"Me too" Allison said, inhaling and exhaling in frustration.

"Listen, Lydia I'm going to hang out a little round the neighbour hood so you don't need to drop me off or anything" I told Lydia, changing the subject.

--

I sat on the swing taking in the view. Trees with orange leaves dropping onto the floor at every tiny motion of wind. I hopped off the swing and took in the fluorescent scents of flowers that filled my nose.

I focused on the flowers before bumping into someone.

"I'm so sorry, are you okay?" I asked the person I fell into. "Ava?" the person asked, their voice sounding somewhat familiar.

"Stiles?"

"yeah, hi" he said. I got myself up and helped him up. "Sorry about falling into you"

"It's okay, what are you doing here alone anyways?" Stiles asked. I stepped forward grabbing my bag that I had dropped after the incident.

"Lydia is with Allison so I decided to hang out and explore" I told him. Stiles nodded his head and grabbed out his phone. "If you're alone and want someone to talk to, then don't hesitate to ring me"

I gave him my phone and exchanged numbers, we parted our ways and waved goodbye.

Something might actually come from this.
