When the paladins arrived back at the ship, the grass was very confused. It didn't know what was on it's surface or what eye color it had. It's a strange planet, but interesting. Something scientist can look forward too. Pidge was beyond amazed. 

The paladins boarded the ship. They named the cubs by their colors after Lance called the blue cub, Blue. Hunk was carrying Yellow like a baby. Green was walking next to Pidge. Black did the same with Shiro. Blue was on top of Lance's head, for which Keith almost died of cuteness. Red was perched on Keith's shoulder. "You're a pirate now, Keithy boy." Lance sneered into his ear. Keith blushed at the pet-name and how close Lance was to him. "God, don't be an idiot Lance." Lance  laughed aloud a walked away, Blue clinging on to dear life.

Allura was certainly very confused on why the paladins had small lions with different colors on them. Coran was all over the lions, giving them a ton of cat toys he had in the closet. "Coran, why do you have cat toys in the closet?" Coran smoothed out his moustache,"Well Princess, you never know what creatures you might find on a mission like this, besides they like them don't they." Blue and Hunk were the only ones who seemed interested in the toys. Red was still playing with Keith's knife, Green was helping Pidge with a gadget, and Black remained next to Shiro doing nothing but watch over his cubs. Coran pointed to them,"They love them!"

Allura shrugged and navigated the ship. The paladins quickly took off their extraordinary suits. Everyone tried to talk to the cubs, but they were so tired they fell asleep for 13 hours. They only had 1 hour to talk to the cubs, which they didn't get much use from, since they don't understand them. So the cubs just hung out in silence, playing with toys(cough*knives*cough).

Eventually, they arrived at NASA with cheering from the small crowd of astronauts and engineers. Everyone swarmed surrounding the team. Including Allura and Coran, relatives of the famous Agent Alfor. They awed at the cubs, and Blue stood proudly on Lance's head, puffing out his chest. Red rolled his eyes and his sparkle freckles shined. I guess that's what happens when they blush.

A girl with short brown hair and hazel eyes ran to Keith. Her faces was flushed from running. At least, that's what the Team thought. "Keith, hey!" Keith turned to her and smiled."Anne! It's good to see you!" Anne blushed and Lance took notice. "Y-You did great! As usual.." she stammered. Keith grinned completely oblivious as fuck. Anne tried to distract herself from Keith's pretty face. "Who's this little guy?"

Red jumped from Keith's shoulder as the young girl reached out to him. He landed on the ground, growling at Anne. He felt a surge to protect Keith from the girl threat. "Aliens from another planet?!" she gasped. Keith nodded,"I guess, everyone has one and they sorta connected with us," He smiled at red and Anne glanced up blushing.

As the conversation continued, Lance watched the scene in jealousy. Blue didn't mind until Anne tried to impress Keith and look cute by playing with Red. Red didn't give her satisfaction, instead he growled and threatened to bite her. Lance and blue watched in victory. Lance didn't know Anne, but he could tell she wasn't dumb. She was one of the scientists at NASA, and worked literally in rocket science. She was just flustered around Keith, which irritated Lance.

Lance looked away and turned to see a woman with long blonde hair and too much lipstick. She looked around then spotted something as her eyes lit up. She gave herself a mini pep talk, and walked over...to Shiro. She wrapped her arm around his, making him jump a bit.

"Hey Shiro!~" She said in her "cute" voice.

"H-Hey Diana" Shiro was incredibly uncomfortable.

"You did really good today!~" She said feeling his muscles. You could tell she was trying not to squeal.

"Thanks" He muttered, clearly not interested.

Lance chuckled at the Diana's flirting. Everyone knew Shiro was painfully gay. Besides, Lance was a wayy better flirt, so she can just back off. Lance looked at Shiro's desperate face. He looked at Black who did absolutely nothing. Shiro pleaded with black silently, but Black just sighed and licked his paw. Lance looked back at Keith and Anne.

"So Keith...I was wondering"

Oh no

Keith looked at Anne raising his eyebrow."Yeah?"

Oh hell no

"Uh do you want to-maybe sometime-go"

HELL NAH

Lance put a hand on Keith's shoulder, trying not to pant since he ran to the pair. Lance tried not to scream since Blue's claws were digging into his scalp for dear life. He put on her serious face and serious voice,"Keith we got to get going. Allura's waiting for us. Imma get Shiro now...and rescue him." Lance pointed to Shiro and Keith started laughing. Anne's face went red. Lance though....damn Lance's heart was hammering in his chest and his face was on fire. He never, never, made Keith laugh before. His laughter was music to Lance's ears. Keith smiled making Lance almost lose it and said bye to Anne as she pouted. Red walked with Keith growling at her. Blue was glaring at her. 

Lance swiftly made his way to Shiro and grabbed his wrist. "We gotta go." Lance winked and Shiro shot him a grateful look. He quickly got away before Diana could ask for his number(again). They made their way to Allura who was talking to Alfor.

"Paladins! My father and I were talking and we decided it will be wonderful to keep the cubs!"

Red growled.

"Lions, forgive me, They will be useful in battle! If we can train them, of course." The lions roared in agreement. Yellow had to walk away and throw up.

Alfor spoke up, asking a question the paladins had been avoiding," Have you found a way to communicate with them?"

With those words, the paladins were suddenly on their knees, groaning and gripping their heads in pain. Anna ran to Keith's side, much to the obvious irritation from Lance. "Keith, are you alright!?" she asked worriedly. The paladins got a grip and stood up,"Y-Yeah, I think it's the lions." The paladins locked eyes with their lions and felt a...spark. A zing. A light. Lance collapsed to the floor again. Keith rushed to his side, kneeling in front of him, his hand on his shoulder. Lance's cheeks were tinted red for some reason, and he got to his feet. "Yeah, I'm fine."Keith was still in front of him, his head adorably tilted to the side, his eyebrows furrowed in worry. He crossed his arms. "Are you sure?"

Lance looked up and smiled at Keith, causing his to flare up. "Yeah, really I'm fi-"

"Hi Lance!"
