Lance was letting off some steam a week after they got Shiro. Once the medics had put him on the bed, he was fast asleep. He was in the gun room, a room Allura had made for him personally. He used it when he felt bad, or mad, or sad, or too lovesick. Today he was just training. He had one target in front of him, in the form of a person. He raised his shotgun and shot it multiple times. Lance lowered his gun and lifted his safety glasses. "Bullseye."

(He's wearing finger-less gloves.)

He's obviously progressed through the years. When he was younger, he wasn't the strongest kid on the block, but he wasn't weak either. He was bullied, but he put up a fight. When Shiro found him, Lance was thin and pale. He took him in and introduced him to Team Voltron, to which he was offered a position in. He was surprised to see his childhood friend, Allura, on the team. Well, she helped found it with Shiro. Especially since the Galra killed most of her family. So they started Team Voltron, with the help of Alfor and permission from the government. Lance was one of the first to become a paladin of Voltron. He was with Shiro, who was the black paladin and Lance was the blue paladin.

Then Hunk and Pidge came in. Shiro saw Hunk, and he was a big guy with a big heart. He had been going to the gym and Shiro saw his potential. At first Hunk was reluctant, but then Shiro told him he would be helping people from the Galra. Hunk had heard of the Galra before and how bad they were, so he had a chance to stop the unhappiness they left in his family and friends. Then, there was a yellow paladin.

Pidge was a tiny teen with a huge brain. She developed gadgets with her brother, Matt,  but he went missing in a mission. He was an agent and went on a mission against the galra. Pidge refused to believe he were missing. On the way on her quest to save her brother, she met Hunk who also worked in a cafe. He opened his arms out to her, and she told him everything. After Hunk became the yellow paladin, he had asked Shiro if they had another spot on the team. He recommended Pidge, who accepted immediately when she heard they were fighting against the galra. That's how the green paladin came to be.

Last but not least, Keith. Keith knew that Shiro had worked for the government after he retired as a pilot. After all, he was his adopted brother who had been with him for years. Shiro had asked him to join Voltron, but Keith wasn't so sure. He had been introduced to the paladins and they were nice, but Lance had a weird rivalry. Apparently, they knew each other in High School and they were rivals. He remembered Lance was there, but never remembered them fighting or anything like that. When Shiro offered him the position as the red paladin, Keith was surprised when no one objected. Heck, they even tried to persuade him, including Lance.

Eventually, Keith gave himself a moment to think. Lance had accompanied him and talked to him about his doubts. Keith joined Team Voltron and for the next few years, they were in missions Alfor gave them. During that time, Keith saw how Lance really was, not the dumb idiot rival who fought with him a lot playfully. But the Lance who cared for him and the others, the one who was the heart of the team. Keith soon found himself falling for the blue paladin.

Lance had always liked Keith, in high school because he admired him. But when Keith was expelled it sorta ruined it for Lance. When he saw him again, he was nervous his feelings would resurface. So he faked it, a rivalry. They never had a rivalry, but Lance was really nervous. He felt a little bad, so he comforted Keith about his doubts in Team Voltron. He saw how much Keith really cared for Shiro. Through the years, he saw the real Keith. Not the arrogant, emo, mullethead pilot, but the kind, caring, strong, beautiful idiot. Lance was found his feelings resurfacing, but for a different reason.

At the present time, Lance was coming out of the gun room, taking off his safety glasses and headphones. He put away his gun safely in his collection and the door opened. Keith was there sweating and panting, and Lance was losing himself in his eyes. "Lance, Shiro...is...awake." Lance eyes widened and he grabbed Keith's hand, taking him to the med bay.

Eventually, they made it to the med bay and Anne was there checking up on Shiro, who was still trying to wake up. Keith's face lit up the room, Anne and Lance blushing like crazy. "Shiro! Anne, how is he?" Anne smiled,"He'd doing better! We gave him our latest technology prosthetic arm.(Don't worry this one is actually connected to his shoulder)

BAM

A man with fizzled chocolate hair and eyes, with black glasses came running in. "Where's Takashi?" Keith came running to him, letting go of Lance's hand."Adam! Shiro's doing okay! He still trying to wake up though. Anne, can you help us with him?" Anne nodded and Lance and Keith helped Shiro sit up on his hospital bed. He stood up and finally his sight re-adjusted. "Keith? Keith! Adam! Lance!" Tears formed in everyone's eyes. "Shiro" They cried, and Adam was the first to run up to him. Adam cupped Shiro's face and kissed him passionately. Anne gasped and looked away, to give them their privacy. Keith smiled and Lance smirked,"Finally, we kinda figured." Adam released a flustered Shiro and smacked him in the head. "Y-You idiot! Don't scare me like that ever again!" Adam said, salty tears falling to the ground, pulling him into a hug. Shiro smiled and looked at Keith, beckoning him forward and Keith uncrossed his arms, tears streaming down and he ran to Shiro joining the hug. Lance felt a little awkward.

Pidge,Hunk, and Allura came in, already crying and ran to Shiro. Shiro was crowded by people everywhere hugging him and crying. Lance joined in the hug,"Don't leave me out of this!" Allura cried out,"Everyone is together again, Shiro!" She was the first to pull away. "Shiro...what did they do to you?" she whispered, almost scared to ask. Shiro sighed." I was at the pool party...."
