"Faith, hey" Joe shook my shoulder a bit. It was about 6am, and I was still sleeping. Until now.

"What" I looked at him, still covered in blankets, barely opening my eyes.

"Your phone keeps buzzing, turn it off" Joe said, and he threw himself in the sheets again.

I picked my phone, and what I saw woke me up fully.

"What the fuck?" I whispered to myself as I frowned at the messages.

"Why are you frowning at the phone like that?" Kit step up to the room as he saw my face.

I just looked up at him. I didn't hesitate for a second. I handed him the phone.

"I trust you. Can you please just.. look at the messages and respond if it's urgent to?"

Kit looked at the phone, and took it right away. "Of course"

As Kit was typing this, he made sure I would nod on every message he typed before he sent it.

When he typed and sent the last one, he turned to me.

"Is this okay?" he said as he looked at me, giving me the phone even though I saw every message.

"Yes, thank you so much, you're life saver" I smiled at him as I tilted my head a bit.

"I don't get what he's trying" Kit said frowning. As I see I'm not the only one who Richard pissed off.

"Me neither, but I hope he'll stop after this"

Kit slightly smiled, laying his hand on mine.

"You mean so much to me, Faith" he said unexpectedly. "Even if I don't show it much"

"You mean so much to me too, Kit" I responded right away.

This little moment of ours was cute and heart-warming. But wouldn't be us if we didn't forget about Joe.

"Can you two stop confessing love to each other and shut your mouths? I want to sleep.. please" Joe said as he put pillow over his head.

Me and Kit looked at each other.

"Such a drama queen" I whispered.

"Hey! I heard that, which one of you said that" Joe said looking at us. We just rolled our eyes. This dipshit.

"Escape room? Who in this cast is coming up with these?" I asked. If activities were on me, I could never come up with anything.

"I don't know? But sounds fun, doesn't it" Joe said looking for his wallet, which he found in a few seconds.
"I know that Corinna, Seb and Yazmin are going, others couldn't"

"Oh okay, six of us then" Kit said.

"We better go if we want to make it in time" I said, grabbing my phone and standing in front of the door, ready to leave.

"Someone here loves escape rooms as I see" Kit smiled as both of him and Joe came up to me, meaning we're ready to leave.

"Horror one?!" I loudly whispered when I saw the theme of the escape room.

"It's more fun, c'mon" Corrina said, navigating us to the reception.

When we came to the escape room, the room itself was huge. There were multiple rooms, and I didn't know where to look first.

The woman came to the entrance of the escape room, and glanced at us all.

"You guys have an hour, enjoy it" she closed the door as she said that.

There was not much light in there, not darkness either. I was just looking around at everyone, because everything happened so fast.

"I hate y'all" I said, already scared as hell.

"You'll enjoy it" Corinna said laughing a bit.

"Okay so, we should look around. There are plenty of rooms, so let's get into it" Joe said, vanishing in one of the rooms.

"That's the only thing that I agree at with you all today" I said with an ironic tone in my voice, causing Seb roll his eyes. I couldn't see very well, but I'm sure he did that.

I decided to go in the room which was most far away from our group. I didn't know what I was looking at, and I was scared because of that.

As I entered the room, I saw a little candle in the center of the room, which was at little table. There was a box beside it. When I looked to my right there was a chest of drawers. I looked around it, and opened the drawers one by one.

"Ha" I said to myself as I saw code. Or part of it.

"Found something?" I heard Kit's voice behind me. I nearly jumped, but stopped myself to do so.

"Come here, take a look at this" I gestured with my hand, and pointed at the code.

"_ _ 2 _" Kit read out loud. "Interesting, I swear I saw something similar in room next to this" he said, wanted to leave the room, but I pulled him back.

"Wait, there's also a little box, see?" I pointed at the box next to the candle.

"Why didn't you open it yet?" he smiled a bit.

"There's going to be something shitty, and I'm scared of these things" I said as I folded my hands.

"Idiot" he laughed to himself as he grabbed the box. I was standing behind him, looking from behind his shoulder, waiting for him to open it.

As he opened it, a fucking plastic spider jumped out of it. It was stupid as hell, but I got scared as never. I jumped, and grabbed onto Kit's hand. To be accurate, on his sleeve. However, he didn't move a muscle.

"You okay?" he asked, clearly trying to hold back his laughter.

"Ha ha, very funny" I said. At that moment I realized I was holding him, I let go.

He just looked at me, saying nothing whatsoever.

"We should go to the rest of the group, and share the code with them" he said as he wanted to leave.

"Totally" I said going behind him.

"Do you guys have it?" I said as we exit the room, meeting almost everyone in the other room.

"The code you mean?" Yazmin asked at which I just nodded. "We have 3 _ _ 8"

"Well, we found 2, so it's 3 _ 2 8 now" Kit said as he shrugged his shoulders.

"So just one more, let's get to it" I said, as I started walking in a random direction. I entered the bathroom, which looked scary as hell already. At least there was electric working. I switched it on, and saw a cabinet above the sink.

I tried to open it, but it was on key.

"Guys!" I yelled, not knowing where everyone is. Doesn't look like someone heard me. It was a big place after all.

I tried to exit the bathroom, but all of a sudden I saw Kit walking nearby.

"Did you happen to find a key somewhere?" I asked, not too loud this time.

"A key?" he asked confused.

"The cabinet here needs it, I think there could be something we need. Maybe the last digit, you know" I said with a soft smile on my face.

"I'll look around, wait a second" Kit said as he went to the room next door.

Meanwhile, I looked around the bathroom, but found nothing at all.

"Found it!" Kit yelled as he was holding the key in his hand. Soon everyone came and stood in front of the bathroom.

"Okay, I'm opening it" I said as I did.
"The last digit is 7!"

"3 7 2 8" Yazmin said, looking around.

"The exit door are on lock though, we checked" Sebastian pointed out.

As we looked around a bit, we found a chest with a key in it.

Surprisingly, it was the key for the exit door. As we exited the room, we all sat down in the lobby from exhaustion.

"Now that was an escape room"
