it was the next day of the training camp. like yesterday, everyone was working their asses off. hinata and kageyama were still not talking to eachother. you could tell that the team was getting stronger, but no where near as strong as the other schools. yet.

now here you were, walking passed one of the gyms late in the evening when your name was called. "hey! you're l/n right? karasuno a manager?", you saw kuroo standing in the doorway. you nodded. "i heard that you used to play. wanna help us train?", "uh yeah sure why not", you responded, glancing to see fukurลdani's captain and setter as well as lev. "YOU USED TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL?!", bokuto asked. "yup" you responded plainly. "what position?", kuroo asked. "i was a libero and sometimes a wing spiker". bokuto's eyes started to sparkle. "i'm an ace too! i gotta see your spikes". you nodded, agreeing to show them.

you asked bokuto to spike a ball towards you, then akaashi would set for you and then you'd spike. a simple exorcise. by the end, everyone was amazed. you still were a bit salty that kuroo was able to block most of your spikes but he is a third year middle blocker for nekoma.

the entire day, kageyama's set had been off. you didn't think much of it but knew there was something on his mind. maybe 'cus of his fight with hinata? no it's not that.. he was playing fine yesterday. what the hell is it then? you thought to yourself. your entire walk back to the sleeping rooms you were zoned out and thinking about why kageyama was off. wait why do i care so much? you furrowed your brows. right.. 'cus i'm manager. yeah that's it. and in any case, i can't get to close to him. he'll remember me and then hate me again. before you knew it, you were inside the sleeping room laying on your mat with your hands crossed behind your head and you were staring at the ceiling. "uh f/n you alright?", hinata questioned you. you flinched at the sudden attention. "yeah just in my head".

for the remainder of the night, you couldn't get him out of your head. not only were you worried about him, but it was something else. STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM F/N. by this time, it was already extremely late at night. the other boys were asleep, so you decided to go use the restroom. you quickly glanced at the boys, making sure not to wake them up, noticing your eyes linger on the sleeping setter. you silently groaned. what the hells going on with me?
