For the first time in his life, Changbin was itching to leave his home studio.

Not necessarily because he loved - or hated - what he was working on. He was pretty neutral about the whole ordeal. He liked his work, no matter how tiring or boring it could be. His clients were kind - if not a little eccentric - and he had a lot of creative freedom.

But he was going camping tomorrow.

And not only that, but you were going to be there. And that took the entire experience from kind of exciting, to deeply desirable. To the point that he'd started dreaming about the woods, roasting marshmallows, even stupid things like pitching a tent. Of course, you were always there in his dreams, incredibly proud of every one of his accomplishments.

He couldn't wait.

He, along with the rest of the Seoul gang, was going to meet you and the other girls at the airport tomorrow. He wished he could speed up time so he could see you right now. If he could pay someone to do it, he would give them his entire savings.

And when he did see you, he wanted to show you just how excited he was. Just waving at you and giving you a big hug didn't feel like enough. He wanted to perform a gesture that would prove exactly how much he liked you. Because up until this point, it felt like you weren't taking him seriously.

Just like everyone else.

Not that he and his affinity for using humor even in unnecessary situations really helped his own case, but still. It hurt.

Pushing the bitterness from his mind, he vacated his seat in the studio and headed up to his bedroom to try and brainstorm ideas for when you landed tomorrow.

Thoughts flowed freely, so much so that he had to get his phone out and type them. Just thinking about you inspired him. He wanted to show everyone how he felt about you, because he'd never felt like this about anyone before. He wasn't sure if it was love persay. The two of you only spent two weeks together, followed by months apart, only speaking through text and FaceTime.

He missed you, and he wanted you to know it. But he also knew that these grand ideas couldn't possibly be carried out by him alone.

It was time to call in the troops.

Changbin set his phone down, sighing. All of his friends were certified nut jobs, but he couldn't deny that they always pulled through no matter what he needed.

He jumped out of bed, tugging on a plain black t-shirt and dark-wash jeans, ready for Alaska and the chaotic trio to arrive. Those three girls were absolute insanity, and he wasn't sure he was ready to spend an entire afternoon with them. And he was known as the craziest in his friend group, so that was saying something.

But despite their antics, he still felt a lightness in his heart.

Because he was doing all of this for you. And even though he was a bit of a class clown in all other aspects of his life, he was going to prove just how serious he was about his feelings.
