"You seem close with them," Callista pointed out as she sat on a bar seat.

"Yeah. That's because we're friends," I responded as I sat next to her. "Why?"

"Do you perhaps..." Callista trailed off with a slight smirk. "Like one of them?"

Now:

"Pftttt! Of course not! At least, not like that," I answered, stifling a laugh. "Why would you think that?"

"I noticed they seemed really protective of you last night," Callista responded. "They barely took their eyes off you."

"Maybe it's because I just got back from disappearing mysteriously for 3 years?" I noted, though I couldn't ignore Callista's perception. Despite her unusual behavior, she's quite attentive, noticing even the slightest things.

"I guess that's true," Callista replied as she shrugged. I let out a breath. If Mira had heard our conversation, I wouldn't be able to catch a break.

We helped Mira clean up the mess the guilds made in the bar. Drinks spills. Glass shattered. Tables and chairs broken. It honestly looked more like a fight instead of a party, but that's just how Fairy Tail is, and I love them for it.

After only a few minutes, we finished and made our way to Mira's hotel room. The bright stars sparkled in the dark sky as we walked carefully through the city. It was silent except for the sound of our heels clicking against the stone ground and the sound of our voices as we talked.

It was around 1:30 am when we reached Mira's room on the 3rd floor of the hotel. Erza, Levy, Wendy, and Carla were already there. Mira then took out her hotel room key, opening the door to reveal a large dark room with no light except for the moonlight that came in through the large glass double doors of the balcony. We quietly entered to avoid waking the sleeping Lisanna who laid in one of the queen beds.

We alternated turns taking our time in the bathroom to get ready. Brushing teeth, changing showering, or whatever they needed to do. Erza, Wendy, Carla, and Levy had already gotten ready in their own rooms before coming over.

Before Mira went to the bathroom to change and shower, she has stamped me and Callista with Fairy Tail's official mark. My usual pink on my normal spot while Callista had gotten a dark purple on her left hand.

I was the last one to shower. When I finished showering, I wrapped a towel around my body and walked to the sink, using the spare unused toothbrush Mira offered. Once I finished, I thought about what I wanted to wear.

Then I thought of the pajamas I wanted to wear as I held my hand out, a blob of light resting in my palm. When the light disappeared, there was a pair of underwear, a black tank top with the word 'dream', and a pair of white shorts with a star and constellation pattern.

I changed into my pajamas before turning off the bathroom light and entering the bedroom to find the lights turned on and Lisanna talking with the rest of the girls.

"Sorry Lisanna. Did we wake you up?" I apologized as I sat on the carpeted floor in between Callista and Levy.

"No, it's fine. I woke up and I wanted to join in the conversation," Lisanna replied as she shook her hands in front of her.

"What were you guys talking about?" I asked as I took some chips from the middle of the circle that the girls created.

"Boys," Mira giggled as I choked on my chips. Did Mira hear what Callista said back in the bar? Hopefully not... I really hope not.

"Why am I not surprised?" I sighed, accepting a water bottle that Callista handed me and taking a sip. "So Levy, how's your relationship with Gajeel?"

At my words, her entire face turned a deep reddish-pink. "W-What are you talking about?" Levy managed to say as she scratched the back of her neck, avoiding eye contact with everyone.

"Oh come on! I know you like him," I responded with a slight chuckle as the other girls giggled at Levy's reaction. "So you guys dating or what?"

"Actually, they are!" Mira chimed in with a squeal as Levy simply nodded, agreeing with Mira.

"Finally! If y'all didn't get together by the time I returned, I don't know what I would've done with you." I exclaimed with satisfaction. "What about you girls? Anyone special?"

"U-Uhm... Me and Jellal agreed to start dating once the magic council doesn't see him as a threat," Erza stammered with a deep blush.

"That's great!" I cheered. Erza's feelings for Jellal were quite obvious that even Natsu could figure it out. Actually... scratch that. Maybe not Natsu.

"Anyone else have luck in the love department?" I questioned, turning my gaze to the 3 girls and white-furred cat.

"Nope! Happily single!" Mira beamed with a sweet smile as I sweatdropped.

"N-Not really," Wendy stammered with a slight blush as I lift my eyebrow in suspicion.

"Not even a crush?" I questioned, knowing that Wendy wasn't telling the whole truth. She wasn't the best liar.

"W-Well, t-there's Romeo..." Wendy stuttered, making everyone to look in her direction.

"Oh?" Mira said with a mischievous smile. "Note to self: Set up Romeo and Wendy," she whispered to herself though everyone heard her.

"Lisanna?" I asked, turning my attention to the quiet youngest Strauss.

"Heh... I-I like Bickslow," Lisanna replied with a pink-tinted face. (Sorry to NaLi shippers. I just can't ship it :P)

"Awww. My little sister has a crush," Mira squealed as she squeezed Lisanna in a hug. "Now I'll hook you up."

"Hey Carla, have you given Happy a chance yet?" I asked as I glanced at the white cat on Wendy's lap.

"Of course not! That tomcat does not know the meaning of charming," Carla replied.

"You should give him at least a chance though," I responded as I shrugged my shoulders. "I can tell he really likes you."

"What about you Callista-san?" Wendy asked the dark-haired girl who was just 1 year older than her. (Wendy's 15 now because of the 3 years Lucy spent training. Callista's 16, which I said in the last chapter)

"Wendy, just call me Callista," Callista beamed with her usual playful smile. "And no. I don't like anyone."

I smirk. "What about those Meraki Parastin boys?" I questioned, leaning towards her. "You seemed awfully buddy buddy."

As I said that, I see Mira's eyes light up. "Harem!" She squealed as she stopped crushing Lisanna in a hug. "Do you like all of them?"

"N-No!" Callista urged, shaking her hands in front of her dismissively as a pink hue washed over her cheeks. "I only just met them today."

"But they're around your age and you became friends in one day," Levy pointed out as she tapped her chin to signify her thinking. "I've read a bunch of books where friends become lovers."

"W-Well..." Callista trailed off, trying to think of something to diverge the attention away from her. "What about Lucy? She seemed buddy buddy with those 4 dragon slayers and the demon slayer?"

My eyes widen as all the attention was turned to me. "W-What? No!" I stammered at the sudden attention.

"Natsu has been a lot closer to you than I ever was," Lisanna pointed out with a smile. (Lisanna's nice in this story. This wasn't meant to sound like she's jealous or anything. I just didn't know how to word it.)

"You did make Gray stop stripping for a while when you left for your training. It took him about a year and a half to go back to his old habits," Carla agreed as she nodded her head. "I honestly didn't think that was possible."

"Laxus shows his kind side to you not a lot of people see," Mira commented as she clasped her hands together. "You must be special!"

"You and Sting seem to have that classic hate to love relationships! Like the ones in the books!" Levy exclaimed, clapping her hands in a childish way. "My favorite kind of romantic relationship!"

"Rogue respects you, as any man should of his woman," Erza said sternly with a nod of her head.

"I think that's just Rogue-san's personality..." Wendy said as she sweatdropped.

"I like none of them," I countered, sighing as I reach for the bag of chips in the middle for a lil snackie. "Not romantically."

"Not even a smidge?" Mira questioned as she raised her eyebrow.

"Not even a smidge," I assured as I clean my hands of the chip residue.

"Awwwww, you're no fun," Mira whined then suddenly smirking. "But mark my words, Lucy. One day, I will get you a boyfriend."

"Good luck with that," I chuckled.

"It's 2:46 am," Erza told us as she looked at a clock that hung on the wall. "We should get to bed. We need to wake up at 9:30 am because the games start at 10:00."

"Alright. Good night everyone," Lisanna said as she walked over to a queen bed and tucked herself in.

"Good night!" We all said as we went to the places where we were supposed to sleep while Mira went to turn off the lights.

Mira rested next to her sister while Callista and I shared the queen bed closest to the balcony side. Wendy and Carla got the couch while Levy and Erza covered themselves with a blanket with a pillow under their heads as they slept on the carpeted floor.

I could hear the shuffled of my comrades, letting me know they were still awake as I stared out of the glass doors of the balcony with it being the now only source of light.

As the light of the stars shined through the glass, I concentrated on manipulating the light. I motioned my hand across the room as I laid in the bed, the starlight following my motions.

The light coming through the glass changed, emitting sparkles as a veil of light floated around the room, lighting the room dimly as it made my pink Fairy Tail mark clearer.

"Wow Lu-chan. That's amazing," I heard Levy say though I couldn't see her.

"Truly wonderful," Erza added as she shifted slightly to look at the streams of sparkling light above her.

"It's so pretty," Wendy chimed in with her usual kind voice.

"Absolutely beautiful," Lisanna complimented as she reached to touch the light veil. Her fingers went right through, the faint light following her fingers before returning to its formation.

"I'm glad I'm back with you guys," I whispered, but loud enough for everyone to hear me.

"We're glad you're back too."
