"Hey! Answer me!" Sting yelled. "Who are you?!" I glanced at the blonde nuisance over my shoulder before replying.

"Someone who'll avenge my friends."

Now:

• Time Skip ~ Day 3 (Rushed so I can get to 1 vs 1's faster) •

"Welcome to Day 3 of this year's Grand Magic Games!" Chapati exclaimed as the crowd roared with cheers. Right now, Callista and I were walking around the arena near the stands like last time, spectating the Domus Flau.

"I'm join by Mr. Yajima and Sorcerer Magazine model, Mirajane Strauss!" Chapati announced, causing the audience - mostly the guys - to go crazy, mainly because of Mira.

"Hello! I'm happy to be here," Mira giggled, showing her usual charming smile, making all the guys go even crazier.

"Now, let's take a look at the leaderboard," Chapati said as a lacrima-vision popped up in the middle of the arena, showing the guilds and what place they're currently at.

[ X796 Grand Magic Games ]

[ 1st ] Fairy Tail - 33 pts

[ 2nd ] Splitforce - 29 pts

[ 3rd ] Meraki Parastin - 20 pts

[ 4th ] Sabertooth - 19 pts

[ 5th ] Mermaid Heel - 14 pts

[ 5th ] Blue Pegasus - 14 pts

[ 6th ] Lamia Scale - 13 pts

[ 7th ] Quatro Cerberus - 6 pts

"Looks like Splitforce is catching up to Fairy Tail! They're just 4 points behind!" Chapati commented, earning some claps and some murmurs. Everyone was questioning the ways Splitforce was going about at winning.

"Fairy Tail and Splitforce have a solid lead against the other guilds. It's quite a gap between 2nd and 3rd place," Yajima noted, earning a giggle from Mira.

"I heard Sting temporarily gave the guild master position to someone else so he could compete in the Grand Magic Games as the reserve," Mira told them. "And since Yukino is still recovering, Sting might compete today, which could be a big problem for the other guilds."

"Well then the other guilds better watch their backs!" Chapati agreed as the lacrima screen disappeared. "Let's get onto Day 3's event! Maze Runner!" (Yes. I know I'm just naming dystopian books. I legit can't think of an event to put in this years games-)

The guild teams talked amongst themselves before sending out who would compete in the event.

"From Blue Pegasus, Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki!"

"From Mermaid Heel, we have Risley Law!"

"Meraki Parastin's representative is none other than Remo Ekon!"

"From the Lamia Scale guild, Jura Neekis!"

"From Quatro Cerberus, Warcry!"

"Spiltforce's competitor is Kairius Triton!"

"From Sabertooth, Sting Eucliffe!"

"From Fairy Tail, we have Gray Fullbuster!"

All the contestants crowded around Mato, who explained what the event was. "Maze Runner is self-explanatory! You run through a maze, but the maze changes every 5 minutes and there are large monsters that you may need to fight, kabo!" Mato explained, earning a few nods as a response. (If you know the basics of the Maze Runner book/movie, you already know what's up). "The goal is to be the first to reach the end! If you are defeated by a monster or another contestant, you will return to the start. While in the starting area, you won't be able to take or deal any damage, kabo! If you defeat another contestant, a faint trail to the end of the maze will appear for you for only 10 seconds! Now, to the maze, kabo!"

The contestant faded, then appearing in the middle of a large maze. It had 4 large entrances into the maze.

"3."

"2."

"1."

"Begin!"

Everyone then ran into the maze, running into different entrances and different directions. I was more so observing Kairius than the rest. I wanted to observe his fighting style, magic energy, etc. so I can get ready for my fight with Splitforce. Though, I don't actually know if my request was accepted...

He ran through the maze, turning a few corners before he ran into a tall monstrous beast. They didn't look too powerful. He did a few spells, defeating the beast. He then continued running aimlessly through the maze.

I glanced over to the lacrima-vision showing Jura. He was fighting a monster, but he easily overpowered the creature. He then walked through the maze, observing his surroundings to make sure he wasn't going around in a circle.

I grew bored of watching the match. No contestants had run into each other and the monsters were easy to defeat. The maze still had 2 minutes until changing. I figured I didn't need to observe Kairius' fighting tactics and that I'll just wing it during my fight.

"Hey Calli," I said, causing Callista to shift her gaze towards me. "Want to walk around for a bit?"

She simply nodded and followed me as I made my way into the near-empty hallways. "So where are we going?" Callista asked me as we continued walking through the halls, moving towards the exit.

"I figured I'd do some hand-to-hand combat training while we wait," I replied as we exited the Domus Flau. There were no guards. They were probably being lazy, so I figured we'd have an easy time getting back in.

"Alright. Let's train here," Callista responded as she lead me to a clear grassy area just in front of the arena.

"Okay. Ready?" I asked her as I got into my battle stance in front of her.

"Yup," she nodded as she got into her battle stance.

"Go." She rushed towards me, throwing a kick at me. I jump back, dodging the attack. She then spins and throws another kick towards my left side. I catch her foot and throw it, making her stumble back a little bit. She throws a right hook but I move my head, dodging another attack as I pull her arm towards me and kick the back of her right knee. She stumbles under my arm as I move forward to where she previously was and turn around to face her again.

She quickly regains her balance and uses her left foot to pivot and launch her self towards me. She lifts her right fist, trying to hit me with a punch, but I move to the side, dodging it again. I use my foot to trip her, causing her to flip forward. She lands on her feet and turned towards me. Before she could try landing another hit, we hear a familiar voice from the Domus Flau.

"Alright, that's Day 3's event! Let's take a look at the current scoreboard!" Probably Chapati.

"Let's go back now. The 1 vs 1's will start soon," I tell Callista as I secure my hood over my head. Callista simply nods as she follows me back into the Domus Flau, going back to where we were standing before.

We didn't make it in time to see the leaderboard. The first 2 opponents were already in the arena, getting ready for their battle.

The first battle was Lamia Scale's Sherria Blendy (She still has her magic here. Also, I don't know how to spell her name. There's Sherria, Cheria, Chelia, etc. but Sherria is what's on the wiki so I'm putting Sherria 😎) vs Kiran Mavra of Meraki Parastin.

Kiran had dirty blonde hair and green eyes. He was tall, looking around 18 years like the rest of his team. He wore a white shirt with an open white coat with 1 black strip on his right arm. His pants were black with a strip of red on the side with a brown belt.

As they fought, I realized Kiran used light-based magic, but I couldn't specify the exact magic. Kiran could also heal himself during the battle, making the battle hard for Sherria. He could probably heal others, hence why he went to Yukino after her battle yesterday.

Kiran was a pretty good wizard. Good enough to tie with Sherria, a sky god slayer, though I felt something off about him. Not that he was evil or anything, but that there was something more to him, but I pushed it aside since I don't know him, nor do I need to.

The second battle Rocker from Quatro Cerberus versus Rufus Lore of Sabertooth. I think it's pretty obvious Rufus would win, so I paid no attention to the battle.

The third battle was Millianna of Mermaid Heel against Jenny Realight of the Blue Pegasus guild. Jenny was a decent fighter, but she was no match for Millianna, who spends days hanging out with Erza and Kagura. In the end, Millianna won.

Now it's time...
