With the inked quill in hand, I started to think about everything that happened, from when I left, to meeting the god-kings, to now, and my hand just flew across the paper, writing down all the thoughts that floated in my mind.
Now:
• Time Skip ~ July 1st, 2:30 pm •
Today is my 18th birthday as well as my coronation. The party started at 5:00 pm, so I had some time to get ready.
I walked out of my room to simply go to the room across from mine. I think I know where everything is now after staying a week conscious in the castle. The room across from mine was where the royal designer made all the important dresses and garments. You'd be surprised to see who the royal designer is.
I walked into the room, the light painted walls with gold trims and the classic marble floor. In each corner of the room was a white marble pillar, a white single door on the left side of the room. In the middle of the room was a white raised pedestal to stand while the royal designer measures you or where you show off the dress they've made for you. Right over that pedestal were a few dangling lights shaped like diamonds and crystals that lit up with the flick of a switch.
On the right side of the room is a large window covered with silk curtains, though right now, they're pushed to the side to let the natural light in. The walls were lined either with tables covered with garment designs or golden metal racks and shelves filled with different fabrics and unique garments.
"Lucy!" Two childish voices rang. I glance over to my left a little bit and see the royal designers.
"Gemi! Mini! Is the dress ready?" I asked the Gemini twins. Yes, they're the royal designers, and they're surprisingly good at it. Since they can transform into anyone, taking measurements is easy and Gemini is one of the most creative zodiac signs.
Gemi and Mini looked more like their eclipse forms than their regular spirit forms, probably because it'd be hard to create clothing with tiny stubs as hands. Gemi was a young boy no taller than Wendy. His light blue short hair had two stray strands of hair sticking out and his dark navy blue eyes shown a mischievous glint. Out of the twins, he would look like he would make the most trouble. He wore a white collared, button-up short sleeve t-shirt with blue shorts and black sneakers. I guess you could say it was like a schoolboy outfit.
Mini was a young girl who was also no taller than Wendy or her brother, Gemi. She had medium lengthed light blue straight hair that reached her shoulders, two strands of hair sticking out on the top of her head, much like her twin. She also had the same navy blue eyes, but instead of mischievous glint, it was more like a shy, bashful look. She wore a matching outfit with her twin, a white collared, button-up short sleeve t-shirt but with a voluminous blue skirt that reached her knees, as well as black flats.
"Yes!" Gemi exclaimed.
"Come look!" Mini added. I followed them to a white mannequin in the corner of the room dressed in my coronation dress they had made for me.
It was a slim, long, flowy, sleeveless grayish-teal that touched the floor, the front bit being a little shorter than the rest, just barely showing the mannequin's legs. The grayish-teal was an ombre, lighter on top while it gets darker as it goes lower. There was a hole on the sides and middle of the dress on the torso, just above the stomach. It had a purple bra-like top with a pinkish-purple design on it, golden straps connecting the two cups. Around the waist of the dress was a golden strip with chains connecting the back of the golden fabric to the front. In the middle of the golden strip was a dangling golden crescent jewel.
Along with the dress, there were white ruffled fabric sleeves, not connecting to the dress itself (i don't know what they're called-), lined with gold with thin teal silk attached to it, making the silk flow freely. With the dress came a cape, on the outside was plain white with a golden fabric collar around the neck, but inside was a deep purple designed with stars, looking almost as if it could compete with the universe itself.
Set aside, near the foot of the mannequin were white, open-toed heels with a strip of teal around the shoe. (picture of dress, shoes - kind of -, + cape \/)
"It's beautiful! Thank you," I acknowledged as I touched the gorgeous dress in front of me.
"Well, go try it on!" Gemi exclaimed as Mini slowly and carefully removed the dress off the mannequin. Mini handed the dress to me as well as the matching pair of shoes and I walked to the single white door that was on the left side of the room.
I opened the door that led to a small changing room with a large mirror and a few racks. I walked in and closed the door behind me. I stripped out of my clothes, leaving me in my underwear and strapless bra. I slipped the dress on and slipped my feet into the 3-inch heels. I left my old clothes on the rack in the changing room and I left the small changing room to show the Gemini twins how the dress looked on me.
"Wow, you look beautiful!" Callista exclaimed. I guess she came to visit me when I was changing into the dress. She was already in her dress and her hair was let down and wavy. Her dress and small and simple to fit her style. The usual purple to fit her aesthetic with a yellow accent and light blue bow to go with it. She had long stockings reaching her mid-thigh and yellow cuffed small heeled boots.
"Thank you, Callie," I chuckled. "You look pretty too." Over a few days, I've gotten exponentially closer to Callista. I've learned a lot about her. Turns out she's a very skilled fighter and my personal bodyguard. She's also one of my best friends.
"Let's go get your hair done now!" Callista cheered as she grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the royal designers' studio. Once we left the studio, I immediately stopped her from going any faster so the dress isn't at risk of destruction.
From the instant we left the studio, we turned right. We then took the next right into the hallway towards the ballroom. Before reaching the ballroom, we turned right again into another hallway and open a white double door that led into where I can get my makeup and hair done for the party.
There was one window on the far side and one window on the right side of the room, both have silk curtains allowing natural light into the room. In each corner of the room was a marble pillar against the light painted walls trimmed with gold. Against the left side of the room was a table and mirror where the hairstylist does your hair. One the right side was a desk and mirror where the makeup artist does your makeup.
"Lucy! How would you like your hair, ebi?" I hear the hairstylist, Cancer, ask me.
"Whatever you think goes best with the dress," I simply answered as I walked over to the table and sat down in the matching chair, looking into the mirror. Cancer stood behind me, looking at how to approach this.
"You got it, ebi," he answered, quickly going to work. After what seemed to be minutes, he was finished. "How's this?"
My hair was wavy with slight curls at the ends of my hair. Some of my golden blonde hair fell over my bare shoulders as the curled at the end. Upon her head was a small silver tiara. It wasn't too bold but it was simple and cute. (just imagine this is her. only the hair and tiara \/)
"It's perfect. Thanks, Cancer," I praised as I got up out of my chair.
"Of course ebi. Pearl is waiting to do your makeup. You know how she takes her time, even with the simple stuff," Cancer bowed as he stepped to the side to allow me to walk to Pearl. Pearl was the makeup artist. A descendant of the Peacock constellation, Pavo.
Pearl was a tall woman in around her early 20s. She was pale with long pastel brown hair that seemed to sparkle. Her hair reached to hip as she wore a flowing long blue and green ombre dress with peacock feathers and glitter. She had deep blue sparkling eyes and a small simple golden necklace.
"Sit down, princess. This might take a while," Pearl giggled as I took a seat at her makeup table. The desk was filled with as much makeup could fit, ranging in many different colors.
• Time Skip ~ 4:58 pm •
"Done!" Pearl cheered as I looked at myself in the mirror. The look wasn't bold nor bright. It looked natural yet beautiful. There was a light blush on my cheeks and shiny light pink lipgloss on my lips. The mascara on my eyelashes made my eyelashes look longer and fuller but not fake. My eyeshadow wasn't a bold color and you could hardly tell the difference between my real skin and the makeup.
"Thank you Pearl," I praised as I stood up from the chair. "I'll see you and Cancer down in the ballroom later." I wave as I follow Callista out of the room.
"You have a few minutes to get to your party, Lulu. Cassandra won't be happy if you're late," Callista giggled as she skipped through the empty hallways.
"Since when is she ever happy," I joked as I followed Callista as she turned right, going to the balcony over the ballroom.
The ballroom was filled with many people, some still walking in, and music blasting through the large speakers on the side of the ballroom. Cassandra was on the staircase platform just before the foot of the stairs. Once she saw me and Callista, she waved us over.
She wore a long, flowy deep blue fishtail dress with mesh sleeves and gold trimmings. Her brunette hair was tied neatly into a slim high ponytail and she wore black heels with golden markings. At the tail of her dress her golden sparkles that shimmered in the light. On her head was a shiny gold headpiece with a light blue jewel in the middle. (dress and headpiece \/)
Callista and I made our way around the balcony, reaching the stairs. We've practiced this many times. Callista stepped down the stairs and I waited for Cassandra to announce my entry. As Callista reached the foot of the stairs and was on the ballroom's marble floor, Cassandra stayed on the staircase platform, just stepping to the side towards the stair railing.
"Ladies and gentlemen!" Cassandra announced, silencing the large ballroom. "Allow me to present to you the birthday girl and Aecronica's soon-to-be queen, Lucy Heartfilia!"
The ballroom was soon filled with claps as I stepped down the stairs, my cape gracefully following behind me. Once I reached the foot of the steps, Cassandra soon followed me and the music continued. Cassandra led me through the crowd as Callista followed behind me, introducing me to several new faces.
• STING'S POV •
Yukino, Frosch, Rogue, Lector and I just arrived in Magnolia to pay a visit to the residing magic guild, Fairy Tail. Yukino made it aware to us that it was the birthday of Fairy Tail's very special blonde celestial wizard. Rogue and I agreed in order to see Gajeel and Natsu to fight, of course, and Frosch and Lector came with us.
We were nearing the Fairy Tail guild hall when we noticed something a little off. It could be that there wasn't as much laughter in the guild hall anymore, nor were there any happy vibes coming from it. Everyone else seemed to notice it as well. Fairy Tail just didn't feel like itself.
We open the large wooden doors, making a big creaking noise as the guild hall doors were slowly pushed open. Everyone attention immediately snapped towards us with excitement evident on their faces, though it quickly left as soon as it came, and they returned to what they were doing before. Not that they were really even doing anything. They were just silent.
We walked over to the white-haired satan soul wizard who stood behind the bar counter. I remembered her from the Grand Magic Games 2 years ago (I forgot to mention that it's X793 but everyone's age remains the same from year X791). I think her guild mates called her Mira?
"Mira, where's Lucy? I came to say happy birthday," Yukino said cheerfully to the barmaid, instantly attracting the rest of the guild's attention. Speaking of birthday, shouldn't there be a party? Fairy Tail's famous for throwing crazy parties. I thought they would've jumped at the chance to throw a crazy awesome party.
In the corner of my eye, I see Natsu come up to us, looking pretty sad. "She's um... She's not here," Natsu muttered, looking at the ground to avoid looking at us.
"Okay. When's she coming back? You might still have some time to throw a party," I grin, thinking about the awesome party we'll plan. Immediately after I say those words, I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn to look behind me and I see Rogue, in all his emotionless glory, shaking his head at me. Huh? What's happening?
I turn back to Natsu and see him not bothering to answer me as he continues to look at the ground in front of him. What's up with him? He looks like he's gonna break down.
"A few years," I see Gray, the ice-make wizard, come up behind Natsu, answering for him.
"Huh?" I questioned. I still don't understand. I see Yukino looking down at the ground now. Lector and Frosch were immediately silent. What am I not getting?
"She's not coming back for a few years," Gray simply replied back in a serious tone, making direct eye contact with me. "She left Fairy Tail."
Oh.
• LUCY'S POV + Time Skip ~ 8:5 pm•
It's now 1 hour until the party ends. In the past couple of hours, I've met many new people. Some of important Aecronican status, some from completely different planets. I've learned that we have important alliances with a few planets, including Earthland, though Earthland doesn't have an official representative, the magic council was the closest thing. They sent 4 representatives. Them being Draculos Hyberion, Wolfheim, Warrod Sequen, and Jura Neekis. I was ecstatic to see some old faces again.
I rushed through the crowd of people in the ballroom to make my way to one of the flower vases on a table against the wall. I grabbed the golden orange symbolic flower from the vase and made my way back to the middle of the ballroom, immediately looking for Jura.
Once I spot him, I carefully make my way towards him. "Jura!" I exclaimed through the crowd.
He looked away from the conversation he was in to look my way. "Princess Lucy," he chuckled. "Good to see you again. Was there something you forgot to tell me earlier?"
I immediately hand him the golden flower. He takes it hesitantly and looks at me with confusion. "Can you give that to Fairy Tail when you get back to Earthland?" I asked as I look at the shining flower in his hands. "Kind of like a way to tell them I haven't forgotten about them."
He nodded as he understood where I was coming from. "Yeah of course, Princess," Jura agreed.
"Ladies and gentlemen! It is now time for the coronation ceremony! Will her highness, Lucy Heartfilia, please come up?" Cassandra announced, making the formerly loud ballroom silent once again. She was on the staircase platform that she was on when she announced my entry with Callista and Leo at her sides. Leo looked exactly like Loke, due to him wearing a black, clean suit.
"That's your cue," Jura whispered as I nodded. I slowly made my way through the crowd, ending up at the foot of the steps, my cape dragging up the steps behind me. I climb up to the 2nd to last step, just before Cassandra, Callista, and Leo, and I stay there, just like I practiced. The crowd is silent as Cassandra speaks.
"Are you, Lucy Heartfilia, willing to take this sacred oath?" Cassandra questioned, her voice booming through the silent room.
"I am," I pledged confidently.
"Do you solemnly swear to protect Aecronica with all your heart until death?"
"I do."
"Do you solemnly swear to govern Aecronica with order and fairness? To put the well being of Aecronica over your own?"
"I do."
"Do you promise to keep to your word as long as the stars shine above?"
"I promise."
Cassandra smiles as she takes a golden chalice from Leo's hands. "Now. Drink this sacred liquid of the divine gods themselves, made from the sacred flower, ambrosia," Cassandra told me as she held the golden chalice up to my lips. I opened my mouth, consuming the golden drink as I felt power course through my veins.
"With this drink of ambrosia, you are now one of the holy divine gods." What? No one said anything about me being a god.
Cassandra carefully takes my tiara off my head and places it on the velvet pillow in Callista's hands, replacing the golden crown that once sat there. Cassandra placed the golden crown upon my head as she started to finish up the ceremony. I turned around to face the crowd on the ballroom's marble floor.
"And with that, let me introduce to you, Lucy Heartfilia, Goddess of the Stars and the new queen of Aecronica!"
