The phone rang and rang and rang, until I heard a man on the other end of the line.

"Hello?" he said

"Joe Y/l/n?" I asked

"Yes who is this?" he replied

"Its Y/n dad" I sighed

"Y/n?" he asked enthusiastically

"Yeah!Aunt kay said you wanted to meet" I felt a smile form on my face

I haven't heard his voice this clearly for years.
He was always drunk or high so his voice would be muffled and rough, but now?
Now I heard my loving dad, the dad i lived and looked up to years ago before my mom died.
When my mom died it took a while for my dad to realize what happened and when he did it all went downhill.

"Yes! Yes! N/n I missed you. I'm sorry, SO sorry and-"

"dad we'll talk about that later now where do you want to meet?" a bigger grin was now on my face

"I don't know. Where do you want to meet?" he asked

"Um well there is this diner called the hub here in point place" I said

"Great you want to meet at 7?" he asked

"What about now? Do you have something now?"

I couldn't wait longer.
I waited for this moment for a few months now.
The moment my dad would apologize and we would talk again like we used to a long time ago.
And it finally came.

"I can do that! Absolutely! Meet you there" I heard his laugh from the other side of the line

"See you there" I hang up the phone and rushed to the basement to announce the news to the gang

I opened the basement door and no one was there.

I was kind of disappointed because I wanted someone to Express my enthusiasm to but i guess i can be happy all by myself, and soon with my sober dad.

I walked over to the hub and waited when I saw a white Lincoln pull up next to me.

The door opened and there he was.

My dad stood there wearing a clean button up shirt and nice pants and his hair styled.

David harbour as Joe y/l/n (your dad)

He walked up to me smiling.

I started walking towards him as well.

"Dad?" I asked feeling my stomach twist in knotts

"Y/n"he sighed happily pulling in a tight hug.

I haven't felt like this in what seems like forever.
My dad was back and I was happier than ever.

"Come on let's go inside so we can catch up huh?" we walked side by side in the hub.

"So how's life going, do you have a boyfriend or something?" he asked while we were eating.

I haven't seen him in a few months or so but I felt so comfortable around him like he never left.

"Well I have a boyfriend now, his name is Steven and he is a very good guy. I think you'll like him!" I smiled

"I sure will. Now where have you been leaving since you know"

"I'm living with a friend at the moment her name is donna"

"N/n we can start over again we can live together again. You and me. I will make you proud" he said smiling

"look dad um" I stuttered

"What?" he asked with concern and maybe disappointment in his voice, I couldn't tell.

"I want you to promise me something"

"Anything"

"I don't want you to go back to abusing alcohol or doing drugs or anything. I don't want to go through that again. I want you to promise me that you will never leave me again"

I felt a hot tear run down my cheek and I quickly wiped it away with my sleeve

"Y/n I need you to trust me. I'm done with that now. I will not hurt you again and I will never ever leave you again because you are the only thing left for me. You are my daughter and I need to protect you, I will protect you" he said hugging me

"I missed you dad" I tried to fight back the tears building up in my eyes.

"I missed you too"

We talked some more and we went our separate ways.

He told me he lived in an apartment in kenosha, so I could go visit him if I wanted to.

I went home feeling exhausted from this emotional ride I got into without realizing it. I wanted to talk to someone but no one was around so I got ready for bed.

My head hit the pillow and that's when I realized how tired I was.

The next day I got ready and headed to the basement.

"Hey" I waved walking in the basement

I saw jackie sitting on the edge of the couch on the right side of Eric, and donna sitting on Steven's chair. Eric was making some sort of star wars model.

"Hey N/n. Where were you last night?" asked donna

"I met up with my dad, oh donna I have so much to tell you" I giggled sitting next to eric on the couch

"Okay my afternoon is free so we have time to discuss this later" she smiled at me and I smiled back

Then kelso walked into the basement

"Hey guys listen tomorrow I have this police test on interrogation techniques and I was wondering if I could practice on someone. Jackie how about you?" he said gesturing to jackie

"Oh well no this is your first time and you're going to need someone much easier than me. Try Y/n" she giggled looking at me

"I hate you" I mouthed at Jackie

"That's good thinking Ms.N/n If that's indeed your real name what did you do on the date of yesterday" he walked back and forth in front of me

"A lot of things" I smiled

At the moment I was holding a popsicle and he took it and through it on the other side of the room.

"What the actual hell kelso?" I yelled

"Don't worry N/n I'm playing good cop, bad cop, he's the bad cop but he's gone now" he said patting my back

"As well as my popsicle you moron" I hit him in the arm

"Now good cop is here to take care of you. How are you doing buddy?"

Red is right when it comes to Kelso, he is a dumbass

"this is stupid" I got up to get another popsicle

He threw that one as well.

"You are dead!" I yelled hitting him about a million times on the arm

Then I left and headed upstairs to the kitchen

Everyone was gathered around the table

Red, Steven, kitty, bob and pam.

I walked over to steven and sat next to him.

"I want to thank you for making me feel so welcome I feel like the only guest at an inexpensive backwoods hotel" Pamela giggled

She touched Steven's shoulder and he jumped in suprise. He seemed off.
He was never tense, after all he is the zen master.

"Steven you seem so tense" said pam

"Oh red I was going to get you a gift for helping with the move but then I figured, Nah" bob broke the awkward atmosphere in the room

"Dont mention it bob, don't mention anything about that day ever again!" said red smiling uncomfortably.

He looked tense as well.
What's wrong with them?

"Why it was a pretty good day, nothing got broken, nothing got hurt, you too even got to see pam topless!" said bob

"You saw what?" I frowned looking at steven

Me and kitty had the same facial expression and feeling, disappointed and anger

"Yeah first time I saw them I was speechless too" giggled Bob

"Stop talking bob, please" I said

HYDES POV

Red and I were in a very sticky situation.
Y/n is mad at me and kitty looks like shes about to explode.

Then Red started talking.

"All right, I admit that we saw Pam's...them but it's not like we planned it"

"Although our timing couldn't have been better" I admitted

Y/n looked at me like she was going to murder me. I'm not going to lie i am scared of that look.
She could actually kill me if she wanted to.

"Yeah such good timing huh?" she smiled sarcastically

"Red how could you?" kitty finally spoke

"kitty we just opened the door and there she was what was I supposed to do rip the eyes out of my head?" yelled red

"Oh dont feel bad you guys this isnt the first time my body has caused a fight, one time I caused a riot on a topless beach in Venezuela. Imagine what you saw only all tanned and oiled" pam said

"Dont you dare imagine that steven" Y/n told me

"She told me to!" I told her and she punched me in the arm

"well I hate to let the cat out of the bag and then leave but looks like that's exactly what we are doing" bob laughed

Pam and bob left and Y/n spoke one last time before leaving.

"We'll talk about this later" she raised an eyebrow and left.

Y/n POV

Me and kitty went over to the pinciottis to talk to pam because I was furious both at pam and steven.

"I'm going to talk some sense into that woman. Who does she think she is? I could totally kill her right now" I told kitty

"We also need to tell her that she should start wearing pantyhose, this is not Las Vegas!" said kitty

"Definently she should understand that her actions have consequences and that if my boyfriend sees something like that again I-"

I opened the door, that lead to their bedroom, and before I could finish my sentence we saw a naked bob sitting in the middle of the room facing the door.
After that he made it even worse by saying
"Whoopsy-doosy"

We both screamed our lungs out and started running.

Me and kitty were sitting on the couch more traumatized than ever.

"What do you think he meant by 'whoopsy-doosy'" I asked kitty

"Not here...Toyota" she answered

we ran to the Toyota in the driver to see...

Steven and red already in it.

"What a great suprise huh?" I looked at them suspiciously

"what are you two doing out here" asked kitty

"what are you doing here?" asked steven

"Yeah? Eric? I'm coming" I found a terrible excuse to leave and run in the house
