After a long day of work, you finally get to go back home 'Geez... Who would've known that one day all my energy is wasted by tons of working for hours' You thought as you look out the window in the limousine. It was silent till your driver broke it "You're not as talkative as usual, did something happen?" He asked. You sigh "Nothing much, just more work to the point that all I want to do is lay down and sleep in my bed" You answer "Ah, it seems that it was the busy day huh?" You nodded and the silence was back. After a few minutes passed and there was nothing much to do, sure you have your phone but there's barely anything new to scroll through. Till the vehicle slow down "Welp, there's a traffic. Guess we'll be here for a while" The driver said "Seriously? How could this day get any worst..." You said, clearly annoyed "Don't worry. Sooner or later we'll get back" "Later is the better word for this, I'm not trying to keep dragging the mood down but you're sort of bad at trying to brighten up the mood Lucas" "Oh come on! I'm trying" You roll your eyes before looking out the window again only to see a box in an alleyway moving a bit. Now thar caught your attention "... Lucas" Upon hearing his name, Lucas turn around "What's up?" "Stop the vehicle, I think I saw that box move" Lucas did as told and stop the limo to let you check. You open the door and went out to the alleyway where the box is, on closer inspection you can see that yes the box is moving 'It could just be a rat inside... But something tells me is something else' You thought before putting both of your hands on the side of the box and lift it to reveal seven animals, each of them were different from each other "... Huh??" You mumbled, confused but then you had a thought 'Now that I think about it... I never had a pet before, my parents never got me one cause they're always so busy and when I asked they always answer the same thing... 'Do we look like some caretakers to stupid animals?' Now that's just cruel' Without a second thought, you scoop the seven into the box and went back to the limo "Oh good you're back, the people behind us don't want to wait any longer" Lucas said once you're back inside "Also... What's that?" He asked once he notice the box in your arms "Animals I found in the alleyway, I wanted one ever since I was young" You answer "Huh, those look a bit odd. But I'm not stopping you" Lucas said before driving off to your home.

Once you two reached your home, well mansion to be exact, Lucas got out to open the door for you "I'll meet you in a bit, I'll go park the limousine" He said "Alright then, and since it's almost night you can stay if you like" "No, no, I'll need to get back. I have a wife and soon, kids" "Make sense, don't want your wife thinking you're cheating" You then walk inside.

Once you're inside, you heard footsteps coming up to you "Welcome back Mr. L/n, what is it you have there?" The maid greeted and questions "Ah, I found some animals in the alleyway. If it isn't much, can you and the others clean them?" You answer as you give the box to he maid "Of course! I'll let you know once we're done, and what would you like for dinner?" "F/f with F/d, I need something to get my mood up" The maid nodded before walking off. You proceed to walk back to your bedroom.

You put in more comfortable clothes and put your work clothes in the basket before getting into bed 'Man, it's been a long day... Wonder what the others are doing' You thought before taking out you're phone and went to the group chat.

You chuckled upon seeing that "They're always so chaotic and often act like dorks, but they're my dorks" You mumbled before someone knocked "Mr. L/n! The animals are clean" The maid behind the door said "Coming, coming" You put your phone aside and went out to see your new pets.

Once you step inside, the maids turn their attention to you "Mr. L/n! Glad to see you well, we got them clean and they're smelling like brand new" One of the maids said as she lifts a bunny in her hands "I would like to see them" You said as you walk over to them. The maid with the bunny gave said bunny to you "Aw, soft like other bunnies are. What are the others?" You asked "Well, this one seems to be an tiger" The blonde maid said as she look over at sleeping tiger "This one over here seem to be a leafy sea dragon, it's pretty rare to find one" The blue haired maid said next "This one is... A cat? I don't know it's pretty hard to tell what it is cause of the veil and it won't let me lift it" The brown haired maid said, unsure on what the animal is "Well this one is a peacock, it's pretty cute" The purple haired maid said "This one is maybe a bobcat since it's pretty scared of us" The red haired maid said as she looks at the animal who is under the table "This animal... Is very odd, it seems to be a bit of mixture of bear, elephant, rhinoceros, ox and tiger" The black haired maid said as she looks at her side to find the animal looking at you "Weird... But anyway since I have a few months of break I don't mind watching them while you guys are busy" You said "Thank you. Oh! And dinner is served" The blonde said before leading you to the dining table.

"Thanks for the meal, it help brighten my mood a little" You thanked the butler before going to check your new pets 'Now that I think about it... They don't have names do they?' You thought once you notice the seven sitting there, well at least not for the leafy sea dragon, but when you came in, their attention is suddenly on you. The bunny went over and look up at you "Hey there! You uh... You guys don't have names huh?" You greeted the bunny as you knee down. You heard the tiger growl a little "Is that a no?" The tiger stopped growling and the peacock chirp "Ah, I see. Wonder what you're names are but not like I can know anyway" You mumbled. The seven look at each other before they heard you walking away "Well, is late. I'll see you guys in the morning" You said and closed your bedroom door. Once they're sure you've gone to sleep, they turn to their human form "Does master and his maids don't know about yokai?" The Hinoenma asked "If I remember correctly... Yes, they do know but didn't met one before" The Inugami answers. The Byakko scoffs "I won't lie, I'm actually surprised that master didn't have a second thought when bringing us in" "Maybe he has a soft spot for animals" The Shōjō guessed "Well whatever! Now we gotta surprise him! After all he still doesn't know he became our master" The Suzuhiko Hime said, excited to finally introduce himself "Surprising him may end with him having a heart attack..." The Hahakigami mumbled "Let's not sit around and talk, we'll go introduce ourselves once morning hits" The Baku told everyone. They all nodded. So they went to your bedroom and slept till morning.
