Casey's Pov

Shiro, Sting-san, Yukino-san, mom, dad, and I were on our way to the train station so we could get to Sabertooth... I already felt sick.

"Do we have to... take the train..?" Shiro whined.

"Don't get me wrong, I hated Blake implanting lacrimas in us. But the least he could do was implant an anti-motion sickness one..." I added.

Yukino-san and mom both giggled and the other two... umm... they looked a bit dead from the mention of a train. On our way we heard a few murmurs about us.

"Aren't they from Silver Ravens?"

"Shh! They're dragon slayers, they might hear you!

"Chill! The girl is kinda hot..."

With that comment, Shiro grabbed me by my waist and froze them with his ice magic... just a little...

Okay, maybe a lot. Behind us we heard both our moms laugh, we turned around to look at them.

"Are you sure you two aren't dating?" Yukino-san asked.

"Positive!" I say. I turned to look at Shiro, "Also, that was so unnecessary!"

My mom laughed, "Casey honey.. If you two aren't dating, why is his arm around you most of the time?"

I felt my face heat up a little, "I- he's clingy."

"I'm clingy," Shiro repeated in agreement.

My dad separated me and Shiro. "If you hurt her, I will beat your a— young man."

Sting-san dragged him back and scolded him about 'young love' or whatever.

We got on the train and almost immediately got hit by nausea. Both dads were being held by their wives while I tried to endure it and pretended I was fine.

Shiro ended up falling asleep on me, I was already used to him leaning on me. What made me a little uncomfortable was that our parents were there.

We were walking towards the guild, I was pretty quiet until my mom decided to say something.

"So, when did you find out?" She asked.

"What do you mean?" I responded.

My dad raised an eyebrow, "We know you're a smart girl Casey, we know that you figured it out way before the others."

"Well..." I stated.

—Flashback—

Shiro and I got some snacks and were making our way back to the stands, I felt a tug on my hair. My ponytail was undone.

I turn around to find some kids from Sabertooth.

"Hmm? If my memory serves well, this looks like Ms. Kagura's headband," one of them said.

"Hey! Give that back!" I demanded.

"Hmm... Kagura-san has her's on though Jaden..." the other one reassured.

"Hey, we'd like to do this without any fighting. So if you could just give it back—" Light started to say.

"That's the only thing that I have of my mother. Give it back please," I slightly pleaded.

They were about to say something until they heard a demanding and stern voice from behind them.

"You two! Just what are you doing?" She asked.

"Nothing!" They both squeaked. They threw my ribbon up in the air and bolted, it landed in front of me. I went to pick it up, but another hand ended up getting to it first.

It was a woman with dark purple hair and eyes that looked just like mine. There were three others with her, a man with red eyes, another man who was blond, and a woman with white hair that has a hint of light blue. "Where... did you get this..?" She asked.

"It's the last thing I have of my parents, may I please have it back? We really shouldn't be talki—"

"Right, sorry. Have a nice day you two," she interrupted as she handed my accessory back.

Light and I both walked away in silence until he spoke up, "That's your mom?" He asked.

"I think so..."
