"I don't know what to do without you..I'm sorry. Will you forgive me?"

"Airi are you feeling better?", her mother asked in a worried tone while patting her head. "No mom..I don't feel like going to school today. Will you tell the teacher?", Airi asked. "Sure sweetie. Get some rest. I'll come back later.", her mom smiled lovingly and closed her room door behind her.

"Airi isn't at school again. I hope she's ok..", Mary sighed while eating her lunch. There were no longer 5 people at their table. It's only 3 now.

"I heard Sugawara ended things because of the kiss..", Ritsuki mentioned. "Poor Airi..they were so happy..", Mary whined.

Kara was quiet. She stood up without a ward and angrily walked off. She headed to the empty classroom and sat down on her seat. "Why is no one thinking about my feelings. Kenji kissed Airi and all she cared about is stupid Sugawara. Now everyone is sorry for her and what about me? My boyfriend lied to me for 2 years and my best friend couldn't care less..", Kara murmured under her breath and tears came running down her cheeks.

"Kara! Hey! Are you alright?", her two friends came after her. "I don't get it. It's always about Airi! My boyfriend only dated me for her and she didn't even try to comfort me! Instead she only cared about stupid Sugawara!", Kara cried.

"We're sorry..", Mary quietly said and pulled her friend into a hug. "It will be alright. I'm sure you're both having a hard time and I'm certain that Airi will come to apologize to you when she's ready. Give her some time.", Ritsuki smiled and handed the crying girl some candy.

Airi picked up her phone and clicked on her sister, Aoi's contact.

»Hello?«

»Aoi I fucked up. What do I do?«

»What do you mean? What happened?«

»You know Kara and Kenji right?«

»Your two friends? Yes I know them. The couple right?«

»Yeah..well not anymore. I went to watch Kōshi's game a couple days ago and then Kenji dragged me away and just kissed me. And Kōshi saw it. I wanted to go after him but Kenji wouldn't let me and he confessed to me and then Kara heard it and she slapped him and then she dragged me away. And I told her I have to talk to Kōshi and then she was angry that I wasn't by her side. Kōshi ended things with me and Kara is mad..Now both of them probably hate me..«

»Well maybe you should apologize to Kara. She must be really sad. Because imagine you were in her situation. You would want her to stick by your side, wouldn't you?«

»Yeah..but still. Sugawara is important too!«

»Yes but when you two were in middle school, you promised each other, no boy would ever be more important than each other, didn't you?«

»Yes..«

»So apologize to her. I'm sure she will forgive you. Don't wait any longer, or your friendship might not be the same as before.«

»And what do I do with Kōshi?«

»Get him to listen to you. I'm sure Kara will help you.«

»Alright. Wish me luck!«

»Good luck«

»Bye bye«

Airi walked into the classroom feeling extra nervous. Kara was sitting at her table and was busy with her phone. Airi walked up to her best friend and gently tapped her on the shoulder.

Kara turned around and the sparks in her eyes disappeared as she saw Airi. "Oh. It's you.", she coldly greeted Airi.

"I'm sorry Kara. I shouldn't have gone to Kōshi. You are much mire important to me. I really messed up.."

Kara was quiet

"I don't know what to di without you..will you please forgive me?"

Kara looked at her and slowly, a smile on her face appeared. "I'm sorry too. I forgive you. Of course I forgive you! What would I do without you?", Kara gave Airi a relieved smile before the pulled each other into a tight hug.

"I still don't know how to sort things out with Kōshi..", Airi sighed while the 3 of her friends sighed as well, seeing her so depressed. "Well maybe he's not worth it if he didn't want to hear you out?", Mary said.

"But I think he was just really overwhelmed..I mean I would be kinda mad too if it was my girl..", Ritsuki budged in. "Yeah no but you don't have a girl.", Kara said and chuckled a bit. "Okay. Rude.", he side eyed his friend.

"Try talk to him again. Do it before he leaves for tokyo. He might find someone there and forget about you completely.", Mary warned the overwhelmed girl.

"But he won't reply to my texts and he didn't even look at me when I walked passed him in the hallway!", Airi cried.

"We'll figure it out. I'll try to talk to him. Maybe he will listen to me!", Kara said.

A few days have passed and Kara got her littlesister, Hitoka to call Sugawara aside during practice.

"What is it Yachi? What do you need me for?", the grey haired boy asked the little blonde, as they walked out of the gym.

"I'm sorry..but she forced me!", Hitoka quickly said and pointed at her older sister who was waiting right outside and ran back into where she came from.

"Sugawara let's have a chat.", Kara said and came nearer. "Sorry but I have to practice.", he said in disinterest and turned around to walk back into the gym.

"So you don't want to sort things out? You're just going to run away like a coward? Your girlfriend is hurt. She's been trying to talk to you. Trying to explain things to you and you just keep pushing the problem aside! Come on and act like a grown man and stop running away from your problems!", Kara yelled at him angrily.

He stopped his movement and slowly turned around. "Yes you're right I don't want to sort things out. It's better than being hurt even more. I don't think that I'm wrong for trying to get over someone who broke a promise..", he said in a shaky voice and entered the gym, slamming the door shut behind him.

"That bastard..", Kara murmured to herself angrily.

"Where have you been Suga? We're all waiting for you. Go and warm up already.", Daichi said as he saw his vice captain enter the gym.

Kōshi kept his eyes glued to the floor and started to warm up. "Maybe I should try and hear her out.. If Kara wasn't mad at her, maybe she didn't want to kiss him.. Maybe I just misunderstood something..", he murmured to himself.

He felt an arm around his shoulder and looked over to his friend. "Girl problems?", Daichi asked. Kōshi nodded. "Tell me after practice. And now pull yourself together. We'll be in tokyo in 3 days.", Daichi said and hit the boy on his back.

"I see..but I think you should hear her out.", Daichi said after hearing Kōshis story. "But I don't know..maybe I'll be even more hurt after that..", the grey haired boy sighed.

"So? Come on it's a high school relationship. How bad can that heartbreak be. Be a man and face you problems.", Daichi punched Kōshis arm. "That's exactly what Yachi said..", Sugawara sighed. "Yachi?", Daichi asked confused. "The older Yachi. Kara. Airi's best friend and Kenji's ex girlfriend. Kenji is the one who kissed Airi.", Suga explained.

"Then isn't it obviously that it wasn't Airi's fault? I mean her best friend would've been super mad if she was the one who kissed him, but Kara ist defending Airi so that means it's probably not Airi's fault.", Daichi said.

"I'll think about it..bye see you tomorrow.", Suga said as they arrived in front of his home.

Daichi nodded and waved him goodbye, before Kōshi entered the door to his house.

i'm so sorry for the slow update! I just wasn't really feeling like writing but  I pulled myself together today and finished it!!
I've already written the next chapter but I'll make some final changes so give me some time. Also, next chapter will be the last one but i'll probably upload an extra chapter afterwards!
