Bruce laid quietly in his bed, his face shoved in his pillow. 'Sick', my fucking ass. He frowned, slowly rolling over, staring at the ceiling.

Why did he even think this would work? Vance was hot, so he could have anybody he wanted. Why would he want someone as plain and boring as Bruce?

Bruce brought his sleeve up to wipe away a few tears that threatened to fall. He knew this was all too good to be true. He wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Vance called and told him it was all a joke, or maybe even a dare.

Bruce sat in silence for an additional few minutes before his door creaked open. "Bruce, you awake?" Bruce immediately sat up, watching as Vance slowly shut the door back.

He narrowed his eyes at the blonde, "What." He grumbled. Vance made his way across the room, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Are you mad?" Vance asked suddenly.

Bruce snorted, "No shit." He crossed his arms, staring at the blonde. And he'd be damned to see the slight smile that Vance attempted to hide. "What's so funny." Bruce hissed.

Vance chuckled a bit, shaking his head. "Bruce," he said, smiling, "The woman at my house? That's my mom." Bruce froze, staring at Vance wide-eyed.

Slowly, his cheeks heated in embarrassment. "Oh," Vance laughed, "Yeah, 'oh'." Bruce pouted. "W-well, I didn't know!"

Vance stared at Bruce for an additional few seconds, before  bringing his hand up to the ravens face, gently wiping away a lingering tear that resided on his face. "You were crying?" Bruce shrugged.

Vance sighed, bringing his hand down to cup the boy's cheek. "Bruce, I swear I'd never do anything to hurt you. Especially cheat on you. You're literally everything I want in a person. You're kind, beautiful, and you care, Bruce. You actually care about other people. It's hard to find people like that, anymore." He said softly. Genuinely.

Bruce felt tears well back up in his eyes. "..I am?" Vance chuckled a bit, wrapping his arms around the raven, pulling him into a hug, "Yeah," he said, giving the raven a quick peck on the cheek, "You are."
