"People were standing around the counter talking and chatting. Your eyes landed on a familiar face."

Tetsurō Kuroo.

"Hey y/n!" He yelled from across the room and waved at you. 

He had been one of your best friends in junior high but you both went your separate ways during high school.

You walked over to him and he handed you a cup with some liquid in it.

"Does this have any alcohol in it?" You asked looking at the contents of the cup.

"Not that I know of." He laughed and took a drink of his own. "Just try it Y/n, it's good."

You were skeptical but looking around, everyone seemed to be drinking it. Eventually you gave in and took a small sip. It was sweet, like a Capri sun. But also fizzy?? Either way it was good.

"Good right?" Kuroo said.

"Yeah it is!" You laughed. You promised him that you would catch up with him later and went off to find your own friends.

You wandered around and eventually found Hinata, Tsukishima, Noya, and Yaichi in the backyard playing beer pong. Well the beer was actually Apple juice. Hinata and Noya were playing each other and whining whenever they lost but reluctantly taking the shot.

Tsuki was in the corner just observing and making the occasional comment and Yaichi was cheering the others on.

When you walked over, Noya took noticed and called you over. Well more like yelled.

Hinata whipped around and then stared to run to you, he almost tripped in his tipsy state. You giggled and he engulfed you in a hug being extra careful not to spill his drink.

"Y/N!! I didn't think you you come!!" He yelled exitedly. You followed him and stood beside Yaichi.

"What's that?" She asked pointing to the cup in your hand.

You paused for a second thinking. "Don't really know if I'm being totally honest.... It's good though!"

"Can I try a sip?"

"Sure!"

She took a sip and her eyes widened with delight but then squinted as if she was thinking really hard about something. She handed you back the cup.

"You're not wrong about that being good but.."

"But what?"

"But.. I think that's... vodka..."

"Vodka?!"

"Well maybe I can't be too sure, bike only had vodka once. My aunt gave me a sip when I went to visit last year."

"Oh.. Well I'm almost done with this cup so if there's no turning back now." You awkwardly laughed.

You finished what was left in your cup then discarded it into a nearby trash can.

10 minutes past and Hinata is now running around rubbing his victory into Nishinoya's face, who was now sulking on the floor.

You laughed with Yaichi and when you took a step back you started to get a little dizzy.

"Damn I hope this is from laughing too much and not whatever was in that drink." You thought to yourself.

You checked the time on your phone and saw you got a text from Iwaizumi. Your heart fluttered at the sight of him name on your screen.

Iwa-Chan 💙🏐: Y/n where r u??

Iwa-Chan 💙🏐: Oikawa said you arrived but I can't find you

You: outside watching Apple juice pong 😂

Iwa-chan 💙🏐: what

You: Nvm, Im outside

Iwa-chan 💙🏐: cool I'm in the living room, come join me!! I haven't seen you in forever

You: Iwa it's been only a week!

Iwa-chan💙🏐: so what, I missed you today :(

You: ill try and find you ok :)

You told Yaichi you were going to talk with Iwaizumi and she only snickered which you just rolled your eyes.

The first few steps were ok but you soon became very dizzy and had to grab onto a chair outside for balance.

Somehow you made it to the living room without making a complete fool of yourself.

"Shit! My sisters gonna kill me when she finds me tomorrow with a hangover!" You grimaced to yourself.

Waking into the room you saw Lev and Bokuto laughing and a few other people just wandering in and out.

Then you saw him.

An: heyyy :D finally I'm updating this.  If all goes as planed there will probably be only one more chapter after this, maybe two if I'm feeling bold . After that... some oneshots or imagines maybe. Of course with our favorite boy Iwa <3 but some really good news... I got tickets to the bts concert!  🥳 Sorry to those who didn't get as lucky as I was
