CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX - STRANGE RELATIONS

𝓣𝙰𝙽𝙽𝙴𝚁

WE WERE AT HAYLEY'S CYBERSPACE. I was writing in my journal until Ethan called us. "Uh, guys, you gotta see this." Ethan said. Conner, Kira, and I came up to him when we saw The Evil White Ranger on his screen. "I have a challenge for you and your Ranger friends. Meet me at the seaside for our final battle." The Evil White Ranger said.

"And what if we have something better to do?" Conner asked. "Then the consequences will be on your head." The Evil White Ranger replied as he disappeared. "The dude's never heard of e-mail?" Ethan asked. "Come on, guys, let's go." Conner told us. "What about Trent? He went to see his dad." I said. "We can take this guy ourselves." Conner told me. "Well, I vote for bringing in Dr. O. for a little backup." Ethan said. We were at the seaside. "Come out, come out wherever you are!" Ethan said.

"Are you sure this is where we're supposed to meet him?" Dr. Oliver asked. That's when a white blur attacked us as we fell to the ground. "Miss me?" The Evil White Ranger asked. "Do you really have to ask?" Kira replied. "Where is the White Ranger?" The Evil White Ranger asked. "Five against one — I don't see why you'd want to make it six!" Conner answered.

The Evil White Ranger then attacked us again. "I'm glad you could make it. Are you ready for the next phase?" The Evil White Ranger said. "Name your game!" Conner challenged. "My challenge, my rules. Let's take it to the Zords!" The Evil White Ranger said as he got in his Zord. "Dino Stegozord, on-line!" The Evil White Ranger said as he created his Megazord. "This guy doesn't waste any time!" Conner said as he went triassic. "Mesodon Rover!" Conner called.

He hopped into his Megazord as Ethan, Kira, and I followed him. "Shield of Triumph, Full Power!" Conner said. "Mesodon Megazord!" We all yelled as we created our Megazord. We then combined all our extra Zords. "Who's tough now?" Conner asked. We began fighting as we attacked The Evil White Ranger as he fell to the ground. He fired lasers at us. "Tricera Weapons, Counter Strike!" All of us shouted. We attacked him.

"Now I'm mad!" The Evil White Ranger exclaimed. He attacked us as we stumbled backwards. "Tricera Lance!" All of us yelled again, making him lose his Megazord. We saw The Evil White Ranger kneeling on the ground. "What's wrong with him?" Kira asked. "You are worthy opponents, Rangers." The Evil White Ranger said. "Maybe we can help you." Conner suggested. "No, the battle must go on until the question is answered." The Evil White Ranger stated. "What question?" I asked.

The Evil White Ranger stood up. "Who will survive as The White Ranger?" He replied. Ethan ended up getting control of the Stegozord. That's when we saw The Evil White Ranger disappear. We were back at the lab. "I was afraid this would happen. The white dino gem can't sustain being cloned. The energies have to be contained by one White Ranger." Hayley explained. "If anyone's taking votes, mine's on Trent." I said.

"We need to contact him." Dr. Oliver said. That's when the alarm beeped and a monster appeared. "Like that wasn't gonna happen. Hayley, you call Trent. Come on, guys." Dr. Oliver told us. "Ready!" Dr. Oliver asked. "Ready!" The rest of us replied. "Dino Thunder, Power Up! HA!" All of us yelled. We all morphed and headed to the scene. "There he is! This way, guys!" Conner said.

"You lookin' for me?" The monster asked. "The giant green guy — hard to miss." Dr. Oliver responded. "No doubt!" Conner added. Dr. Oliver then called the Zords. We got into our Zords and then created our Megazords. "Stegozord, we need you!" Ethan said as the Stegozord appeared. Dr. Oliver then created a tidal wave. "What is this?" The monster asked.

We hopped onto the water. The monster attacked us as we got hit. Then, we fell to the ground. "Victory is mine!" The monster exclaimed. "Now it gets interesting!" The monster said. He fired at us. "Time to grow the rest of my army!" The monster said. We then saw a tree in replacement of him. "What the—" Conner said. Balls started coming out as two monsters came out. "Take root, my army of evil. Plant your seeds of destruction!" The monster stated.

The two monsters started attacking us. That's when we saw the Drago Zord. It attacked one of the monsters. We then took care of the other monster. Our Megazord fell to the ground as we did too. "Guess it's up to me! Stegozord!" Dr. Oliver said. He then fought the monsters as well. He destroyed one. He tried to fight the other one until he was thrown to the ground as well and got demorphed. "Dr. O.!" Conner shouted. We all ran to him.

"How are we gonna defeat this thing?" Conner asked. "Guys, look." Ethan said. Kira gasped. "But which one is it?" Kira asked. "Trent?" I asked. "Power down." Trent said as he demorphed. "Who were you guys expecting?" Trent asked us. We all laughed as we ran up to him. "Good timing, Trent. You guys ready to do this?" Dr. Oliver asked us. "Ready!" We all shouted. "Dino Thunder, Power Up! HA!" All of us yelled.

We morphed. "All right! Game on!" Conner said. We all headed into our Zords. We created our Megazord. "You didn't think it was over?" Conner said. "Dino Drill, Attack!" All of us yelled. The monster was finally destroyed and so was the tree-like monster. "I'll take you down!" The monster shouted as he aimed for Trent but Trent dodged the attack.

We threw him down to the ground. "Trent, listen, the only way we're gonna be able to defeat this guy is if we use all the dino Zords, including the Drago Zord!" Conner informed. "Sounds like a plan." Trent said. "The Mesodon's on-line! Think you can control a dino Stegozord?" Conner asked. "All over it." Trent answered. "All right! Dr. O.?" Conner said. "I'm on my way!" Dr. Oliver said. "Combining now!" Conner said. We started to combine all of our Zords.

Trent and Dr. Oliver joined us in the cockpit. "Thunder Zords, Full Power!" All of us shouted. "Hey! I didn't think we could fit so many people in here." Kira stated. "Yeah, pretty cozy." Dr. Oliver said. "Now let's give him everything we've got." Trent said. "Right!" Conner agreed. "Prepare to be destroyed!" The monster exclaimed.

"Hold on to your helmets, folks! We're going in!" Conner said. "Give it your best shot!" The monster challenged. "You've got it!" Conner said. We rode down the Brachio Zord and attacked him multiple times. He was finally destroyed. "That was intense." Trent commented. "Glad it worked!" Conner said. "Good call, Conner!" Ethan informed. We were at Hayley's Cyberspace.

"Hey, your dad looked kinda stressed. Is everything okay with him?" I asked, walking up to Trent.

"Yeah, he's just working on a special project." Trent replied.

"He's a smart guy. He'll work it out." I told him.

"Yeah... I hope so." Trent said.
