CHAPTER TEN - WHITE THUNDER, PART 1

𝓣𝙰𝙽𝙽𝙴𝚁

WE ENDED UP IN A FOREST. "We came as soon as we could, Dr. O." Ethan informed. "What'd you find?" Conner asked. "Some sort of storage unit. The energy reading are so intense, this meter can't register them." Dr. Oliver replied. "What kind of energy?" Conner asked.

"The same kind that's in your morphers." Dr. Oliver said. "You're saying there's a dino gem in here?" I asked. "Not anymore, but there was." Dr. Oliver responded. "I thought you had all kinds of things the would pick up if there was a gem out here." Kira informed. "Someone must've hidden it. When the cloaking device deactivated, the readings went off the scale." Dr. Oliver explained.

"So is this good news or bad news?" Conner asked. "Guess that depends on who's got the gem." Dr. Oliver answered. We were back at the lab when there was sudden beeping. "Uh, Tommy, I think we may have something." Hayley announced.

"Unbelieveable." Dr. Oliver said. Conner, Kira, Ethan, and I rushed up to the computer to see what it was. "Guess we got here just in time." Ethan commented. "Any particular reason for that guy?" I asked. "It's hard to tell. It seems like he's actually looking for something." Dr. Oliver replied. "Well, It's not gonna like what it finds. Come on, guys." Conner stated. All four of us held up our left wrist.

"Ready?" Conner asked. "Ready." Ethan, Kira, and I replied. "Dino Thunder, Power up! HA!" We all said in unison. We arrived to where the monster was. "Where are you?" The monster said. "Hey! Over here! Is there something we can help you with?" Conner asked. "Red, Blue, Yellow, Purple. . . No, I'm looking for something in basic White." The monster announced.

"Do you have any clue what he's talking about?" Kira asked. "None." Conner replied. We got into a fighting stance. The monster launched its first attack as all four of us flew backwards. "Huh?" Conner said. There was a sudden flash of white as Conner, Ethan, Kira, and I all stood there confused.

"What's that?" Conner asked. It destroyed the monster and then disappeared. "You guys saw that, right?" Conner asked over his morpher. "Yeah, We're still trying to figure out what it was." Dr. Oliver replied. "We'll try and follow it. Come on!" Conner said as we followed him.

"It should be around here somewhere." Conner informed. "I don't see anything." Ethan commented. "Look harder." A voice said. "Who is it?" Kira asked. "And how come he gets the phant helmet?" Ethan added. I just sighed at Ethan's comment. "This guy a friend of yours, Dr. O?" Conner asked. "Never saw him before." Dr. Oliver replied. "Okay!" Conner said.

Conner headed straight for him. "Don't come any closer. You'll force me to do something I don't want to do." The White Ranger warned. "What do you mean by that?" Conner asked. "Let me show you." The White Ranger replied. He got out his weapon.

"White Drago Sword!" He said. He then made a bunch of arrows. "Laser Arrows!" He shouted as the lasers came straight at us. We all fell to the ground. "Was that really necessary?" I asked him. "That was just a warning." The White Ranger informed and disappeared. We were back at the Dino Lab, still morphed but with our helmets off. "Hey!" Ethan said. "How's it going?" Kira asked.

"Oh, great, he's back." I commented, looking at the screen. "And looking for more trouble, no doubt." Kira added. "You guys better get over there and make sure he doesn't go completely medieval on any civilans." Dr. Oliver said. "Good thinking! Let's go!" Conner said. We arrived to the location where the White Ranger was.

"Hey! Back so soon? Thought you made your point last time." Conner stated as he got into a fighting stance. I sighed. Conner was so stupid sometimes. "I've only just started. You want some more?" The White Ranger asked. We all got into a fighting stance and charged towards him. "Fools!" The White Ranger exclaimed.

He got out his weapon and attacked us. He threw Conner aside and I went next. Ethan and Kira came as well. "Come on!" The White Ranger said. He did those laser things again as all four of us fell to the ground. "This must be what Xander, Nick, Chip, Vida, and Madison felt like when I was fighting them." I thought.

"Weaklings." The White Ranger said as he laughed. He picked up his speed as he attacked us again. He drew x's on our chest. "That's gotta hurt." The White Ranger said as we fell to the ground. "Too easy." The White Ranger claimed. "All right. what's the deal? We tried to be nice, just extending a little Ranger love, and this is what we get?" Conner said.

"I'm not here to make friends." The White Ranger replied. "Then what is it? What do you want?" I asked. "That isn't something you need to know. All that's important right now is that there are four Rangers too many and I'm here to change that." He claimed. "Go for it!" Conner said. We began fighting him again. No matter how hard we tried, he kept beating us.

"That should do it." The White Ranger said. We all got up. "Think we're just gonna walk away?" Kira asked. "Not gonna happen!" I finished for her. Kira and I both fired our weapons but the White Ranger fired back at us. We fell to the ground. "You guys!" Conner said as he and Ethan rushed over to us.

Memories of me betraying and fighting the Mystic Rangers came back through my head. Whoever the White Ranger was, I was gonna get him to turn good. Even if I had to die doing it. I stood up. "All right! Party time's over!" I exclaimed, shoving Conner aside.

I was about to fire my sword at him when Dr. Oliver stopped me. "Wait! Don't!" Dr. Oliver said as he rushed over to me. "What's the matter?" I asked. "We don't know what he's capable of. He's got powers we might not be able to deal with. We don't wanna hurt you. Just tell us why you're here." Dr. Oliver said to the White Ranger. "Why am I here? Let me see. . . to defeat you?" The White Ranger replied.

"That does it!" I shouted. Kira and I got our weapons ready. Dr. Oliver tried to stop us but we didn't listen to him. We continued fighting him until we flew off the roof, with the White Ranger following us. "Nice flight?" The White Ranger commented. "He's gonna pay for that!" I exclaimed, clenching my fist as I went toward him.

We tried fighting him again but failed. "Pathetic." He said. "You're no match for me." He continued as he walked toward us. "Tanner, thoughts?" Kira asked. "Got it covered! Carno Sword!" I shouted as I got out my weapon. "Good call! Ptera Grips!" Kira said. We both tried to strike with our weapons, but the White Ranger drained our energy. "He's too strong!" I said. "I can't take it!" Kira exclaimed.

He attacked us as Kira and I landed on the ground and demorphed. "Okay. That wasn't what I had in mind." Kira commented. "As Ethan would say, looks like game over." I stated. "Not yet." Kira informed. "Kira! Tanner!" Dr. Oliver called. That's when Dr. O started attacking the White Ranger as well.

The White Ranger took Dr. Oliver's morphing energy as he demorphed as well. Conner and Ethan came next. "I want some answers now!" Conner exclaimed. Conner and Ethan ended up getting demorphed as well. We all walked up to Conner. "You all right?" Dr. Oliver asked. "Yeah. I think so." Conner replied.

"You've been warned, Power Rangers. Stay outta my way, or be destroyed." The White Ranger informed as he disappeared. "Guys, we got big trouble." Dr. Oliver said. We were back at the Dino Lab. "It wasn't supposed to go this way, was it?" Ethan asked. "An evil White Ranger? No. Of course, it's been known to happen" Dr. Oliver replied.

"Well, I was evil once. Whoever is the White Ranger, we need to figure out a way to get him on our side." I said. "So what do we do?" Kira asked. "How are we supposed to fight him if we can't get near him?" Conner added. We all looked at each other, then, Dr. Oliver stood up.

"We figure out who this is and what he wants. . . before it's too late." Dr. Oliver responded.
