"the third battle"

"BEFORE WE GET STARTED WITH THIS FINAL EVENT, there are some good new for those who dropped out of the preliminaries!" Present Mic said whiles announcing it in the loudspeaker in front of him.

"In the end, this still is  sports festival! So to have anyone continue to be able to participate, we've got some recreational even in stored!"

"Just look how fired up those cheerleaders we called from America are..." Present Mic suddenly stopped in his track when he looked down below at the class 1A girls.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO CLASS 1A!!?"

"Hey, isn't this great, Shousuke!" Mineta cheered as Shousuke started at all his female classmates wearing cheerleading outfits. He tilted his head in confusion then brought his glaze over to Kaminari as he watched him fist pump Mineta.

"Mineta! Kaminari! You tricked us didn't you!?" Yaoyorozu then fell to her knees. "How did I end up stumbling right into Mineta's hands once again..." She pouted as Uraraka started patting her on the back with her pom poms.

"They really are just idiots..." Jiro grumbled as she throw her pom poms on the ground and turned to Hagakure.

"Well, me might also do it until the true battle begins, since we've got time and being stressed about it would just be tiring." Hagakure said then raised her pompoms in the air. "Its fine, isn't it!? C'mon, let's have a go!!" 

"Tooru, you're actually liking this, huh." Tsuyu said to her.

Suddenly six small but large enough purple glowing blankets started hovering over the girls. Each of them then started groping one by one falling on the girls and covering from the viewing eyes of the crowd.

They were taken aback by this and looked forwards to see Shousuke walking away from them and to the place where other students were gathering. Mina quickly took notice of Shousuke slightly glowing figure as he continued to walk away.

She instantly realized that Shousuke was the one who did this and ran towards him. Shousuke stopped walking after hearing footsteps approaching him in a fast rate. He didn't need to turn around because he already know who was coming.

He then stepped out of the way once Minas hand tried to grab him into a hug. "Oh, come on Shousuke-kun!" She whined as she tried to get a hold of him again, but failed. "I just wanted to give you a hug!" She side but Shousuke instantly shook his head as a 'No' and started walking away from her.

Mina quickly took advantage of Shousuke back being turned and tackled the poor boy into a hug that he was so despite about getting out. He raised his hand and tried to push Mina away, but she just wasn't giving up. Mina then opened her eyes  and looked up at Shousuke in which he looked back down at her.

Mina took to notice all of Shousuke fetchers, especially his lashes. He seemed to be glowing to her as she reattached her hand to cover her eyes from the light. "Gah! Shou-"

Present Mic suddenly rang over the speaker distracting Mina. Shousuke was this a perfect time to escape from her line of sight.

"All right, everyone's compete your heart out, recreation! And after that it's the final event! From the four teams 16 individuals that qualified in the last round will moving into the final ! It's a tournament!! We're putting them against each other in a ONE-ON-ONE COMBAT!!" Present Mic announced making student gather around Midnight.

"A TOURNAMENT, EH? I'm finally gonna have the opportunity to appear on that stage that I've see on the tv every year!" Kirishima in pure excitement.

 "There was a tournament last year too?" Mina questioned but got her answer from Sero. "Some details end up changing, but each year it's always one vs one." He side.

"Now we're going to draw to determine the pairing," Midnight said as she held up a small yellow box to show to the crowd. "So, contestants, we're going to continue with recreational event before beginning the tournament.

The 16 participants from the tournament can choose to abstain from the recreational events is those choose so. There's no problem if you would like to rest and save your energy." Midnight stated.

"So, we being with the team that got first place." But before Midnight could commence the drawing to determine that paring for the tournament. Ojiro called out and raised his hand.

"Um... Please excuse me. I'm withdrawing." Ojiro requested causing his classmate to look at him in shook.

"Ojiro-kun, why?" Midoriya question.

"Your not going to have many opportunities like this one to show of your abilities in front of professional heroes. This is a rare chance for pros to see you!!" Iida said.

"My participation in the cavalry battle... I was in the top rank for the last few seconds... I cant agree at all with that. Probably because of that quirk of that one guy." Ojiro said referring to Shino. "I know this a rare opportunity... and to walk away would be stupid

However everyone here give their best to get so far... I'll never be able to do the same."

"You don't need to think that! there's no problem if you give it your best that the end!" Hagakure stated making Mina nod in agreement. "On the other hand if you say it that way, 'I'm not that same as you?'" Mina question Ojiro who just bought his hand over mouth then lower his head not giving anyone to see his face expression.

"Not it's not like that! it's a question of dignity... I didn't want it to be like that." He said trembling. "Besides why are you wearing cheerleader outfits?" Shousuke mentally facepalmed by this.

"I'm Nirengeki Shouda from class 1B." The class 1B student known as Shouda stepped out. "I also want to withdraw for that same reason. Regardless of the ability, don't you think it goes against the goal of this sports festival for those who didn't do anything to move onto the final round?"

"What is this? Their so manly!" Kirishima commented.

"Well this is an unusual turn of events." Present Mic side.

"We'll have to hear that the chief umpire, Midnight, has to say about this." Aizawa added.

Everyone remained silent wait for Midnights to respond.

"What innocent words," Midnight said in a low tone as dark shade was casted over hero eyes. "I like them! I accept Shouda and Ojiro request to resignation!" She shouted as she crack her whip.

Aoyama turned to face Ojiro who back was turned to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I... I'm not going to give up."

"So, toughs who are going to sign up for the empty slots; they will be participants from the team that got in Fifth place, Team Kendou."

"So that's how it..." Kendou pondered. "In place of our team, which barley was able to do anything, wouldn't it be better to give the opportunity to those kids?" Kendou said then turned over to look at Tetsutetsu team. "Those that fought until the end and got a high ranking, Team Tetsutetsu of course."

That made Tetsutetsu eyes widen in shock. "It's not because we're friend, nothing to do with that. I just think it is that right choice." She side giving him a smile.

 "So, Tetsutetsu has been chosen and is now apart of the top 16!" Midnight announced. "LET'S SHOW THE PAIRINGS!"

5| Mina Ashido vs Yuga Aoyama

7| Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu vs Ejiro Kirishima 

8 | Ochako Uraraka vs Katsuki Bakugo

"Again!? This is too redundant!" Kirishima and Tetsutetsu shouted at each other.

Looking up at the screen Shousuke saw that he was going to be fight Kaminari in the third round. Shousuke looked back at Kaminari who was panicking as he looked at Shousuke in fear

Shousuke then turn back to the front looking down then placed his index finger under on his chin, thinking. 'If both Midoriya and Todoroki won their first around, they would have to face each other in the second bracket...' He thought then looked at the both of them. 'This is going to be a massive battle.'

"Huh? Uraraka?" Bakugo said followed by a shirk from Uraraka.

"All right! Let's leave the tournament aside for a momentary interlude! And let's have some fun with the recreation!"

1 | Hitoshi vs Midoriya 

THE RECREATIONAL GAMES COMMENCED and they the final qualifiers, used the opportunity to prepare themselves mentally and physically. At that time Shousuke was current with Tokoyami making their way up to the stair to where their classmates were seated. 

They were in a deep conversation... well Tokoyami, Shousuke just nodded his head to everything he was say meaning that he was listening to the other.

Now they were on top of the stairs where the rest of class 1A were seated. Tokoyami stopped and turned to face Shousuke.

"I look forwards to see how your match plays out, Komi." Tokoyami declared and got a little him from Shousuke. Shousuke made his  way down stairs as Tokoyami turned to leave.

Shousuke was the seated in between Mina and Kaminari. Mina on his left while Kaminari was on his right. The two where nonchalantly trying to pry his weakness out of him so that Kaminari could get an advantage in their match.

"After so many events," Present Mic started of. "Finally the one vs one battles, those which really we all wanted to see! The only person you can count on is yourself! However even without being a hero, your face situations like these in your everyday life, right?!" Present Mic question the road as they started getting loud.

"Will, ability resistance and justice... This is the moment to put all these things in play and achieve a glorious victory!!"

"First match!! His grades aren't bad, but what is with that expression? From the department of Heroes, Izuku Midoriya." Present Mic announced as the crowd went silent watching Midoriya walk out with a nervous smile. "Versus, We're sorry but he's only a normal student without anything special. From the general studies department, Shinso Hitoshi!" He announced as Shinso walked out with a frown.

"The rules are simple! If your opponent leaves the ring, can't move any more or say "I give up". Then the victory is yours! Don't worry about overdoing yourself!! A recovery girl is waiting to prepared at the edge of the stadium!!! So leave your morale's to the side and give it your all!!!" Present Mic explained.

"I Give up, eh. Did you get that Izuku Midoriya." Shinso questioned Midoriya in a mocking tone. "This even is a battle to test the strength of our determination. If I had a strong desire for the "Future" Then fear don't matter. And still that monkey keeps talking nonsense about his stupid dignity..."

"Without further ado, let the battle being!"

"To throw away an opportunity like this one so easily... Don't you think his is the biggest idiot that you've ever seen?" Shino question referring to Ojiro.

"What did you say?!" Midoriya shouted, but suddenly he stopped his eyes went dull white, making Present Mic question why.

"The victory is mine." Shinso muttered darkly.

"Listen, what's going on? This is the first fight, you guys can't be any more emotional?! Midoriya isn't moving an inch!? He's just standing there gaping like a moron! Could it be Shinso's quirk at play? Even though he hasn't made any impression at all up till now! Could It be that he's that scary?!"

"Deku... ?!" Shousuke heard Uraraka's cried from behind him as she gripped onto his shoulder tightly, it wasn't really tight to Shousuke but he didn't really find the energy to push her of. Realization suddenly it Shousuke when he noticed all of Uraraka's five fingertip's were touching him.

He then realize that he was now floating in the air but he was able to stop himself mid-air by using his own quirk. Uraraka noticed that he was not in his seat but up in the air. She began to panicked and quickly released her quirk and watched as he slowly went down into his seat.

"Lucky you were blessed with such an amazing quirk," Shinso stated as he ordered Midoriya to walk out of the bounds and so Midoriya did."

"What?! Midoriya's being so obedient?! WHY!!" Present Mic cried out as he watch trot towards the out of bounds zone.

However, just as Midoriya was just about to step out bounds, he stopped, and a missive gust of wind followed.

"Midoriya came to  a halt!!?" The crowd burst into cheers as Uraraka let out a loud sigh of relief as she placed a hand on her chest and leaned backing into her seat.

Shousuke squinted his eyes and looked down at the green-haired boys fingers. 'His fingers.. There broken.'

"How...?" Shinso stuttered out. "You shouldn't be able to move! How did you do that?!"He said but it seems that Midoriya had learnt from his mistakes and kept quite before running to Shinso and began to push him back, even when Shinso punched him in a pathetic attempt to win or  to make Midoriya talk.

They continued to tussle before Midoriya grabbed Shinso by his collar and arm, flipped him over, and slammed him on the ground on out of bounds.

"Shinso is out of bounds, Midoriya advances  to the next round!" Midnight announced went silent the they up roared in cheers going wild. Uraraka throw her hands in the air happily while Iida quickly yet joyfully clapped his hands. 

2 | Todoroki vs Sero

ONCE MIDORIYA'S MATCH WAS OVER Shousuke left his seat and went to do find a vending machine due to him be thirsty, also that he wanted to clear his mind.

Even so it was going to be his match right after's Todoroki, so he saw his opportunity and went with it. 

Right now he had found a vending machine and was crouching down on the ground and inserted his money in and clicked the letter and number 2A.

The hook of the vending machine started spinning slowly almost like it was takings its seat as time before falling.

Which got a bit on Shousuke's nerves.

"Is that all what ever spew out of your mouth..?" A voiced said out which made Shousuke look up from the vending machine then look left and right wondering where that voice had came from.

"I will earn my victories using only mom's powers. And I will never use your powers." The voice stated as it sounded like it was getting closer to where Shousuke was.

"Even if that works for you know that you're in high school. You'll reach the limit soon enough." Another voice said but it was much more deeper then first one.

Deciding that he had heard enough, Shousuke stood up from his crouched position and started walking back to the direction that he had came from. His eyes were close and his hands where in his pockets.

He was completely not aware of his surrounding  at that moment, but that was until he suddenly bumped into a someone, causing that person to fall to the ground while Shousuke remained standing.

When he opened his eyes he saw that it was Todoroki. Shoto Todoroki.  The young Todoroki was shocked and confused about what Shousuke was randomly doing here.

"Sorry..." Shousuke muttered in a low tone of voice. It almost surprised Todoroki that Shousuke said something but it also didn't because Shousuke did talk a whole sentence to him with they were training for the sports festival at the Purple haired boys house.

Knowing it would be considered rude if Shousuke said noting or do nothing after accidentally bumping someone onto the ground. The young Komi extended his hand wait for the young Todoroki to grab it.

instead he didn't. Todoroki quickly stood up and left Shousuke standing where he was and quickly exited the building they were in as it was time for his match.

Shousuke turned around to look at the other boy one last time be for heading on his way.

"Sorry to keep you waiting folks!! Next up, it's these two!" Present Mic announced as the crowd watched both Todoroki and Sero exit the tunnel they were in.

"He's turned in an excellent performance to make it this far, and yet, what's with that plain jane expression!? Does it ever come off? Sero Hanta of the Heroics Department. VERSUS!! The person who stands at the top of the to!! He who is way to damn strong! From the selfsame Department of Heroics Todoroki Shoto!!" Present Mic introduced. "Ready... Start!"

As quickly as the match began, Shousuke knew it would also end quickly. Sero has wrapped Shoto in his tape and attempted to throw Shoto out of bounds with his quirk.

"Sorry..." It only took a slight slip of Shoto's foot for a missive iceberg to form and completely immobilize Sero's body except his head.

"Sero is immobilized, Todoroki moves onto the second round!" Midnight announced as Todoroki apologized and has unfroze Sero.

Seeing that it was know time for his match to start Shousuke started making his way to the left side
