Long ago back when there were still samurai's, my great, great, great grandfather thought It would be best if he started something new. So he started to gather all the the best warriors he new and called them assassins, they would come and kill who ever wrong them, and they wouldn't even give a single ounce of remorse for what they did.

As years passed the head tale of the leader went down the family of De Angelis to De Angelis, the current leader of assassins is my grandfather, but when he passes it would go to me.

You would think my mother or father but they both disappeared after a mission, they were presume dead.

But the truth is we never found a body so we don't really know, grandfathers said that if they are still alive they are going to be treated like traitors to the family name and to the people who look up to us.

I haven't seen my parents since I was 4, my grandfather raised me until I was 6, then put the job to my personal bodyguard Mamoru Kano.

He was only 6 when I was born and was given the task of protecting me, since then he was technically my only friend too. He's watched me grow up. He was more of a parent than my real ones.

Mamoru was better at fighting than anyone his age here. It's one of the reasons why my grandfather trusted him in watching over me.

You could say I was the De Angelis family jewel. I was the only thing that my grandfather cared about, besides being an assassin.

But that didn't stop him from hitting me every time I didn't do a move correctly or I didn't do what was told of me.

I did everything that was asked of me.

I never ask for anything from my grandfather because I knew he was a very important person and was always too busy with his job.

A girl with long pink hair was walking in a long hallway when she came up to a door, she softly nocked on it and waited for a response.

"Come in." Said a deep voice from the other side.
She opened the door and her soft ruby red eyes landed on her grandfather sitting in his office chair with paper all over his desk.

As she walked in she made sure to close the door and stand straight with her head up and hands in front of her, if you didn't know she was a real person you probably would have thought she was a doll.

With the way she looked with her hair in low pigtails with two small red bows on them. And her long red dress and mair jane heals.

Her grandfather made sure she was to be tough how to be a proper lady for when she has to be married to another high assassin family.

Their were 3 high assassin family

1. De Angelis
2. Al Ghul
3. De Lisle

They were some of the oldest families in the assassin history and they were some of the founders of this society, so the families were considered family friends.

"You called me grandfather." She said looking at him with curiosity it's very rare form him to call her into his office.

"I'm having the Al Ghul family come over for dinner tonight, I want you to be on your best behavior and to be nice to Damian, this will be a business opportunity for our two family to get closer together." He said standing up and looking out the big windows seeing a single blue jay fly past followed by two small blue jays trying to keep up with the older one.

"Yes grandfather." She said.

"Good, I'll have someone drop by something for you to wear for tonight." He said turning to look at her, she slowly lowered her head not daring to look into his eyes.

The last time she did he took it as a challenge and she ended up in the infirmary.

"Yes, grandfather." She said.

"That is all, you are dismissed." He said sitting back down in his chair looking over paper.

She nodded her head and began to open the door when his vice rang out to her.

"Oh and if tonight doesn't work the way I want it to, then I'll be put you in that little cage of yours." He said looking up at her to only see her back.

She widened her eyes and started to shake a little, she thought about the cage and gasped.

She slowly nodded her head and walked out making sure she closed the door.

As she walked back to her room she couldn't stop shaking, the thought of going back into the cage scared her. The thought of him wiping her and cutting her until she passed out from blood loss or passed out from the pain.

As she reached her room she saw Mamoru was sitting in her chair next to her desk with a book, she softly smiled at the thought of him waiting for her.

"Are you just going to stand there and watch me read or are you going to tell me why you're shaking so bad?" He said looking up at her putting the book down.

"Grandfather said that if tonight doesn't work out......I have to......be put in the cage." She said looking over to the side seeing an old photograph of her and the older boy.

She was about four or five in the picture and he had snuck her out and took her to an amusement park for the first time, they had so much fun that day, but all good things never last forever, when it was time to come back her grandfather found out and put her in the cage and left her for six weeks.

"Just remember the breathing method I told you about." He said getting up and walked over to her bringing her into a huge to try and stop her hands from shaking.

"I'm going to be there as a personal guard so don't worry about him." He said grabbing her shoulder looking into her eyes.

She took a deep breath in and exhale and put a smile on her face looking up at him.

"Thank you Mamo, for everything." She whispered with a smile then hugged him again with her head only going to his stomach.

"Anything for you Sera." He whispered back hugging her back.
