"You did not..." The girl repeated staring at the boy, being full handed with this drawing equipment. "I did! Do you like it?" He smiled and the whole world lit up. "Josh... Why did you do something like that? How much money did it cost?" She said concerned of her boyfriend. 

"It doesn't matter... All I wanted was to see you smile... But... You are not smile... You didn't like my surprise..." He figured out and the girl approached him just to grab the things off his hands. "Are you kidding me?" She pouted and Joshua tried to scan her face to distinguish her true feelings. 

"Well, You don't seem happy..." He was the one to pout this time. 

"Joshua I am happy... I am happy I have someone like you in my life... It's just that I don't want you to spend your money on things that are not needed... You did not have to do this!" The girl grabbed his hand. 

"You don't undrestand anything, do you?" He asked. The girl was taken aback staring at his expressionless face. Did she do something wrong?

"Huh?" She whispered with a mellow voice. 

"I would spend all my money just to see your smile... I would literally throw all of them from a rooftop just to get the chance to stare at your smile..." He announced quite angry but not with her.

"But... I can smile for free... I guess..." He joked and the boy chuckled forgetting the thing he was mildly angry before. The girl showed him her smile and Joshua's heart almost melted. "Thank you..." She said and glared at the canvas right beside her. 

"Hug me!" He said and forced her in his arms. 

"Um guys I am still here!" Mingyu said from his bed and finally reminded them they are not alone. Both of them looked at mingyu although they were still hugging tightly and gently. "And... You don't even care... Okay..." Gyu whispered secretely complaining. 

"Nooo we do..." Soonie broke the hug just to sit on Gyu's bed. "Yah... We don't... Stay away from him..." Joshua clinged onto her like an overprotective boyfriend. 

"Joshie relax..." 

"I will when you sit on my bed, instead of this bed..." He said sharing a death glare with Mingyu. "I will kill you..." The girl mumbled, getting up and diving into Joshua's bed. "Happy now?" He said but Joshua shrugged his shoulders. 

"It takes more than this to see my happy..." Joshua complained. 

"Does a hit in the head with a hammer count?" Mingyu said and Soon-hee got excited with his answer. "Yooo Bro that was a good one!" She said and he gave her a high five when she got up. Joshua pinned her down. 

"So Listen... I have to go to work..." He tried to explain... 

"Who?" The girl said about to trick him. 

"Me!" He thought she did not undrestand. 

"Who asked you?" The girl answered and Mingyu started laughing. "You two are seriously something..." Josh blurred out rubbing his forehead. "Anyway.. I will be back at midnight, Okay? You can do whatever you want... But stay away from this player... If he touches you call the police..."

"Why would I call the poilice if he touches me?" She asked surprised. m"Not for him... For me... Cause I will kill him... Are we clear?" He asked and the girl nodded. 

"Okay Dad..." She sarcastically said and Joshua scoffed. "See you later..." He patted her head like she was a dog and grabbed his jacket on the bed. On his way out he stopped right in front of Gyu's bed just to weirdly stare at him. 

"Behave yourself when I am gone..." He scolded him and Gyu nodded. 

"Okay Dad..." He nodded again like a little kid and Joshua scoffed. "Tsk Tsk..." He said and walked out of the door. As soon as they were alone they started laughing at how ridiculous this siutuation was.

"His expression was priceless..." Gyu held his tummy when his laughters went out too loudly. Soonie got up and grabbed a strool to place it in front of the canvas. "You know how to draw?" Mingyu asked after a while of noticing her graceful movements with the brushes on the canvas. 

"Yes... When I was a kid I could even win medals... but eventually gave up growing up..." SHe scratched the back of her neck. 

"Flex..." He whispered and the girl
giggled. 

"So... are you drawing a portrait?" He asked staring at the draft of the head. "Mmhm..." The girl continued drawing completely forgetting Mingyu was staring at her. One hour passed with none of them saying a word while Soonie remembed what she adores the most. 

"Wait... Is that Joshua?" Mingyu asked and finally the girl woke up from her imagination only to realize she has been drawing Jisoo all the time. Her eyes widen as she went agaped. "N-Noo... That's not Joshua..." She attempted to lia but gyu already knew. 

(She drew something like this)

"C'mon... It's obviously Joshua..." He pointed at some details and the girl stepped in front of the canvas to hide her masterpiece. "Hey.... Don't hide it... You drew him nicely... I mean he is amazing... In real life he is uglier compared to this fiction!" He said and they both laughed. 

"Shhhh... Don't be so rude... What if he hears you..." The girl giggled sitting on Joshua's bed once again. "He will chase me down... probably..."He giggled and laid back. 

"Can I ask you something...?" Gyu asked after a while capturing her attention. 

"Yes..." 

"if you are so good at drawing why... why did you stop?" He stuttered being afraid to ask just because he did not want to invade to her personal life. The girl scratched the back of her neck ready to admit her real reasons behind herb quting. 

"You don't have to tell me if you d-" 

"No No It's okay... i will..." 

And a big story started. They were tallking for over two hours, trailling down her whole situation. She talked about her family, Jihoon, Even Minghao... The man was just listening or asking questions from time to time. 

"You really miss Minghao don't you?" He asked out of the blue when the convo was almost over. "H-How do you know?" She asked surprised. "Because you literally talk more about Minghao than your brother..." He confessed and the girl almost blushed. Okay That's true! She missed him so much. Tears were about to escape from her eyes but she hold them in. 

"Yeah I miss him a lot!" She nodded thrice trying to sound natural. 

"Why don't you try to talk to him again?"

"Mingyu It..It doesnt matter anymore... He was my friend... He could at least give me my time to explain but he didn't... He said it's better not to speak to each other... I am doing what he asked me.." 

"Are you sure that's what he wants?" He asked while his eyebrows narrowed. "He asked for it so I guess it is..." 

"And what do you want?" He asked sitting on his bed this time. The truth is that Soonie did not know what she wanted. "I want to have a peaceful life... That's all I wanted and It's better to have people that truly love me and care about me in it..." She said without giving it a lot of thought. Mingyu just smiled not knowing what to say. 

At the exact same moment Joshua unlocked the door and walked in with some bags on his hands. 

"I am back..." He retorted and placed the bags beside the door. His eyes met hers and he smiled. Then he noticed the canvas and the brushes having paint on them. "Don't tell me you drew something..." He  cheered and dashed to see. The girl jumped and stood right in front of the canvas. 

"No.... No... It's not ready..." She tried to hide it but Jisoo was about to peek. "I don't care I want to see!" He was trying to gently grab her closer and epose her drawing but she was not willing to let him see. 

"No! It's bad... Not yet!" She lifted her hands covering every single aspect of the canvas. The truth was she was gonna hide her work... He didn't need to see it... "Just let me see it..." He grabbed her hand and slolwy moved her aside. His eyes fell on the drawing on the canvas as his brain just could not comprehend. 

"T-That's me..." He whispered getting closer to the canvas to notice the small details. He briefly turned around and stared at the girl being awkward. "You drew me?" He smiled like a baby and the girl gulped. 

"I-It's n-not you... It's just someone looking like... you!" She tried to save it and Joshua looked at it again. "Are you sure? I-It really looks like me!!" He narrowed his eyeb rows scanning it once again. "It's you!" Gyu did not cover up for her and Joshua turned to look at him with a smirk. "Pabo..." The girl said to Gyu and he stuck his tongue out plafully. 

"How did you draw me so well without even looking at me?" He asked and the girl suddenly felt her palms getting sweaty. What is she supposed to say? She took a step back frightened. Why is she always this awkward? 

"You were thinking of me, weren't you?" He asked realizing her tricks. "I-I... Well... Yes..." She finally confessed. The man blushed. She could make him blush by just walking right next to him. "Can I keep this?" He asked staring at how beautiful it looked. 

"I-It's bad... I could make you something else..." She tried to grab the canvas and turn it around but Jisoo stood right in front of her. "I want this one!" He said with confidence... "It's perfect... Please?" He asked and the girl eventually gave up.

"F-Fine..." 

"Let's go... I am treating you Ice cream..." He smiled and lowered his head, just to give her a quick smooch. Her eyes widened in shock. 

"B-But It's twelve.." She stuttered. 

"I thought you couldn't say no to free Ice cream..." He frowned and the girl grabbed her jackt. "I can't...Let's go..." She grabbed his hand and almost dragged him out. "Byu gyu..." The girl said goodbye before literally talking him out of the dorms unil they met the streets. 

"Joshua took her on the convinient store that was close to college. They stood right in front of the counter and the men paid for their ice creams. "Thanks..."  Soonie said and grabbed her Ice cream. 

"Don't even mention it..." He smiled like a loving baby. "Can I randomly ask you something?" She said and the boy nodded. "How is your relationship with Hao... I mean Minghao... Now?" She asked and Joshua tagged his one hand in his pocket. 

"Well, He ignores me as well..." He giggled. "Oh I am sorry... It's because of me..." The girl aknowledged but the boy knew it wasn't. "No It's not... I also knew!" he grabbed her hand and they walked outside of the store. Her feet stopped as soon as they almost bumped, face to face with the person they were talking about. 

Minghao...

Awkward silence filled the world suddenly with the couple staring at Minghao and him staring back. Who was gonna break this unpleasant silence? Soonie opened her mouth ready to form a sentence but Hao passed by them and entered the convinient shop. Joshua was about to follow him and stop him but Soonie seized his arm. 

"I-I have to talk to him..." He stuttered.

"Please don't..." She almost pleaded and he gave up. They continued walking to their front while eating their ice cream. 

"Jisoo?" She asked.

"Mmhm?" He licked his ice cream. "Can you promise me you will never betray me?" She asked as her happy face got easily replaced with a miserable one. "Hey... Don't think like that..." He tried to reassure her everything will be okay with his hand sliding down her hand. 

"I am afraid..." 

"Of what?" 

"I-I don't wanna lose you too..." She whispered and Joshua stopped walking surprised. The girl slowly titled around to face his smile. "Why are you smiling?" She asked and the boy just went in for a kiss without permission. 

His ice cream fell down as both of his hands cupped her cheeks soothing her in a type of way. She closed her eyes although she was immobilized in the same position she was. He tasted like chocolate, sweet and gentle. 

His lips were addicting, something only she could know. Not even Joshua knew as she never got to tell him. She didn't want him to know. 

"I will never betray you and I will never leave you... I promise..." he whispered, resting his forehead on hers. She finally felt relieved. "W-What about you?" He asked waiting for an answer. "Joshua... You are the one!" She announced and the boy smiled so wide his lips could even rip apart. 

"Let's go Lola... It's late..." He said and gave her a last peck on the lips. 

"I-I... I won't spend the night in your house tonight..." She announced and the boy stopped only to stare at her perplexed. "Wait, Why?" He asked not able to comprehend her behavior. "Mingyu is back... And there is no room for me... It's okay... I will stay in Mia's ... I should ask her..."

"It's too late to ask Mia, Furthermore there is always room for you..." He interlocked his fingers with hers.

"You are gonna sleep with me, Okay?" He asked and the girl nodded. And that's the way it happened. They got home, they talked with Mingyu and when the got sleepy Joshua shared his bed with her. Before she actually falls asleep she felt a slight vibration right next to her ear. 

"I love you..." Joshua whispered and her eyelids gently opened to stare at his eyes in the dark. His face looked like one of an angel. "Sleep..." He whispered again but the girl was too immersed staring at how beautiful he is. He slowly leaned closer and gave her a lustful kiss. His eyes slowly opened when this kiss was over. 

"Come closer Lola..." He pulled her by the shirt and placed her inside his warm embrace. His hands were wrapped around her body as he placed her head on his chest. Finally he closed his eyes and after a while sleep took him over. He had years to sleep so peacefully.
