To be completely honest Val was nervous. The girl gave her butterflies so she could only imagine what hearing her voice again would do.  Her thoughts were interrupted by her phone ringing, it had to be Demitra. That was quick, she hadn't been expecting a call so quickly. Shit, she was FaceTiming. Val barely looked put together so she answered the phone with the camera off.

"hi val, wait why isn't your camera on?" Val could see the way Demitra's eyebrow raised in confusion.

"cause I look like shit that's why" Valentina could barely contain her laughter.

"Shut up I know for a fact you always look good now turn it on" that right there had Val blushing maybe Demitra would think she accidentally put on too much blush ?

As they continued talking Demitra suddenly shouted, "OH MY GOD! I just had the best idea, my sisters and I are planning on making a video about making a thanksgiving when we get back to Canada. You're American right?"

"Yeah, from Jersey, why?" Val asked tilting her head confused.

"you'll still be in Canada when we get back and I think are thanksgiving is gonna need some American representation."

Val gasped, "is the famous Demitra Kalogeras asking me to be in her video."

"Yeah she is!" Demitra exclaimed.

"Fine I guess I have to make an appearance if she wants me there." Val fained annoyance with a smile on her face.

Noah turns the camera on, "okay rolling"

Cueing the kalogeras sister to start the intro, "happy thanksgiving!"

"It is American thanksgiving today. The day that we are posting this. We are Canadian so technically it's not thanksgiving for us but luckily for us we have Valentina here. Our American representation." As demitira finished Val slid into frame. "Hi guys!" Val said waving her hands at the camera.

"We have a lot of American subscribers and fans, so we are making this video for you guys today because we love every single one of you!" As Sunday talked her sisters made little hearts with their hands.

"I was gonna say homes-"
"ALL OF YALL HOMES-!" Demitra hit the counter

"It is actually the day before thanksgiving today" Eli started the sentence before her sister finished it, "we just got off a plane."

"I lost my passport" demitra said before Val looked at her confused. How did she manage that one?

"Todays video is going to be a little different because..."

Cueing Noah to move the camera around the camera to show all the girls, "Noah is going to be doing it vlog style! You guys are going to be able to see us from around the- what is it called? Oh! An island." Sunday said before looking at Eli, "we're trying to figure out if you like up close and personal or like it from where we originally put it."

"We are going to be telling you guys what we're thankful for because so much has happened this year for us. There is so much for us to be thankful for. We're just thankful for you guys first of all and we just want to tell you how grateful we are for every single one of you guys! Because we love all of you guys!" As Sunday finished speaking Eli walked up to the camera to blow a kiss.

Sunday than walked up to the camera, "give me a kiss! MWAH!" Demitra pushed Sunday out the way to give her own kiss. After Demitra moved back Eli moved back into frame, "Noah." Shaking her face with her mouth open she blew him a kiss.

Right after Demitra pushed Valentina to the camera, "give it a smooch" she laughed before giving a big MWAH.

"Noah is going to be degutting this because non of us want to do this."

"What size are these gloves?" Noah said as it barely cover his hand before Eli started pulling it down, "you're fine. This is like guys being like I need an extra large condom."

"He's about to go through the turkeys glory hole"
"Ayo?"

"About to go through the turkeys baduss." Demitra said behind the camera.

As Noah was degutting the turkey he found a piece, "what is this liver?"

Eli looked at it for a second, "heart?"

"Do you want my heart?" Holding it out to her.

"That's both disgusting but somehow cute?" Valentina whispered to Demitra but the microphone still caught it.

"Noah just asked why we picked the one with intestines" Sunday said.

"Bro thought this turkey was made AI." Demitra focused the game on Noah again.

"I'm really thankful that you know how to cook" Sunday said while grabbing ingredients from the fridge.

"okay what else?"

"That you make supper when I ask you too"

To which Demitra asked again, "what else?" Behind the camera Noah said, "I'm thankful that Mia knows how to be very smart in the kitchen."

"I'm grateful I get to try Demi's cooking for the first time!" Valentina said while adding seasoning onto the food.

"Val can you open this jar for me" Demitra asked and held it out to the girl. Valentina handed over the camera as she took the jar and opened it. "damn okay nonchalant king"

"Valentina what are you thankful for?" Demitra asked just as the girl went to reply she turned on the blender.

"We still have to make a pumpkin pie." Demitra stated out loud looking at the mess on the counter.

"What? We're making pumpkin pie?" Sunday asked as she whipped her hands dry.

"Yeah, Val said it's one of her family traditions for thanksgiving besides having apple pie or fresas con crema. Wait that's how you say it right?" Demitra looked back at Valentina for confirmation.

"Yeah, you said it right." She answered with a smile.

"Goddamn." Sunday said already tired of cooking.

"Damn. she really said 'but wait there's more.'" Valentina laughed.

"Now im going to start on the pumpkin pie and you girls are going to start-" Demitra was got off by Eliana, "-im going to start on the haloon."

"No you're going to start on the sweet potato's, kailea is going to start on the mash potatoes and Val is going to help make the pie crust" Demitra corrected her.

"So we are going to be working like one two three four. Like an assembly line. Assemble these nuts."

Valentina followed Demitra with the camera in her hands as she went to grab something for the pie.

"Gonna put this right here and check myself out a little bit." Valentina turned the camera to the mirror as Demitra posed, "im hot as fuck."

"No complaints here."

CUT

"I'm thankful that no one in my family is a picky eater. Like we grew up eating brussel sprouts and loving them like we didn't grow up like ew I don't like broccoli like no mom please" Demitra mocked a kids voice, "like bitch eat your fucking greens."

Valentina sided eye Demitra knowing she hated brussel sprouts and tomatoes even if she enjoyed pasta sauce she couldn't stomach eating an actual tomato for some reason.

Valentina grabbed Demitras phone off the charger before going back to give it to her, "your phone is charged."

"Yes! Good girl."

"Ayo. Okay fruitcake I see you but never say that again"

CUT

"Okay so im trying the cinnamon? Oh caramel pumpkin and-" Sunday gasped, "my new pants"

Noah came around the counter to show the damage, "you know what fuck this pumpkin pie and it tastes like shit too."

Sunday tried applying water to the stain but the water just made a mess on the pants, "now it looks like I pissed myself" Sunday struggled to say through her laughter.

"okay go piss girl" Valentina said quietly but Demitra still heard her causing the girl to bust out into laughter again.

"I don't want to finish the video like this"

"Okay let's cut to the clip of the food at the end" Eliana said as she poured the lemonade she made into a cup. Then Noah panned the camera over Demitra and Valentina over the Sunday and the towel hanging over the front of her pants over the water stain.

The girls then moved the turkey over to the plate, "something don't look right about this turkey?"

They turned the plate towards the camera displaying the half eaten portion before laughing.

"Y'all turkeys served." Demitra pushed the turkey out the way before grabbing the next dish, "sweet potato marshmallow-" her southern accent was cut short by Sunday, "who the fuck? Who took a bite out of this? Eli?" The girl innocently walked over with a grin on her face carrying a dish.

"Usually we cook a meal, today we cooked a feast." Sunday stated. The girls and Noah were all behind the counter with all the food they made on the counter.

"I'm very thankful for this meal infront of us I actually really enjoyed it. Now we wait for the pumpkin pie."

one hour later

"The pie is done and it looks amazing. We're editing this video right now because it has to be posted tomorrow and this is the state of Eli" the camera was pointed to the girl who was now knocked out on the couch wearing her bonnet and hoodie with her laptop on her stomach, "she's slumped. Let's she how far she is into editing the video. Four minutes in."

"Let's go see Sunday. Oh she's also slumped." Identical to her younger sister she was also asleep wearing a matching hoodie and laptop on her lap. "And she's two minutes in. We are cooked."

"Let's check out Valentina we forced her to stay the night and help us. I lended her my laptop to use let's check how far she's in." The singer was wearing eyeglasses and a hoodie that clearly wasn't hers with a laptop on her. "Holy shit. She's not even a minute in, if you guys see this it's a thanksgiving miracle."
