Alexa POV

AT school, I was in gym class watching Scott and Allison climb the rock wall. Scott was way behind Allison, but he didn't seem to care. Suddenly Allison kicked her leg out, kicking Scott off the wall. Scott came falling down the wall, the harness he wore kept him from hitting the floor harshly. We all laughed at him and Coach went and sat down next to Scott.

"McCall, I don't know why, but your pain gives me a special kind of joy. Right?" Coach said

Coach stood up and looked at his clipboard of names.

"All right, next two. Stilinski, Erica, let's go. The wall." Coach said

Stiles nodded in excitement, while Erica just stared up at the wall in fear. I reached out to touch her shoulder and she flinched.

"Are you sure?" I asked

Erica nodded firmly.

"I'm sure Lexie." Erica said

"Okay. Be careful though, Er." I said

Aaron made his way over to me and stood next to me as we watched Erica and Stiles start climbing up the wall. Stiles reached the top and headed back down, while Erica hadn't even made it halfway.

"Oh, please." Erica whimpered

I took a step forward as Erica started to hyperventilate.

"Erica. Dizzy? Is it vertigo?" Coach asked

I rolled my eyes at his stupidity.

"Vertigo's a dysfunction of the vestibular system of the inner ear." Lydia said 

She rolled her eyes at Coach. 

"She's just freaking out." Lydia said

I shot a glare at Lydia for that comment, she doesn't know what Erica goes through.

"Erica." Coach said, trying to get her attention

"I'm fine." Erica insisted

"Coach, maybe it's not safe. You know she's epileptic." I said

"Why doesn't anybody tell me this stuff? I have to get... Erica, y-you're fine. Just... just kick off from the wall. Th-there's a mat to catch you. Come on. See, you're fine. You're on the ground. You're all right. Let's go. Shake it off. You're fine." Coach said

Erica headed down the wall and everyone laughed at her, tears formed in her eyes. I gave her a hug and we walked to the locker rooms.

"Are you okay?" I asked

Erica nodded as the rest of the girls headed into the locker room to change.

"Hey Er, you wanna..." I started

I noticed that Erica wasn't in the locker room. I ran to the gym and saw Erica on the rock wall, without a harness or a mat on the ground, having a seizure. I saw her fall from the rock wall, but Scott managed to catch her.

"Put her on her side. Put her on her side." I ordered

Scott rolled her on her side.

"How'd you know?" Allison asked Scott

"I just felt it." Scott said

Aaron and I were waiting outside of Erica's hospital room, while Mrs. McCall was checking her to make sure she's okay. Suddenly there's this very, very hot guy standing in front of us. I mean like hotter than hot, like super hot. Like the gods have blessed him with extremely hot looks.

"Hello Alexa, Aaron." The man said

"Who are you? How do you know our names?" I asked

"My name's Derek and let's just say we have a mutual friend." The man, Derek, said

"Who?" Aaron asked

He crossed his arms.

"Hold on. Someone's coming." Derek said

He pulled me into a nearby closet and I grabbed Aaron's hand, pulling him behind us. Derek left the door slightly open so we can see. I saw Mrs. McCall exiting Erica's room. As soon as she was gone Derek, Aaron, and I stepped out of the closet. He grabbed my hand and dragged me into Erica's room, Aaron following behind us.

"Lie still." Derek ordered

He grabbed Erica's bed and rolled it out of the room. Aaron and I just stood in the room, confused. Derek popped his head back in the room.

"Come on." Derek said

Aaron and I followed him into the morgue. Derek grabbed Erica's medicine and started reading the bottle.

"Side effects may include anxiety, waking, acne, ulcerative colitis. Yeesh." Derek said

"Who are you?" Erica asked

"Let's just say we have a... mutual friend. You get a warning right before you have a seizure." Derek said

"It's called an aura. It's... it's like a metallic taste in my mouth." Erica said

"You don't have to lie, Erica. What's it really taste like?" Derek asked

"It tastes like blood." Erica revealed

"What if I told you that all of this could go away? The side effects... the symptoms... all of it. And what if all those things not only went away... but everything else... got even better? Not just for you Erica, but also for you Alexa? And you, Aaron?" Derek said

"How?" I asked

"Let me show you." Derek said

Derek's eyes suddenly got red.

The next day at school, Derek dropped Erica, Aaron, and I off at school during lunch, and parked outside. Erica, Aaron, and I walked into the cafeteria and everyone stared at us. Erica walked over to a freshmen boys' table and grabbed an apple from one of the boy's trays, while Aaron and I went over to Scott and Stiles.

"Hey boys." I said

Aaron and I each flashed them a smile and walked away. I saw Lydia go up to them out of the corner of my eye.

"What... The holy hell... Is that?" Lydia asked

She was seething and she smacked her palms on Stiles and Scott's table.

"It's Alexa, Aaron, and Erica." Scott said

Aaron, Erica, and I met up in the middle. Erica and I linked arms, and the three of us walked out of the cafeteria, with Scott and Stiles hot on our heels. Erica, Aaron, and I walked over to Derek's car, smiled at Scott and Stiles, and got in, me sitting shotgun and Erica and Aaron sitting in the back. Derek looked over at the boys and smirked at them. Then we drove off leaving the boys dumbfounded.
