You whip your head to the wagon.

A wide eyed and guilty Fang pointing accusingly at Momo.

Sokka rushes over. "What happened?!" You stutter, unsure of what to say. "You just gave away our position! Now we'reโ€“" An arrow cuts him off and hits his shoulder, throwing him off the horse.

Huns appear on a cliff, and arrows shower down on the soldiers. "Get out of range!" The blue eyed captain shouts, ripping the arrow from his armor.

The army struggles to get away from the Huns, but are intercepted by another group of Huns up on another cliff with flaming arrows striking the wagon of cannons.

Bosco bucks and whines. "Save the cannons!"

The soldiers run over, passing the cannons from the wagon to each

other.

Taking your sword you cut Bosco's reins and mount him just as the wagon explodes, sending Fang and Momo flying and you to the snow.

"Oh, sure, save the horse." Grabbing him and her sword you run over to the other soldiers.

"Fire!" The soldier lights the cannon, and it explodes on the mountain where the Hun's stood.

Aang takes more cannon's revealing Long Feng's hiding spot. Flaming arrows shooting at you all.

"Fire!" With three more blasts there is no sound from the Huns, the cliff sides empty.

"Hold the last cannon." Sokka ordered Zuko.

Everything was silent as the smoke swirled over the snow, your glare hardening at the snowy hill.

The smoke screen shows a horse standing at the top of the hill. Ozai is joined by hundreds of Hun soldiers staring at your small army battle cries echoing.

Sokka looks back at everyone as they unsheathed their swords. "Prepare to fight. If we die, we die with honor."

The Huns charge, hooves rumbling down the mountain, Ozai leading them by a few hundred yards.

"Zuko. Aim the cannon at Shan Yu." He takes aims.

You watch nervous and unsure while glancing at your sword, noticing a glacial overhang.

Sheathing your sword you shove Zuko aside, running off with the cannon toward the Huns.

"Ping! Ping, come back!"

Fang looks over your shoulder as you make way towards the hun leader, brows frowned worriedly.

Falling to your knees you jam the cannon into the snow, aiming at the overhang as Ozai draws nearer, his sword raised

"Okay, you might want to light that right about now, Quickly, quickly!" The dragon exclaimed as you fumble with sparking the flint.

Ozai's hawk โ€“ ๐—”๐—ญ๐—จ๐—Ÿ๐—” dives in, knocking you down, loosing the fire starter in the snow.

"C'mon, we gotta help!" Zuko proclaims, the gang of three run toward you, swinging their swords.

Digging through the snow you take notice of the Huns closing in figure. Grabbing a trying to run fang you pull his tail, lighting the fuse.

Standing on the head of the cannon as it goes off, making Ozai freeze in front of you as it shoots past his face.

"You missed! How could you miss?! He was three feet in front of you!" The cannon hits the overhang with a bang, ice, snow, and rock breaking and crumbling down in an avalanche that rains down on the Hun Army, burying in them.

Ozai watches with shock and fury. Letting out a roar he swings his wavy sword, slicing your side.

Filling with adrenaline you hold your side quickly running away from the

avalanche, pulling Sokka with you.

Aang, Zuko, and Jet pause at the scene and start running back to the rest of the chinese army.

Bosco runs up letting you get on as the avalanche wipes out Ozai. Reaching out you grab Sokka's hand only for the wave of snow to drag him away.

Fang sleds down the snow in a hubcap. "[y/n]!! [y/n]! [y/n]?" He pulls a

Hun's head out of the snow before shoving him back down. "Nope. [y/n]!" He reaches down again and pulls out Momo.

"Man, you are one lucky bug." Grinning, he places him onto the hubcap.

You and Khan break out of the snow and race toward Sokka, who, unconscious from the impact, is sliding on the snow toward a cliff.

Gasping you pull Bosco's reins. "Sokka!" Scooping under his chest you pull him up onto the saddle.

Back on the cliff Aang holds up Zuko. "Do you see them?"

"Yes!" He notches an arrow, which is tied to a length of rope, and shoots

it toward your figure. "Perfect! Now I'll pull them to safety!" Going to grab the rope it slips through his hands.

Fang slides up next to you. "[y/n]! I found a lucky cricket!"

"We need help!" The arrow flies near them and you grab the rope and ties it

around Bosco.

The dragon looks at Momo. "Nice, very nice! You can sit by me!" Placing him beside him on Boscos rear.

Noticing the cliff they scream. "We're gonna die! We're gonna die! No

way we survive this! Death is coming!" Quickly you shoot the arrow up as you all fall off the cliff.

Zuko cries looking at his hands. "I let them slip through my fingers..." A surprised look crosses his face as the arrow, complete with rope, lands in his hands.

With your combined weights on the other end he is dragged toward the

cliff edge.

Other soldiers rush to jump on top of him when finally Aang walks over, picks all the soldiers up, and walks backward, pulling you, Bosco, and Sokka up onto solid ground.

"I knew we could do it! You the man!" Fang punched your shoulder. "Well, sort of."

Climbing off Bosco you sit on your knees beside Sokka who sat up on his elbows, panting.

Jet backed everyone up. "Step back, guys. Give him some air!"

The tan man looked over at you. "Ping, you are the craziest man I have ever met." He insulted as you lowered your head, missing the smile breaking across his face.

"And for that, I owe you my life. From now on, you have my trust." Gently holding onto your arm.

"Let's hear it for Ping, the bravest of us all!" Jet exclaimed. "You're King of the Mountain!" Zuko stated making the soldiers cheer.

Sokka helps you as the adrenaline in your veins vanishes. Grunting your hands frantically grasp your side as you collapse to the ground.

"Ping! What's wrong?" You move your hands, blood staining your skin along with your armor.

The captain's blue eyes widened. "He's wounded! Get help!" Your vision blurs, sinking into unconsciousness, the only face and voice remaining being that of Sokka.

"Ping, hold on. Hold on."

โ€”

A medical tent was quickly set up, leaving everyone to wait worriedly. Outside Sokka paced anxiously matching the emotions of Zuko, Aang, and Jet who sat with Bosco.

The doctor emerges from his tent and gestures Sokka over, whispering something into his ear.

A disturbed crosses his face as he rushes inside. Your eyes flutter open, a smile crossing your lips at the sight of the army captain.

He stares down at you as you sit up in bed, chest bandaged revealing your feminine figure.

Realizing your mistake you pull the blanket over yourself. "I can explain." Dropping the act, no hope in redeeming or saving yourself.

Long Feng rips the tent open. "So it's true!"

"Sokka!" You call out after the man who crosses his arms and angrily exits the tent.

The council man follows after, yanking you with him, the blanket still clutched around you.

"I knew there was something wrong with you!" He accused in front of the other men, ripping the ribbon from your hair, letting the longer strands fall, framing your softer features.

"A woman!" Gasps come from the men as Long Feng throws you to the ground. "Treacherous snake!"

Pushing yourself up you glare at the council man. "My name is [y/n]. I did it to save my father!" Pleadingly looking over at Sokka.

"High treason!" Long Feng exclaimed.

"I didn't mean for it to go this far!" You shouted. "Ultimate dishonor!" Getting up in your face making you turn away.

"It was the only way! Please, believe me!"

Long Feng huffs and scoffs standing next to Sokka expectantly. "Captain?"

Silently he walks over to Bosco and takes out your sword making the horse exclaim and buck.

The gang of three start to rush over to you, but Long Feng stops them.

A soldier holds Bosco. "Restrain him. You know the law." Jabbing at the three men who had grown to be your best friends.

Sokka walks over to you and draws back as you hang your head in defeat.

The sword is thrown down on the snow in front of you. "A life for a life. My debt is repaid. Move out!"

The council man stumbles up to him. "But you can't just..."

"I said, 'Move out.'"

Your hand falls in front of your face as the army sadly walks away, leaving you, Fang, and Bosco alone in the snow.

โ€”

The sun began to set sooner than usual. Momo threw tiny sticks into a very tiny fire.

You rubbed your arms, clothes doing no help in warding off the cold. Bosco bites the blanket off his back and around you, laying down to apply more warmth.

Momo chitters, jumping and wrapping himself in the blanket with you while shivering.

"I was this close. This close! To impressing the ancestors, getting the top shelf, in entourage... man. All my fine work." Fang rants, using the tip of an

arrow to roast a dumpling over a tiny fire.

"I should never have left home." You say dreadfully

"Hey C'mon. You wanted to save your father's life. Who knew you'd end up shaming him, disgracing your ancestors and losing all your friends. Y'know, you just gotta ... just gotta learn to let these things go." Fang sympathized, tearing up as the tiny fire went out.

"Maybe I didn't go for my father. Maybe what I really wanted was to prove that I could do things right. So that when I looked in the mirror-"

Picking up your helmet. "I'd see someone worthwhile."

Tears glossed over your eyes, looking up they streamed down your cheeks. "But I was wrong. I see nothing." Tossing the helmet aside.

"Hey, that's just cause this needs a little spit, that's all." Fang tries to lighten the mood, spitting on the helmet. "Let me shine this up for you."

Showing the reflecting helmet to you. "I can see you, lookit you, you look so pretty!"

Seeing you turn away her falters. "The truth is, we're both frauds. Your ancestors didn't send me; they don't even like me. I mean, you risked your life to help people you love. I risked your life to help myself. At least you had good intentions."

Suddenly Momo starts to cry.

"What do you mean, you're not lucky! You ... lied to me?" Fang says, exasperated.

Momo nods and the dragon turns to Bosco. "And what are you, a sheep?"

Grumbling he tosses the cricket behind him.

"I'll have to face my father sooner or later. Let's go home."

"Yeah. This ain't gonna be pretty. But don't you worry, okay? Things will

work out. We started this thing together and that's how we'll finish it. I promise." Lifting up your chin earning a small smile, giving you a hug.

The shadow of a hawk flies overheard, and around a bend. Ozai climbs

out of the snow and looks around before letting out a roar.

As your packing up Bosco you hear the echo of his shout, making you whip around.

Soon Ozai is joined by five of his soldiers, all of them starting down the path toward the Imperial City.

You watch them from an overhang and gasp. Grabbing your sword, you mount Bosco and turn after the Huns.

"Uh, home is that way." Fang pointed. "I have to do something."

"Did you see those Huns? They popped out of the snow! LIKE DAISIES!" He compared ironically, waving his hands.

You gave the dragon a look. "Are we in this together, or not?"

A guilty look crossed his face as Momo chirped encouragingly. "Well, let's go kick some Hunny Buns!"
