Q: What is your KPOP anniversary?
A: I'd probably say around the end of 2014 to the beginning of 2015? I'm sorry but I can't really remember the date, but I do remember it started when I first heard EXO's 'Overdose' and I've been sucked in ever since!
* Ask me anything: KPOP, life, preferences etc!
* Please note that the names of other characters that I used in this imagine is for ENTERTAINMENT purposes only and that I don't think that any of my characters would do that in real life (I love Suga with my entire heart okay)

You grimace half in disgust, the other half of you trying your best to make yourself as small as possible, making your way through the warm, stuffy room, bodies accidentally banging into one another, the very air smelt of cheap beer and sweat. You wondered again what you were doing here.
Oh right.
Cause you're idiot of a best friend somehow managed to convince you.
Flashback to earlier that afternoon
'Come on (Y/N),' your best friend whined from somewhere above you. Glancing up at his tall frame, you narrowed your eyes into slits and put on the most unmoving expression you had.
'No way Yugyeom,' you objected immediately. 'I'm not even stepping foot into that house, jeez,'
'You needa live a little (Y/N),' Yugyeom continued pestering you. 'Everybody's going to be there, it's the place to be tonight,' he insisted.
'Why can't we just go to your place and watch me trash your tall ass in Wii?" you groaned.
'Because we do that every Friday,' he pointed out, still trying his best to sound as persuasive as possible.
'And I beat you every time and it's still fun,' you retorted, teasing him just a little bit. 'How did you even get invited anyway?' you asked, this time curious. Since both of you had been tight since elementary school, you didn't really make any other friends being the introvert that you are, you would probably be that awkward girl at school, nose buried in a book, praying for someone to come up and talk to her, if it weren't for your best friend who forced you to socialize at every other opportunity.
'Let's see,' Yugyeom took a deep breath and you knew that he was about to launch into a long long story with no particular point and braced yourself for it.
'You know Jungkook and I have been hanging out lately right? Like we went bowling last week and stuff,' Yugyeom began, referring to another one of your classmates. 'So, we were talking about our groups and being trainees, and all the stress about being the youngest and all,'
'Oh please,' you snorted. 'You bully my brother every time you guys are in the practise room what are you talking about?' you scoffed.
'That is SO not fair. First of all, your brother started it. And second of all I'm you best friend, shouldn't you be on my side. Thirdly, I'm the youngest of course he always bullies me.' your best friend began listing down his arguments painstakingly one by one.
'Okay okay,' you put up your hands in surrender. 'Just continue wherever you left off, but make it short please,'
'Okay anyway, we were talking about our teammates and then he mentioned one of his seniors? Yoongi I think?' your best friend mused, a blank look overcoming his face as he attempted to remember the name.
You blushed slightly. Yoongi or Suga as he was better known in school, was the resident jock, captivating at least have of the female population, you included. Fortunately, you had shaken off the 'Suga Stupor' as it was whispered among the girl washroom stalls and moved on to better things. Namely Mark Tuan, Suga's fellow senior who had been introduced to you by your best friend.
'You mean Suga,' you muttered under your breath still embarrassed about your fleeting crush on him.
'Right. Him,' Yugyeom agreed maneuvering around the awkward silence. Like all good best friends he sensed that Suga was a topic better left in the past and chose to cheerfully skip past it during conversations.
'Anyway, he was mentioning this party that Suga is supposedly having tonight because his parents are out of town and I decided like Hell, why not right? So I merely innocently asked whether the party was open to the whole school and Jungkook shrugged which I assumed to be a yes and therefore counted myself as invited to the party. And if I'm invited it means you're invited too,' he concluded.
'I'm still not going. Not for the life of me,' you rejected crossing your arms over your chest adamantly, absolutely and utterly refusing to budge.
'And here I thought of introducing you to the boys,' Yugyeom let out a theatrical sigh which made you react imperceptibly, to anyone else they wouldn't have noticed it but Yugyeom did and a slow grin pulled at his lips as he saw a small crack in your decision.
'The boys? As in you mean your 'band'" you inquired, curling your fingers into air quotes as you said the last word.
'Yes my 'band',' Yugyeom imitated you, air quotes and all. 'I had just told the group that you would be coming and most of them seemed pretty excited to meet you too,' he sighed exaggeratedly. 'Mark especially,' he put in.
'Okay okay,' you sighed giving in. 'Maybe I could come for like 2 seconds and then get out of there,' you mumbled conceding.
'I knew you would come through,' Yugyeom grinned elbowing you in the side. 'Looks like showing you that pic of Mark was worth it after all,' he teased making you blush to the roots of your hair.
'Shut up, I'm not doing this for you,' you laughed still red-faced as you motioned to pinch his arm as he hurriedly skipped out of the way still laughing.
Back to The Present
You maneuvered your way through the sea of bodies finally knowing what a sardine in a tin felt like, as you squeezed all the way to the back of the kitchen where the air was less beer saturated and you could feel some actual oxygen being pulled into your lungs. Savoring the temporary reverie, you sucked in as much clean air as you could, preparing to dive back into the mob, find your best friend, slap him and then drag him by his mustard yellow hair out of the party.
Attempting to part through the crowd was like trying to swim in honey not only was it viscous and every step felt like a drag but you cringed as bodies brushed against you, their sweaty skin staining yours.
Standing on your tiptoes, you scanned the heads of the crowd, looking out for the neon highlighter hair which caught your eye at the very back of the room.
Slipping your way through the room you were a few footsteps from your best friend when you felt a hand yank you back into the crowd. Your yelp which was lost to the din, was quickly stifled when a pair of lips brushed against your ear, a husky voice speaking into it.
'Look who decided to come,' the voice chuckled and despite its warbling you could identify it anywhere. Sure enough when you turned around, Suga was facing you his hand still clenched around your wrist to the point of pain.
'Suga,' you said carefully, trying to talk some sense into him seeing that there seemed to be more alcohol than blood in his system at the moment. 'Let go of me please,' you said tugging on your wrist, trying to break his grip, which only tightened further.
'Did Yugyeom persuade you to come hmm?' he asked, getting so close that you could feel the heat radiating from his body and the sticky slippery sweat of his skin.
'I'm sorry Suga but I really need to go,' you muttered taking a step back only to be pushed forward by the crowd.
'What's the rush (Y/N)?' he asked putting his lips to your ear and you could feel the slight curve of his lips as he grinned.
Your mind raced on all the possibilities or ways you could extricate yourself from the situation but all you could do was draw a blank. You wriggled internally in disgust, wondering how in the world you had been attracted to Yoongi in the first place.
'Hyung,' a voice came from behind you and for once you felt like thanking the gods above.
You could feel Yoongi look up in surprise as in his alcohol incoherent state somehow managed to recognize the towering figure behind you which was your best friend.
'Yugyeom,' he grinned but his grip on you was still firm as he greeted your best friend.
'Umm, (Y/N) and I need to leave,' he muttered his hand extended out for yours.
'You're her ride?' he asked bewildered. 'It's okay, she'll be safe enough here, I can send her back myself,' he suggested which made you want to slap him.
Clearly your best friend was uncomfortable too, but he kept his cool. 'Actually, it's my responsibility to make sure she arrives home safe. Isn't that right?' he asked, stepping on your toe, while simultaneously, draping a protective arm around you which you felt at that time was completely unnecessary.
'Um, I mean you're right, of course,' you smiled sweetly. 'Yugyeom picked me up from my house and we were planning to hang out for a while with his friends then go back to his place for a movie night so,' you trailed off watching as Yoongi analyzed the new information he was presented with.
It seemed that his brain was still functioning after all because he dropped your wrist suddenly as if it was covered in acid. 'I'm sorry about that,' he muttered, staggering slightly whether from the alcohol or the shock you didn't know. 'I was just fooling around, you know that right (Y/N)?' he dropped you a wink before melting into the crowd.
'Ugh let's get out of here,' you groaned pulling on Yugyeom's sleeve.
He glanced down at you, he must have seen the pallor of your face because he sobered up immediately something he rarely did and nodded, taking your arm gently, guiding you out of the room.
'That sucked,' you groaned as you slipped into the passenger seat of the car. Your comments for once, brought no reply from Yugyeom and you glanced to the left to see if he was even in the car. He was. But he was being unusually quiet, hands on the steering wheel, dark eyes faced straight on the road when most of the time you had to scream at him to keep his eyes on the road.
'Hey,' you asked softly. 'What's wrong?'
He sighed, eyes still fixated on the road. 'I shouldn't have left you there,' you muttered, unwilling to look you in the eyes. 'I just didn't expect Suga to come up to you and,' he grimaced unable to continue his sentence. 'I feel teribble for forcing you to come, especially since Mark wasn't even-,' he stopped in horror as he realized what he had accidentally let slip out.
'So,' your voice turned dangerously low. 'Mark was never there. You essentially LIED to me to get me to go to the party?' you asked arms crossed over your chest as you glared at your best friend who was rapidly turning red.
'Well, yeah sort of,' he muttered, not wanting to face your wrath. 'No one else wanted to go with meeee,' he said in his defense.
'Sure and you lied to your best friend,' you retorted.
'Awwww come on, it wasn't that bad. Other than all the drama with Suga I think you would have had a great time,' he still insisted.
'Sure, Yugs sure,' you grumbled. 'But am around the shoulder seriously? Was that the best thing you could come up with?'
'Hey, I was stressed okay?' he defended himself, nearly throwing his hands in the air, were it not for the fact that he had them placed solidly on the steering wheel. 'I saw Suga all over you and all I thought was how the hell to get you out of there,'
'But the whole school's going to think we're dating now,' you groaned putting your head in your hands in utter horror at the very thought.
'Pffft, please,' Yugyeom replied. 'Suga was so drunk that he probably couldn't remember the last thing I said, much less the entire conversation. Don't worry, you'll still get your chance with Mark,' he teased, making you blush.
'Shut up,' you mumbled but couldn't help the giggle that bubbled out which resulted in a chain reaction of both you and Yugyeom laughing your asses off, as he sped down the road into the night.
