A/N: Hello, readers. Instead of Vida helping Matoombo it will be Tanner since there's Xander in some scenes. Also, I'm skipping the scene with Phineas and Leelee because this is a Nick x Leelee fanfiction. Enjoy!

CHAPTER THIRTY - THE RETURN

𝓣𝙰𝙽𝙽𝙴𝚁

"SO, YOU GUYS REALLY ARE the Power Rangers?" Toby asked. We all nodded. "Okay. Uh, Nick is the Red Ranger." Toby said. "Right." Nick answered. "And Xander is Green." Toby said. Xander nodded.

I had my arm wrapped around Xander's bicep. "Tanner — Silver." Toby said. "Spot on." I said. "Madison — Blue." Toby said as Madison winked at him. "Chip — Yellow." Toby said as Chip pointed at his shirt. "And Vida is Pink." Toby said.

"Okay, so, Nick is also the son of Udonna, the White Ranger, and Leanbow, a powerful wizard who is also Koragg, the guy who's been trying to trash the city. But he's really a good guy. It's just that nobody knows what happened to him." Toby said. "I'm impressed, Toby. That's quite—" Madison started to say.

"Ah, I haven't finished. Now, Nick is also The Light, the power to stop evil from taking over. But the bad guys are looking for The Light so that they can destroy him and then destroy the world." Toby interrupted Madison. "Exactly." Chip said.

"Silence! Now, Leelee's mom is the Queen of the Vampires who really did carry me off, so I guess I can stop seeking professional help now." Toby said as we all laughed. "Sorry about that." Leelee apologized. "And — and— and now, the 10 Terrors are here, trying to call forth the head of the honcho himself — you know, The Master of all evil." Toby said.

"And you know what that means?" Toby asked. "It means that you guys won't be working your regular hours for a while. Looks like it might just be me and Lee-Squared for a bit." Toby finished. We were busy finishing putting on a work shirt for Phineas. Apparently, he stopped by to see Leelee but since Nick and Leelee were dating now she rejected him.

"At least Nick finally expressed his feelings to her. I'm happy for both of them. If only I could..." I stopped and looked at Xander and sighed. "My very own shirt. I'm telling you, I'll make a great employee. I have a way with people. I could sell tree moss to a swamp monkey." Phineas said.

"Okay, okay, it's 10:00. Store's open. Phineas, open the door and let the first customers in." Xander said as customers were standing outside of the door. "Just remember, use your charm and your wit." Vida added. "Uh... okay. Can I just use half my wit? Well, I don't want to use it all up day one." Phineas said as we all pushed him to the door.

"Welcome to the Rock Porium." Phineas greeted. The customers screamed as they ran off. "So, uh... How'd I do?" Phineas asked. Thunder suddenly rumbled. "Evil calls. Let's go!" Nick said as we headed out.

"My name is Matoombo. I am gathering all of your electricity. When I have it all, I will return it with a vengeance. My justice will be swift." Matoombo informed. "Not swift enough, cotton ball!" Nick claimed. "Who dares?" Matoombo asked.

"We do!" Nick replied as we showed up in our Megazords. "There is nothing you can do. It will soon be over." Matoombo said as the sky cleared again. "Not while we're here!" Nick exclaimed. "Let's stop him!" Xander added. We got out our weapon and headed to attack.

"Not so fast!" Matoombo said as he blocked us from attacking him. We ended up falling out of our Megazords. "How can he be so strong?" Daggeron asked. "Stay out of my way and I will not hurt anyone. You have my word." Matoombo said as he disappeared.

"You guys okay?" Daggeron asked. "That's strange. He said he won't hurt anyone." I said. "Yeah, right. He's lying!" Nick stated. "Nick's right. He wants to destroy the world but not hurt anyone?" Xander agreed. "We'd better split up and find him." Daggeron said as everyone went their separate ways. I followed them. I was flying my broom as I saw Matoombo. "There he is. Better call them." I said to myself as I got out my morpher to call the others.

"No. Not just yet." I decided to not call them. I was demorphed and in my Ranger outfit. as I walked to Matoombo carrying a ball. "It's called a ball." I told him as he turned around. "It's meant for play. Give it here." I said as I took the ball from him.

"Thanks. You can do lots of things with it. You can bounce it." I stated as I started bouncing the ball. "You can spin it." I continued as I spinned the ball in the air and caught it. "You can kick it!" I finished as I kicked the ball and it landed on Matoombo's face. I looked at him as he laughed.

"Ball." Matoombo said. I chuckled nervously. "Yeah, that's right. Ball. Except you're supposed to catch it before it hits you in the face." I informed as Matoombo laughed again. "You're not like the others, are you?" I asked. "What do you mean?" Matoombo asked. "You don't want to hurt anyone?" I replied. "I am Matoombo, energy warrior of the underworld!" Matoombo stated.

"You're not very evil. I just saw you save that child from getting hurt. You have a good heart." I informed. "Heart?" Matoombo questioned. "My name's Tanner. I'm the Silver Ranger." I introduced myself as I held out my hand. "Hello." Matoombo said. He went to grab my hand until he got attacked.

"Watch out, Tanner!" Xander shouted. "No!" I said. Xander began fighting Matoombo. "Stop!" I shouted. "Magic Staff!" Xander called out his staff. "Put it down, Xander!" I told him. "Tanner, he's trying to destroy our world! Morph already!" Xander said. "Put the staff down now!" I said.

"Why?" Xander asked. "Trust me." I replied. Xander finally put his staff down as he demorphed. "Thank you." I said as I felt myself calming down. "I am Matoombo, conqueror of your world!" Matoombo stated.

"See, Tanner? He's going to conquer the world. We've got to stop him." Xander informed. "No!" I said as I walked up to him. "If you conquer the world, you'll harm all of us — Me, that child you just saved. You can't conquer us without hurting us. You don't want that, do you?" I asked. "I must conquer!" Matoombo replied.

"All right, let's get to it. Start with me. I won't stop you." I told him. "So be it." Matoombo said as he pointed his sword to me. "I will do it." Matoombo said. Xander was trying to stop him. "No, Xander, stay there." I ordered. "Tanner, do you know what you're doing here?" Xander asked. "Stay there." I replied. We saw a ball of electricity. "The electricity I gathered has returned to destroy this world." Matoombo informed.

"Please, Matoombo, don't do it." I begged. Matoombo ended up destroying it. "Yes! Thank you, Matoombo! I knew you couldn't do it!" I cheered. "See, Xander? He couldn't do it!" I told him. That's when we got attacked as Matoombo rolled down the hill.

We saw Matoombo with Gekkor and Itassis. "Then you'll fall!" Gekkor exclaimed. Xander and I got into Legendary mode. "Let's help him!" I exclaimed. "Tanner!" Xander shouted. I jumped in front of Matoombo as I got attacked. I rolled to the ground. Matoombo and Gekkor were fighting as the others joined us. "Tanner!" Daggeron shouted.

"We can't let him do this!" I said. Gekkor attacked Matoombo. "It's over! You will be The Master's body, like it or not!" Gekkor said. "I've got to do something." I stated as I did the first thing that came to mind and grabbed Daggeron's train card. "Tanner, no!" Daggeron said.

"Come on, Solar Streak!" I shouted as I called the train. "All aboard!" Jenji said. "Come on, Jenji!" I said as I grabbed his lamp. I helped Matoombo up as we left. "Come on." I said as I guided him through the train. "Come on, sit down." I said as Matoombo sat down. "Are you all right?" I asked. "Yes, I'm much better now." Matoombo replied. "Good." I said.

That's when Gekkor appeared. "Matoombo, it's over! You cannot escape me or your fate!" Gekkor stated. "We'll see!" I said. "Yes, we will!" Gekkor agreed. I began fighting him. "You can't defeat me!" Gekkor exclaimed as he attacked me and I fell to the ground. "For the last time, get out of my way!" Gekkor said.

"Tanner! Duck!" Matoombo said as he attacked Gekkor. "Magic Staff — Energy Vortex!" I shouted as Gekkor sinked underground and out of the train. I was demorphed as I was walking through the Dawn dimension.

"It's so beautiful here." I commented. "Yes, it sets the mind at ease." Matoombo agreed. "Tanner!" I heard Xander shout. "Xander?" I questioned. Matoombo suddenly got attacked. Gekkor suddenly appeared as Xander and I helped Matoombo up. "There's nowhere to run, traitor! Surrender to The Master or be destroyed!" Gekkor exclaimed.

Xander and I walked in front of Matoombo. "Legend Warriors!" We both shouted as we morphed into Legendary mode. We blocked Gekkor's attacks. "He's firing too many!" I exclaimed. "One is too many!" Xander said. Gekkor attacked Xander as he staff flew in the air. He was about to attack Xander again until Matoombo blocked him.

"Matoombo!" I shouted. Matoombo kneeled to the ground. "You took the hit that was meant for me. Why?" Xander asked. "Fools!" Gekkor exclaimed. Xander went up to attack him. "Get out of my way!" Gekkor said as Xander fell to the ground. He grabbed his staff and attacked Gekkor as we disappeared.

I was disguised as Matoombo as Xander and I were running away from Gekkor. But we kept getting attacked. "Come on! Get up!" Xander said. "Playtime is over, Matoombo. Now I — what?" Gekkor said. That's when he noticed something.

"What? The Silver Ranger?" Gekkor questioned. "You can't trick me!" Gekkor said as he attacked me and I turned back to my Ranger form. "You're a 2-time loser — ugly and gullible." I stated. "With you chasing us, our tall, cotton-headed friend had enough time to get away to the Sleeping Lake. Explain that one to your Master." Xander added.

Gekkor said nothing as he attacked us. Xander and I began fighting him. "Tanner!" Xander shouted as he began fighting Gekkor. "Xander!" I shouted as both of us started fighting Gekkor again. He then attacked both of us. "Now is the end!" Gekkor said as he headed for us. "Think again, lizard-breath!" Nick shouted as the others showed up.

"You guys all right?" Nick asked. "I've been better." I answered. "Welcome to the dance. Shall we?" Gekkor asked as he began attacking all of us. "He's too fast!" Xander exclaimed. "You haven't seen anything yet! Here is my full power!" Gekkor said as he attacked us once more.

Gekkor began walking away until Leanbow saved us by blocking his magic power. "Leanbow!" Gekkor said. "Dad!" Nick exclaimed. We were all shocked. "Good job, Rangers. Well done, son." Leanbow said. "Thanks." Nick said. "I'll take it from here." Leanbow informed.

"I thought you were—" Gekkor started to say. "I'm not." Leanbow interrupted as he got out a morpher. "Magical Source, Mystic Force!" Leanbow shouted. Leanbow basically turned into Koragg but instead of purple armor he had red armor. "Burning heart of fire! Wolf Warrior, defender of truth!" Leanbow shouted.

"But how?" Gekkor questioned. "Udonna's good magic saved me." Leanbow explained. "The world has been kept whole because of these Rangers." Leanbow continued. "We're safe because of you!" Xander said. "And we're all safe because of Matoombo." I added. "How sweet. While you continue your love-fest, I think I'll destroy you." Gekkor said.

"Not this time." Leanbow said. He began fighting Gekkor. "In the name of honor, Blazing Storm Slash!" Leanbow shouted as he destroyed Gekkor. We were all demorphed as we rushed up to Leanbow. Xander looked at me.

"What's wrong, Tanner? You should be happy." He said. "I am.  I'm just really gonna miss Matoombo." I replied. Xander nodded. "I'll miss him, too." Xander said. That's when the sky turned dark and thunder crashed and Matoombo appeared.

"Matoombo!" I said. Matoombo ended up getting attacked as I scooted closer to Xander and he wrapped his arm around my waist. "I'm here!" The Master said as he laughed evilly. "The Master's returned." Leanbow stated. "You will perish, as will Solaris Knight. Have a look into your future." The Master said.

Daggeron's head started hurting as did mine. It wasn't for the same reasons though. "And then, one by one, you will fall, as will your world." The Master said as he disappeared and the sky turned normal. I saw flashes of the others and I in a cave loosing our powers. Then I saw us getting our magic back by the power of the surface world and the magic world.

"Now this... this is bad." Nick stated.
