TRAILING behind the king of sadism, Kuro heaved a tired sigh as she thought out her next steps. Honestly, she dreaded this plan of hers as soon as Indra decided to butt in.

It was simple: Negotiate with Zabuza, and if he didn't listen, beat him into submission. And then get him to ally with her, and end that transportation guy or whatever his name was. To be honest, his name went in one ear and out the other as soon as it entered as she deemed it insignificant.

But now, phase one of her plan was thrown out the window. She now had to babysit a ticking time bomb, not that she minded. The man had an attractive face.

"What was your plan anyways?" Hearing his low voice suddenly fill the empty silence that surrounded them, causing Kuro to flinch.

'Fuck that scared me,' she thought as she looked at him.

"To barge in and drag him by the ears?" She said although it trailed off into a question as she tilted her head to the side. Okay, let's get this straightβ€” she absolutely had no plan whatsoever, but was she willing to admit that to Indra? No way in hell.

"So there was no plan," he concluded as he scoffed and turned away.

It's not like he was wrong, but she still felt offended.

"For your information, you completely ruined phase one of my plan. And it was a one-man plan, not a two-man plan," she said as she scowled at him. The urge to punch him in the face filled her being as she stared at him.

"You're weird," he stated as he turned around and walked away.

"Says the one with facial paralysis," she said loud enough for him to hear only to be ignored. She stopped in her tracks as she sensed a familiar chakra. "It should be here," she said.

Indra looked at her as she walked past him and raised her leg.

"Rise and shine, you unfortunate souls," she said as she kicked the wall down causing the two inside to jump in alarm.

"It's you two," Zabuza said as he scowled and held his sword, while the nin next to him held senbon needles.

"Whoa there Momo-chan, no need to get aggressive, we're just here to talk," Kuro said with a cheshire smile.

"Don't call me that, kid," he said irritated. "And what's there to talk about?"

"I assure you it'll be worth your time, but if you wanna fight, you can take it out with him," she said as she pointed at Indra who held a passive face.

Locking eyes with him, Zabuza shivered as Indra's face suddenly adorned a smile. A smile that promised pain. He lowered his sword and looked back at Kuro who sent him a knowing look.

"Alright, we'll hear you out," he said.

"Does that make any sense to you?" Zabuza asked as Kuro finished narrating Gato's motives and how he plans to dispose of him.

"I would be surprised if it didn't. I mean come on, if it was me and I hired a wanted criminal, of course, I'd get rid of him before he gets a chance to betray me. Especially one with a history like yours," she said. "And Gato doesn't seem like the person to leave loose ends, even if he doesn't succeed. I'll guarantee you that if you go on with this plan, you'll lose your life, as well as the cute little boy next to you," she smiled as Haku fidgeted, embarrassed at the sudden compliment.

"I still can't just abandon a mission I was paid to do," he said with a sigh.

"Then we'll do it the merchant way, I'll pay you double what he paid you," she said.

"And where will a kid like you get that amount of money?" He asked.

"I'm rich," she simply said. "Proceed with your original plan, just tone it down," she waved them off and dragged Indra with her.

After getting some distance from the hideout, Indra spoke up again. "Just what are you planning?"

"Trying to acquire two useful sla-servents," she said. "Ah, by the way, did Sasuke acquire his sharingan yet?"

"No, why," this question piqued his interest.

"Then, do you trust me?" She asked, ignoring his question as she let go of his hand and turned to look at him.

He stared at her, curious as to where she was going with this.

"No I don't," he bluntly stated.

Of course. She sighed and mentally cried.

"Just promise not to kill me," she said.

"Fine," he finally agreed causing her to smile and hand him another box of dango, which he happily took.

'Guess this part is going to follow the manga,'
