*triing!~
The bell placed on top of the door ringed as the girl had just entered the shop. Her presence indicating that working hours were about to begin. She flipped the beautifully covered sign on the door that had the words closed written on it to open.
Showing that the flower shop had just opened and was ready for visits.
"Oh Lily, you've finally arrived!" The store owner called out once she had just gotten back from the storage room. Her hands full with flowers, a bright smile appearing on the old women's face when seeing the girls attendance.
"Sorry Mrs, Yang for arriving a bit late. I had to stop by the post office to pick up a letter." Lily immediately apologises as she quickly places her belongings down before taking an apron and placing it above her head. Tying the back into a bow before she went over to Mrs, Yang and took some of the flowers that were in the older womens hands.
"No worries dear, you weren't even that late. Was the letter that you were picking up a letter from that penpal of yours?" She asks as the girl nodded her head a yes whilst smiling sheepishly.
"How long have you and your penpal been writing to each other? Seems like you've created a close bond with them." Mrs, Yang questions as Lily thought of it for a second.
"Nearly two years? If I'm not mistaken. I honestly didn't think that we'd still be writing to each other for this long. I guess I've gotten quite attached to his letters."
"His? Ooh, is this penpal of yours a guy." The women teases as Lily rapidly shakes her head in embarrassment. Her cheeks tinted rose.
"I just like writing to him, nothing else!" She interferes. Mrs, Yang couldn't help surpass her laughter.
"Aigoo you're so cute dear. Who's this penpal of yours if you don't mind me asking?"
Once Lily had calmed down, she finally manages to speak.
"We go by nicknames. Well I still go by Lili when I write to him, but he goes by injun. It's a cute nickname." She answers.
The older women could only smile sweetly at her.
"Right then, we should get working! Costumers are going to be coming soon to pick up their orders, oh and also! There's someone new that is going to be working with us too so we better clean the place up a bit to give them a warm welcome." Mrs, Yang informs. The information of a new person joining them intrigued the girl, its been a long time since anyone new had joined them. People aren't usually interested about being a florist, so this was a bit surprising.

hi, I'm back (again) surprisingly. I finished reading a book that my classmate let me borrowed and idk after I was done reading it, it gave me motivation to write kekeke.
This is a 'what if Lily and Renjun had never met before' book. So it isn't at all connected to Cold or the other books. I'm just recycling characters bec whenever I need to find a new name for an oc for a renjun book, I just can't let go of Lily ๐ she's special to me ok ใ ใ but their characteristics will stay the same though :OOO!
Still not sure if this'll be a short book or a long one. We'll see, we'll see. Also no promises for daily updates bec I'm busy with school and I have other important things to do (like analyse and annotate poems and a novel for English /cries*/) but I hope you'll enjoy reading this. I as well cbb to write disclaimers, you all must memorise my disclaimers by heart if you've been following for long hahah.
Without further ado, I hope you enjoy your time here <3
