AS SOON AS the T-birds and Olivia were in sight of the school, Stephanie and Cynthia started to walk with them to the brick hell awaiting them. As always, Cynthia had on something that didn't match, which Richie had to comment on. "Oh, look. It's the belle of the ball!"

Cynthia just rolled her eyes and placed her hand in her pocket. Before she could respond to his comment, Stephanie was already speaking. "Change your face, Richie, or I'll rearrange it."

Olivia smiled and patted her friend on the back. "Let her do it, Chato. Can't get uglier than what you've got now."

The two siblings started speaking in private, and Stephanie tuned out of their conversation as she watched Gil smack a guy's books out of his hands. She rolled her eyes and helped the geek pick up his things. The boy smiled at her, but she just handed him his things and stood up. "Why did you have to do that?" She asked, turning to Gil, who was waiting for her to stop helping the boy so he could smack the books again.

"It's fun, Steph. Maybe you should try it sometime." He laughed as he hit the boy's books out of his hands again. This time the boy did not receive help from the Zdunowski girl.

Steph was about to respond to his comment, but Olivia tapped her shoulder. "You ready?" She asked, motioning to her outfit under the jacket she was wearing.

Steph smiled and took off her own jacket, earning wide eyes from Gil. "Put your jacket back on, Stephanie." He said while trying to cover her with his T-Bird jacket.

Steph looked at Olivia only to see her brother was acting just like the boy in front of her. She laughed and grabbed Olivia's hand, "Let's go, cariΓ±o."

Olivia smiled and threw her jacket over her shoulder while Stephanie handed hers to her sister. The pair walked up the sidewalk and into the school, earning wolf whistles and stares from guys outside the school. But Olivia and Stephanie didn't pay any attention to any of them. They just smiled at each other and laughed.

Olivia had a hard time since the whole teacher-student thing got out. But Stephanie stood by her and asked if she wanted to make an impression the boys at school would remember. Of course, the answer was yes, and that's why they were both in tight skirts with button-up tops and a scarf to match. Olivia was wearing red and yellow. While Steph had opted for blue and purple.

"That was amazing," Olivia whispered to Stephanie.

Steph held a smile on her face. "That was just the beginning," She snickered. "Now, onto the real fun."

The girls walked out to the eating area of the school. Olivia walked straight, not sparing glances at anyone. While Stephanie waved to a few guys who were staring at her. She was pulled out of her trance by Olivia, who had let go of her hand and was leaning towards some preppy jock.

"Maybe you've heard," She was using a seductive voice. Steph raised her eyebrows. "I don't fraternize with high school boys."

She then turned around and walked away. Stephanie followed after her laugh. Steph patted her friend on the back. "Can we talk about how cool that was?"

Olivia rolled her eyes but smiled brightly. "I don't know what you're talking about." She mumbled nonchalantly.

Steph was about to speak again, but Mr. Daniels walked by the two girls. He kept his eyes off Olivia. Steph grabbed Olivia's hand, "Let's go find the boys." She mumbled, pulling Olivia towards the bleachers.

"I want to be alone if that's okay," Olivia said while holding her book up to Stephanie's face and shaking it. "I've got some things to do."

Steph nodded, "I'll leave you alone, bookworm."

Olivia shook her head and went behind the bleachers while Stephanie went to sit with Cynthia and the T-Birds. She sat down in front of Gil and beside her sister. "Do you want this back yet?" Cynthia asked, motioning to the jacket she was now wearing.

"No," Steph mumbled, looking over her sister's outfit. "It looks nice with your outfit though the gray matches the skirt."

Cynthia made a face and took off the jacket. "You ruined it."

Stephanie couldn't help but smile at her sister, who was now throwing the jacket off the bleachers. "You didn't have to do that."

Cynthia just rolled her eyes and sighed. Gil tapped on Stephanie's shoulder, she turned around, and he motioned to the purse she was carrying. "What?" She asked.

"You have a mirror thing in there?" He asked.

She rolled her eyes and opened the small purse. Pulling out a flip mirror, she handed it to Gil. He flipped it open and looked at his hair. Then he handed it back. "What was the point of that?" Steph asked as she put the mirror back in her purse. "Your hair looked fine."

He just shook his head and smiled smugly. She rolled her eyes. Gil was about to comment on her outfit, but Susan caught his attention. Steph didn't hear all of the conversation, but she did hear Richie exclaim, "Kissing you is like going through a car wash without a car!"

His comment caused everyone on the bleachers to start laughing at Susan, which caused her to scream and stomp away. "Uh-oh," Gil muttered as Susan ran to her preppy's.

The T-Birds (including Cynthia and Stephanie) got off the bleachers and walked behind Richie. Olivia got out from under the bleachers and followed after the group as Susan yelled at the other Socs. "I had one soda with him last night to be nice, and now he won't leave me alone."

"She's flipped!" Richie said. "She's been tracking me like a bloodhound all day!"

Susan crossed her arms. "As if I would chase after a boy like him."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Olivia asked from her place behind her brother.

A tall, lanky guy stepped out from behind Susan. "It means she doesn't wanna be bothered by any lowlife, dirty greasers." He then turned and looked at Olivia and Stephanie, giving them both a look over. "Or their whore's."

Richie lunged at the boy and yelled, "Nobody talks about-" he was cut off as a guy grabbed him.

Stephanie took it as her chance to lunge at the boy. Gil grabbed her arms and held her back. "Don't let him bother you," Gil whispered in her ear as she tried to get out of his grip. "Show him you don't care."

Steph slowly stopped swinging her arms in the air and calmed down, but even then, Gil didn't let go of her. Stephanie didn't complain though she would never say it out loud. But he had a way of calming her down with a single touch. She figured that out the day they met.

Stephanie's thoughts were cut off by a girl in a letterman's jacket running between the two groups. "Wait!" She yelled. "Richie was telling the truth. I saw it. I was under the bleachers."

Susan plastered on a smile. "Well, that figures."

A few people laughed at her joke, but most just stood there and waited for what would happen next. The girl with glasses took a deep breath and kept talking. "Richie rejected Susan for a second date, not the other way around." Richie smiled and puffed out his chest. "But, he was a little rude about it."

Cynthia rolled her eyes, "Richie Valdovinos has never even had a second date."

"Yeah," Olivia said. "Not with a girl like her."

The nerdy girl just kept going. "Susan, someone could get hurt."

Susan turned and looked at everyone behind her, then back at the T-Birds. "I may have exaggerated a little."

Buddy Aldridge pushed his way to the front. "Okay, that's it. Everybody, move on." He motioned for the Socs to leave.

The tall, lanky boy turned around again. "Just remember your place here at Rydell, turkeys."

Richie held his fist up and shook his head, then all the T-birds started to walk away. Steph turned around and looked at the nerdy girl, she was going to go talk to her, but Gil placed his arm around her shoulders. "Let's go get your jacket back, huh?"

She pushed his arm off her, but her face held a small smile. "Okay, Gilligan, but if it fell into the mud. I don't want it anymore."

They walked a little further behind the bleachers before Gil picked up what used to be a nice gray jacket that was now covered in dirt. "I'm guessing you're not going to wear this?" He motioned to the rag in his hand.

Steph shook her head. "Dirt doesn't really go with my outfit."

Gil's face held a smug smile as he discarded his black leather jacket. "You can borrow mine."

Stephanie was taken aback. Gil Rizzo had offered her his jacket before, but that was only for a night. He had never let anyone wear it for a whole day. Before she could protest, Gil had already wrapped it around her shoulders. He stood back and looked at her, "It looks nice on you. Definitely matches the blue."

She rolled her eyes but kept the jacket on. "I'm only wearing this to piss off Cynthia."

He smiled. "Okay, whatever you say."

Then they both walked their separate ways, Stephanie was going to class, and he was skipping school.
