"Why are you making such a
big deal out of this?"

~Another week had passed. The last week Karasunos volleyball team had to themselves before they went to the spring tournament. They had been preparing to face Seijoh and this time, advance to the next round.

Sugawara had invited the girl he loved over for a simple movie and snacks.

Though, they hadn't even seen one bit. He was hovering over her, stealing kisses and causing her to giggle.

They had been doing that for the past hour. Not that either of them complained. The girl had been content with the kisses that she had been receiving. She wanted nothing more from the boy on top of her.

Sugawara felt like he was on cloud nine. He had her face cupped in his hands as he detached and reattached their lips. They could both feel each other's smiles.

The pretty setter pulled back just to look at her flushed face. She was just smiling up at him. He took a mental photo of the pretty sight.

"What?" She asked as she laughed a little.

"Nothing I just.."

He stared at her. Her eyes and smile wide, waiting for him to continue. Now...

"I just love you..." He whispered so casually. It was loud enough for her to hear.

Her smile slowly faded. Sugawara began to regret his words.

"Forget it. Forget I said anything!" He panicked.

She closed her eyes and shook her head, "But you said it. And now there's no going back. Get off."

He leaned back as she sat up. She stared at her lap as he stared at her. Her eyes were plain, as if thinking of what she was going to do next. Sugawara's eyes had fear written all over them.

"Y/N, I-"

"Forget it. I'm going home. This is over in every way possible." She interrupted as she stood up.

"Why are you making such a big deal out of this?!" He questioned.

"Because! You said 'no feelings'! So that's what I did! I don't have any intentions in dating you, Sugawara. This was supposed to be for fun not for you to catch feelings and hope you get a girlfriend!" She yelled at the silver haired boy.

"I didn't recently catch feelings!" He yelled back.

"Huh?" She softly let out.

He looked at the ground and sighed, "3 years. I have loved you for 3 long years. You don't know how bad you hating me, hurt me. You're the real reason I got over Chiyo. Please. Let's just talk about this. Please!" He begged. "Or at least let me take it back! Pretend I never said it!"

The (H/C) haired girl just stared at him. She never wanted to hurt the boy. She figured that if their hook up ended, it would be on mutual terms. Not like this.

"No. I'm sorry Sugawara." She grabbed her jacket and ran out of his bedroom.

The setter went after her, calling her name and begging for her to stay.

When she walked out of his house, it was raining.

'How cliche. That boy probably controls the weather.' She thought.

"Y/N!"

She heard him yell.

"You're just like Chiyo!"

She stopped walking. There was a small moment of silence. She turned around and saw him standing at his door, not going out into the rain. Her hair and clothes were already drenched.

"Please stay until it stops raining. You're gonna get sick."

"Sorry, but if I'm like Chiyo, then you should stay away from me." She said as she turned around and ran.

Once she was far enough from his house, she began walking. It was cold and she was panting from her run.

Then, she noticed a familiar white car pull up next to the curb. The window from the passenger seat was rolled down and she saw Seijoh's captain sitting in the drivers seat.

"Y/N!? Are you dumb!? What are you doing out here just walking so slowly!? Get in!" He worriedly told her.

She got in his car and he quickly turned the heater on.

"I'm sorry, Tooru. Your seats gonna get wet." She quietly told him.

"Where were you coming from?" He asked.

"Sugawara's house." She confessed.

"Oh. Did you have a good time?"

She only shook her head, not wanting to tell him what happened.

"Well, I'm not turning back to take you home so looks like you're spending the night with me. I'm pretty sure you left your uniform there from when you slept over a couple days ago so I'll wash it and I can take you to school tomorrow. Is that okay?"

"Yeah. I don't care."

Oikawa began driving to his home.

He began to feel a little better since he got the hint that Sugawara had obviously fucked up and pissed Y/N off.

Karasunos setter, on the other hand, was completely broken.

The girl he cared for so deeply had just tore his heart in two.

And He tried to blame other people.

Akaashi, for putting himself into her life and possibly being the reason she doesn't want to date him.

Oikawa, for obviously being in love with her and maybe she didn't want to hurt his feelings.

Chiyo and Nishinoya, for prying into their lives and trying to mess everything up.

In the end, he only blamed himself for expecting too much from her. Especially since she's continuously said that they were never going to be anything more.
