*triing!
Jieun entering the police station as she had just gotten back from her friends place. The station busy as people were running around, going in and out of the place. Some were holding a huge bucket of paper that could be enough to hand out to a whole auditorium of people. Some of them were busy investigating a case that's been active for a while now.
She went over to the head of the station. Going inside the chief officers room as she was greeted by an officer that sat by his desk.
"Hi dad." The girl greeted as she manages to catch his attention. The older man looking up from his work as he flashes his daughter a smile.
"Ah Jieun perfect timing!" He exclaims as he ushered her to sit down in front of him.
"Why you look quiet excited. Solved a case?" She questions before sitting down. The man shook his head a no.
"Actually, we got another case. A family reported that their son has been getting threatening letters from an anonymous sender. They wanted us to come and investigate the person behind it all." Her father explained.
"Ok, good luck on that then." She said as she laid back on the chair. It was one of those wheely chairs so she was fidgeting in her seat.
"That's not all. Since they're scared over their son's safety, they also requested for us to send them one of our people that could work as the son's bodyguard and protect him at all cost." He continued as she spun around in her seat.
"Well thats easy, you could send Eric. He'd make a good bodyguard." Jieun muttered.
"Well, I've already given them the name of the person whom i think would make a good bodyguard. And I picked, you." Her dad dropped the bombshell on her as she looked at him in utter shock before falling off the chair.
"WHAT?!--- shit*." Jieun getting up in pain and she slaps her hand on his desk.
"You want me to be a what?!?" She exclaimed at him in terror.
"I want you to be the bodyguard for this family's son." He repeated himself as she wipes her face with her hands in annoyance.
"Ugh I don't have time to babysit this guy, I have much more important things like finding out who murdered my freaking mother." She reasons as her fathers expression did not even change a bit. He still looked at her with the same blank and collective expression.
"Jieun dear, please its been years since your mother was murdered. If I couldn't find her murderer than how could you?" Her father tried to talk to her. Talking to her with a calm tone, making sure that she doesn't misunderstand his words.
"Well maybe you didn't search hard enough. I'm going to find who the culprit is, dead or alive so the family could be at peace again." She says before sitting back down. Crossing her arms as she stares at him with a brow raised.
He soothed the wrinkles on his temple before letting out a sigh.
"I'm not stopping you from your own investigation Jieun, I never will." He stated before flashing her a soft smile.
"I just think that you were the only one fit to be the bodyguard for this family. I was planning to pick Eric for the job but the family did say to me that they'd prefer if it was a girl because the previous bodyguards that were males did not work out well."
"Of course he didn't like the male bodyguards omg." She complains as she pinches the bridge of her nose in irritation.
"And, the family were kind enough to pay for your school fee's if you decide to work for them."
That statement making her look at him in curiosity.
"Eun, I exist you know? He's eighteen now, he's not a kid anymore who needs to be taken care of. Have some faith in him." Her father said as a chuckle left his lips at the end over how overprotective his daughter was for her younger brother.
"Fine." She said in final before looking away.
"Fine what?" Her father provokes her to get a clear answer.
"Fine I'll work as his bodyguard. But I need informations about him first before I officially work for him." She said as a proud smile cascades it's way on her father's face.
The man pulling out a file out of his drawers and handed it over to her.
"Here are some information on the client. Here's his student profile."
"Na jaemin. A popular figure skater." Jieun read through his information. "You're telling me that I have to take care of this pretty boy? God he's freaking popular, no wonder why someone is after him and his family. Some jealous maniac must hate him." She said before closing the file.
"And its your job to catch the culprit. Your work starts tomorrow, you'll be moving in with them soon." Her father informs as a defeated sigh left her lips.
"Sweet, how fun yay.."

"This is your room. It's right besides Jaemin's, I hope you don't mind that. If you're not comfortable with that then I could tell my parents to move your room so it'll be closer to mines?" Jaemin's older sister, Kirana spoke. Two years older older him. Honestly she was so sweet Jieun didn't dare to speak back to her.
"Ah its fine. You don't have too, really." She said as the older girl smiles at her.
"Well you should greet Jaemin then, the two of you should try to get along. If you need me then I'll be in the kitchen. Bye Jieun, hope your first day goes well." Kirana waves her goodbye before leaving her alone.
She just stood there in front of his door. Debating whether she should knock on his door and greet him this early after her arrival or just go inside her room and rethink her decisions on why in hell she even wanted to accept this job.
"You could do it. I'm going to be stuck with him for who knows how long until I find the culprit." She spoke to herself before getting all the courage to knock on his door.
*knock knock!
The sound of movement could be heard from the other side of the door. Jieun quickly straightening her posture as she waits for him to open the door.
The door flung open as she was met with a pair of gorgeous eyes with long lashes.
"Hi-"
"What the fuck." The lad muttered before shutting his door back closed.
Well that wasn't how she'd pictured their first encounter to turn out like.
"Ya open the door! Jaemin!" She yells and continously knocked on the door.
"Who the hell are you?!" He shouted from the other side.
"Someone who's surpringly not going to harm you." She replies jokingly.
"I'm your new stupid bodyguard, there! Now open the door for goodness sakes." She finally tells him. She was so close to banging the door down.
The door opened again as he stood there, staring at her anxiously.
"Are you really the new bodyguard that my parents hired?" He asks, wanting her to clarify it again.
"For the second time, yes!?"
"Well fuck." Jaemin said in distress before shutting the door on her face for the second time.
Honestly what was wrong with this guy.
...
"And then he just shuts the door on my face again like what the heck?!" Jieun ranted to Kirana. The two of them in the kitchen as Jieun told her about her strange encounter with Jaemin. The two of them were already getting close. Can't say the same for Jaemin though.
The older girl couldn't help surpass a laughter.
"Jaemin he's... a bit strange. I think he just lacks the presence of a female, that's why he acted like that." Said Kirana.
"Aren't you a female though?" She questions back.
"I mean like other than me and my mother. He barely interacts with any girls in campus, refuses to go out with any of them too." His older sister explains.
"Wow ok women hater."
"I am not a women hater, for your information." Jaemin's voice that ringed in the air managed to scare her.
SINCE WHEN WAS HE BEHIND HER??
"The girls in school are just... annoying. I don't like how desperate some of them are. My friends could date them for all I care." He reasons as he opens the fridge.
"Maybe you just haven't found the right one Jaem." His sister spoke. The lad just shaking his head.
"I doubt I would like any of them." He said before closing the fridge after getting a piece of cake out.
He sat down besides Jieun. The girl side eyeing him as she watches him eat.
This guy is so freaking weird.
"What's your name? I didn't manage to ask earlier." He asks, not even sparing her a glance.
"Jieun. Park Jieun. You better get used to me being around now case I'll be stuck with you for who knows how long." She answers as he only nods his head.
Kirana who was busy watching the two couldn't help but to smile when seeing them interact.
...
it's midnight and I'm tired and I'm sorry if the pictures are blurry. Idk what happened when i was writing down the information π₯²
