Obi-Wan's POV

The sound of the machines beeps filled the room as I sat by Anakin's side. I've been here all night and I watched him flat-line twice. It was agonizing seeing him in this condition. He had a bruised face, a hole in his abdomen, and tubes going down his throat. They're really doing the best they can but they don't think he's going to make it. They expect his body to give out within the next few days.

I still held hope. But I'm not sure if it really is hope or if I was in denial. I didn't want to believe that in the next few days he was really going to be gone. Leaving a gaping hole in my heart that not even Satine could fill.

I wasn't alone though, Ahsoka, Padme, Satine, Rex, Fives, and Echo were all in here. The nurse tried kicking some of them out, but of course, she received the wrath of Padme and quickly gave up. I held onto Anakin's right hand and Ahsoka was holding onto his left. We haven't let go in hours, not since his last flat-line.

"General Kenobi." I heard the voice of Cody fill the room.

"What is it Cody?" I asked without looking away from Anakin.

"We found her."

My head snapped up and I looked to him, "Where?"

"We just received word from our clones out stationed on Endor that her and Rey just landed. They're keeping their distance for now, awaiting orders sir."

I stood up and reluctantly let go of Anakin. "Tell them to stay hidden but to make sure they don't leave, I'm getting a ship ready now."

"I'm coming with you." Ahsoka spoke up with a weak voice, most likely due to her being exhausted from crying.

"No, stay with him," I looked around the room at all the eyes on me, "All of you stay with him, I want to go alone." I took one last look at Anakin and left the room before anyone else could try stopping me. I didn't need them to see what I planned to do.

I know it had to have been Rey who sent Savage. If it was Maul, he would have sent him to me or just come himself. But no, Rey is afraid of Anakin, so I know it was her. And I'm going to kill her for it. Then I am going to drag (y/n) back here by her hair if I have to. This woman messed with my family too much and I've had it, I'm done being the calm one. I'm done being civilized.

(y/n)'s/Izdaja's POV

"Feeling better?" Rey asked me as we walked down the ramp of the ship.

"Kind of," I sighed as I stepped into the hot sun, "I think I just had some bad food or something." I stretched my arms and let out a yawn, I felt like I haven't slept in days. "So, why are we here?"

"Because," She grabbed onto my arm to lead me into the thick forest, "This is where he kept it."

"Where who kept what?" I slightly rolled my eyes at her vagueness.

"You'll see." She continued pulling me through the forest. After a few minutes or so a metal building came into a view. It was small though, maybe the size of a storage unit.

"You brought me out here to show me a box?" I looked at her a little annoyed, I still wasn't feeling that well and she had to practically shove me into the ship.

She rolled her eyes, "This 'box' controls the entire droid army. I'm turning them off." She walked past me towards the entrance.

"Wait, off? I thought you were gonna use them?" I asked confused, her plans were always shifting that it was so hard to keep up.

"Oh I am," She opened the door with the force, it was the kind of door that had no handle so you had to use the force if you wanted to open it, Sidious was cautious. I followed her inside, "But I don't need them all, the ones we're going to be using are already hidden underneath Coruscant and I had them programmed to turn on with this." She smiled as she held up a remote control. "This way, all the droids that I have no use for will power down immediately, the Jedi will assume the war is over when they see all the shut down droids. Also all the separatist leaders are dead so there's that. And with no war they will no longer need their clones, so they will set them free and the Jedi Temple will be even easier to get into." She shrugged and spoke like it was the most simple plan ever. If I'm being honest, she lost me like halfway through.
( I hope this explanation doesn't sound dumb, it sounded so much better in my head.)

I nodded like I was listening, "Sounds great." I smiled.

She continued to fiddle with the controls and I started to have a familiar feeling. It took me a moment while I felt around the force but then it became clearer than ever. I let a smile creep up on my lips, "I'll be at the ship when you're done." I told her and she nodded without giving me a glance. She was too lost in what she was doing that I doubt she felt it. Plus I had a stronger connection with this person.

I walked calmly through the forest the same way I came. It took me a moment but I made my way back to my ship. And there he was, standing in front of mine like he was waiting for us to show up.

I stopped so I was about ten feet away from him,"Obi-Wan, always a pleasure." I chuckled as I held my hand near the handle of my lightsaber.

"Where is Rey?" He glared at me and then his eyes searched behind me. I could feel the anger coming off of him.

"Not here." I shrugged, "I'm surprised you didn't bring your little pet."

"He's busy fighting for his life thanks to that friend of yours," He spat, this was one of the first times that I have ever seen him truly angry.

Wait, what did he just say?

"What are you talking about?" I questioned and he snorted as he took a few steps closer to me.

"Anakin is dying."

I felt a small pain in my chest, but it quickly disappeared. "What a shame."

"I know you still care (y/n), you can hide your feelings from her but not me." He shook his head as he continued moving closer.

"Why should I even believe you? It's not the first I would be lied to involving his life." I glared at him, "And you want to try and blame Rey." I scoffed.

"Of course she didn't tell you," He shook his head and let out a sigh, "She doesn't tell you anything, she's been manipulating you from the beginning."

"From how I see it, it was all of you who manipulated me. You all lied to me, pretended to love me, and then abandoned me." I held in tears that were trying to escape my eyes as I glared at him in anger.

"We do love you and I don't know if we can ever make up for what we did," He sighed sadly, "But this isn't who you are, come home." He held his hand out to me and he inched closer. "Anakin needs you and you need him," He got closer so he was now only four feet away with his hand still out for me to take.

"I don't know." I whimpered as the internal battle in me went at about a thousand miles per minute.

"I have proof that Rey intentionally hid that footage of Damon and you from the council, no one abandoned you there." He reached into his pocket and I grabbed onto the handle of my lightsaber in defense. I didn't know if I should believe him or not, I didn't believe Rey would do something like that. Or would she?

I'm so confused, I don't know who to trust anymore.

Obi-Wan's POV

I was reaching her, I didn't think I would come close to it but here I was. I just needed to show her the footage and hopefully that will be enough for her to come home. I pulled out my hand-held device out so I could put in the drive and show her the hologram. She watched me curiously but before I could show her, She fell to the ground.

I looked up to see Rey standing behind her with a rock in her hand, the one she just used to knock (y/n) unconscious. "Wow you were so close." She chuckled and she used the force to push me back and I landed a few feet away. She tossed the rock to the side and used the force to lift (y/n) up from the ground so she was floating in the air along side her as she strutted near me.

I stood up and went to grab my lightsaber, "I'm going to kill you for what you did to Anakin." I growled in anger.

In response she grabbed her lightsaber but instead of pointing it at me, she held it to (y/n)'s neck. "I don't think so. You're going to tell those clones over there behind those trees to stand down and you're going to get out of my way or I cut her head off. Your choice." She shrugged.

I looked to (y/n) then back to Rey, "You wouldn't, you need her."

She moved the lightsaber closer causing me to panic a little, "Not as much as you do." She smiled sadistically and I knew she won.

I waved my hand for the clones to stand down and I reluctantly moved away from their ship. She walked up her ramp with (y/n) floating by her, "I'll find you." I growled.

"You won't need to, I'll see you soon." She winked and the ramp to her ship closed, less than a minute later, it lifted up and disappeared in the atmosphere.

(y/n)'s/Izdaja's POV

I opened my eyes and the bright sun was shining down on me, but it wasn't warm, which I found to be odd. I was lying in a patch of grass and I sat up to see that I was in a field of grass and flowers, surrounded by waterfalls. I looked down at my clothes and I was wearing a yellow dress, similar to something Padme would wear, "Where am I?" I mumbled to myself.

"My dream."

I snapped my head up to look towards the voice. It was Anakin, he was sitting next to me, looking in front of us at the waterfalls. "How did I get here?" I asked as I looked around my surroundings.

He let out a chuckle, "What do you mean? You're always here." He turned to look at me and he held a smile on his face. "You look beautiful." His eyes scanned around my face for a moment before his smile eventually fell. " I just wish you were real." He sighed before looking away.

Am I really in his dream? How is this possible?

I continued to look around but I wasn't sure where we were. "What is this place?"

"It's the meadows on Naboo, somewhere I always wanted to take you." He smiled as he looked back to me and I didn't realize how much I missed that smile. I wanted to reach up and touch his face but I resisted the urge. Not out of disgust but out of fear that my touch would cause him to fade away.

No, I couldn't think of him this way. How could I ever trust him again?

I stood up and he watched me sadly, "I shouldn't be here." I sighed. "I don't belong here."

He stood up and faced me, "You're here because I want you here, this is where you belong." He held his hand out like he was gonna touch me but he retracted it, like he had the same thought that I did. " You belong with me, I love you." He stared intently into my eyes. Before I could reply, a little blonde boy around the age of two pushed between us both, causing our eye contact to break as he ran down the field chasing a butterfly.

"Who is that?" I asked as my eyes stayed on the boy, he was beautiful.

"I dont know." He responded confused as he also kept his gaze on the boy.

I looked at Anakin and furrowed my brows together, "This is your dream."

He looked at me and shrugged before turning his attention back over there,"I know but he's never been here before." We watched as the boy laughed happily as he ran around the field.

Padme's POV

We all sat by Anakin's side, it's been hours and we haven't heard anything from Obi-Wan. Suddenly the room filled with rapid beeping. "Nurse!" I stood up and shouted, Anakin was going to flat-line again.

(y/n)'s POV

Anakin suddenly bent over and gripped his stomach and he had a pained look on his face.

I looked at him in a panic, "What's happening?" I asked as he dropped to his knees.

"I'm dying." He responded and I suddenly remembered what Obi-Wan said on Endor. That Anakin was fighting for his life. He was telling the truth.

"What happened to you?" I bent down and I reluctantly put my hand on his shoulder.

"Savage." He choked out.

Rey sent Savage to assassinate Anakin without telling me, why would she do that? I heard another groan from his mouth. "I-I don't know what to do." 

He dropped down so he was now laying on his back.

"Just stay with me." He placed his hand on mine. I looked up to see the little boy standing in front of me. He nodded at me and pointed to Anakin. I suddenly knew what I had to do. I bent over so my face was hovering over his. "What are you doing?" He whispered as he looked into my eyes.

As much as I hated him for everything, I couldn't let him die, a part me still loved him."Returning the favor." I pressed my hand on top of his that was on his stomach and I lowered my face to press my lips to his.

Padme's POV

There was a yellow glow coming from Anakin and we all stared in shock and bewilderment. The nurses and doctor backed away from him and his vitals signs started increasing.

"Is this some kind of a Jedi trick that I just don't know about?" Rex mumbled as he kept his wide eyes on Anakin.

"Nope this is definitely new." Ahsoka responded, also holding a look of surprise.

Anakin's POV

I felt life flow back into me and I raised my hand to touch her hair as she kissed me. She pulled away and I looked up into her eyes. She held an unreadable expression, "(y/n)?" I questioned, is this possible, was this really her in my dream?

She gave me a sad look, "We're even. Now wake up."  She looked away from me.

I reached out for her, I wanted to touch her again but everything went black.

My eyes shot open and I started to move around. There was a tube down my throat and gripped it and pulled it out, causing me to gag. I sat up and looked around the room while taking heavy breaths, all of my friends, nurses, and doctors were in here and they were standing at the end of the room while giving me shocked looks, "What?"

(y/n)'s POV

I opened my eyes and I lifted my head up off of my pillow. Was that real?

"Oh thank the force, you're awake." Rey came into my room and sat next to me on the bed, "They hit you pretty hard, I was worried you were gonna have a concussion."

I gave her a confused look, "Who hit me?"

"The clones, Obi-Wan was only trying to distract you so they could sneak up behind you." She rolled her eyes and handed me a glass of water that I accepted. I remember him trying to show me something to do with Rey but maybe that was all just a distraction. "But I came just in time and got you back before they could take you away."

But what was really on my mind was that dream. I had to know if that was actually a dream or something else, so I already knew what to ask.

"Rey, did you send Savage to kill Anakin?" I asked her and I searched her face for anything that would tell me if what she was about to say is true or not.

She let out a chuckle, "Without telling you first? Of course not, is that what Obi-Wan was telling you?" She grabbed the water from my hand and set it on my night stand, "You know you can't trust anyone but me, don't let them try and fool you."

I nodded but for the first time since being here with her, I wasn't sure if I believed her or not.

(a/n So I was originally hoping to make this a filler chapter but as I was writing, all these ideas came to me and this chapter turned into something I actually really love. I finished my homework a few hours ago and I was just itching to write. It's five am where I live and I have had no sleep so if there are grammar mistakes, I am sorry and I will fix them at a later time. Thank you so much for your support, I love you all!)
