(y/n)'s POV
She sighed as she placed her cup down next to mine. "It's different here and I miss my home of course but Obi has been making the transition easy for me, I owe him so much." She smiled at the thought of him.
"So are you guys breaking the code too? If you know what I mean." Padme nudge Satine on the shoulder while she wiggled her eyebrows.
"Padme!" I scolded her as Satines cheeks became bright red.
"What?" She replied innocently shrugging her shoulders with a devious smile.
"So inappropriate!" I chuckled while taking a drink from my tea.
"Don't you mean, 'so uncivilized'." Satine mocked Obi-Wan as she stroked her imaginary beard causing us all to burst into fits of laughter.
"I suppose I'm missing all the fun." A voice came from behind me and I turned to see Lida in the doorway with a huge grin on her face.
I immediately jumped up and rushed to her, "Lida!" I shouted excitedly as I pulled her into an embrace and she chuckled into my shoulder, "I haven't seen you in so long, how was the family trip?" I had asked the people of the temple where she was and they had told me she took a trip to visit family.
She pulled away from my embrace, "It was good, I got to see my brother." Her eyes sparkled with happiness.
"Is he cute?" Padme spoke up from the couch, "I happen to be the only one single in this room at the moment and it sucks." She stood up and walked towards her kitchen, "I'm breaking out the wine, no one judge me."
"I can assure you, he's not your type." Lida laughed as we walked towards the seating area, I took my place back on the chair and Lida took a seat on the arm of it. "I'm surprised you don't have BD with you."
I rolled my eyes, "The little jerk always ditches me for some youngling." I chuckled at the memory of the other day when I went to look for him only to find him playing hide and seek in the temple gardens with a ginger haired boy. He seemed to grow a strong attachment to him and who was I to break that bond. I was always rushing away on missions or to the medical ward that I've hardly had time for him lately so I'm actually glad he's found someone he can go to. "Oh and this is Satine," I gestured to the beautiful blonde, "the former duchess of Mandalore."
"It's nice to meet you Satine," Lida smiled graciously at her, "I heard about your home world and I'm so sorry you went through that, I hope you can come to find Coruscant as your new home."
"Thank you that means a lot." Satine responded happily but with a hint of sadness in her tone.
"I'm back." Padmรจ burst into the living room holding two bottles of wine with 3PO following behind her carrying a tray of three glasses. He set the tray on the table and Padme poured one bottle into all three glasses. "For you ladies." She smiled as she handed the empty bottle to 3PO who walked back into the kitchen with it. "Bring more bottles 3PO!" She shouted toward the kitchen door.
We each grabbed one and I realized Padme didn't have a glass, "Um Padme you didn't grab a glass for yourself." I looked at her with a confused expression.
She smiled holding up the second bottle, "I don't need one." And with that she started drinking from the bottle. "Call Anakin or Ahsoka (y/n) so they're prepared to pick you up. We're getting hammered tonight ladies."
Anakin's POV
I received a call from (y/n) and I couldn't understand a single thing she said so I automatically knew she was drunk.
Satine was sprawled across the couch snoring and I placed a blanket over her. Padme was now in her bed hugging a wine bottle that she refused to let me take. Lida was sleeping on the floor, I glared down at her and decided to leave her there. And my wife, the only one awake who I was now carrying to my speeder.
"Do you think Obi-Wan and Satine are doing it?" She slurred as I placed her in the passenger seat.
I chuckled at her with amusement, I love drunk (y/n), "I don't know and I don't want to know." I clicked her belt in and hopped to my side and started the engine.
"I think they are, Obi-Wan seems like the kinda guy thats got game you know." I did my best to hold in my laughter as I drove us back to the temple. The thought of Obi-Wan having game just seemed so hilarious to me.
We arrived at the temple and I proceeded to pick her up to carry her to our room, "What if they see?" She whispered referring to the Jedi who might be looming in the hallways.
"It's late, they're mostly sleeping and if anyone sees I'm just a friend picking up a drunk friend." I shrugged as she clutched onto my robes and I walked her through the halls.
We almost reached my room when a voice stopped me, "What happened to her?" I turned to see Obi-Wan walking towards us.
"It appears the girls got into Padmรฉ's grown up cabinet." I chuckled and (y/n) let out a low giggle.
"Satine too?" He asked with a raised brow.
"Oh yeah," I nodded with large grin, "She was passed out on the couch with a glass still in her hand."
A chuckle escaped his lips, "I'm glad she's having a good time."
"Obi." (y/n) whispered causing us to look at her in confusion, she never calls him Obi. "Do you and Satine do it?"
Both our eyes went wide and she was looking at him innocently like she asked something as simple as how his day was going.
"Okay!" I broke the awkward silence, "Time to get this one to bed." I smiled awkwardly at Obi-Wan who still looked dumbstruck by her question. "Goodnight Master!" I turned away and I could hear him mumbling as he walked away.
"What the hell were those girls talking about?"
I placed (y/n) on the bed and changed her clothes like I did the night I proposed to her. She stared up at me the entire time with fascination in her eyes. It caused butterflies to erupt in my stomach, her gaze always made me feel giddy, no matter how much time has passed. She had that affect on me. "Lay down." I spoke softly to her as I placed the covers over her. I walked to the other side and changed into my pajamas and as I turned to the bed, she had rolled over and was watching me the entire time. "See something you like?" I smirked.
"Not really." She responded playfully and I tossed my shirt at her causing her to giggle.
I got in the covers next to her and she cuddled up next to me and placed a hand on my chest as I wrapped my arm around her, "I love you." She whispered closing her eyes.
"I love you too." I whispered back placing a kiss against her hair and I closed my eyes as well waiting for sleep to take over.
After a few minutes when I felt myself drift off I was immediately brought back by the sound of her voice, "Those around you can be very deceiving."
I opened my eyes and looked down at her, her eyes now open as she stared off like she was lost in thought, "What?" I questioned confused.
"It's what Maul said to me on Mandalore. It plays over and over in my head. I just don't know what he meant or if he was just trying to get inside my head." She sighed closing her eyes, "If that was the goal he definitely succeeded." She never told me about what happened on Mandalore, anytime I asked she skipped over it, not wanting to talk about. Now I can see why, she was troubled by it.
"Don't let him get to you." I ran my fingers through her hair to relax her and I could feel it working as she leaned in more to me. "Go to sleep, if you want we can talk about it in the morning before going to our training lesson with Obi-Wan."
She groaned, clearly forgetting we are supposed to practice tomorrow, "I'm gonna be so hungover."
I chuckled, "We'll sleep in a little, he's used to us being late anyway." Which was true, I don't think we've ever once been on time, to anything.
"Okay." She mumbled as she started to fall asleep. Moments later I could hear light snoring.
I was trying to sleep but now I had thoughts clouding my mind. I haven't heard from Ari in a few days, but from what the council has told me most of the nurse clones have already been de-chipped. We still had a long way to go though. I haven't told (y/n) about it because a part of me was worried Lida would find out if I did. And something told me Lida knowing would be a really bad thing. I still had no proof against her but I trust my gut more than anything. I sighed, I hated keeping things from her but I knew this was for the best. As soon as it was over with though I'm going to tell her and hopefully she's not too upset about me keeping something this big from her.
(y/n)'s POV
The next morning we were standing in the training room, late. But that's not the weird thing, Master Kenobi was late too. He was never late, in fact he was always early. "This is so unlike him." Anakin mumbled as he stood impatiently with his arms crossed.
"Maybe he has a meeting or something." I shrugged.
He sighed, "Maybe," he looked from the door to me and started walking closer to me, "Well since he wants to be late why don't we go to our favorite little supply closet?" He smirked and I rolled my eyes.
"Absolutely not, not after the last time." My cheeks grew red just from the memory.
"Come on," he snaked his arms around me to pull me into an embrace, "We don't have to do that, we can just have a good old fashion smooch."
"Smooch? What are you sixteen?" I scolded playfully. He formed his lips into a pout and gave me his best puppy dog eyes. I glared at him for a moment before sighing in defeat, "Fine."
His eyes lit up, "Yes let's go!" He grabbed my arm and pulled me down the hall to the closet. He was too cute how could I continue to tell him no?
We reached the closet and he pulled it open and we both gasped, my hand flying to my mouth.
There in the closet was Obi-Wan and Satine, lip locked. They both pulled away instantly and stared at us with wide eyes not saying anything.
Anakin's shocked expression turned into a smug smirk as he crossed his arms over his chest, "Oh how the tables have turned."
I smirked as well, mimicking my husbands movement, crossing my arms over my chest, "So uncivilized." I shook my head and told him the exact same thing he told both Anakin and I every time he caught us in this exact closet.
"This is not what it looks like!" Obi-Wan tried to defend himself, stupidly. He was caught, he knew he was caught, so why try?
I turned to Anakin still holding a smug smirk, "I told you they were doing it." I spoke confidently.
He let out a laugh and Satines cheeks turned red at my comment. Obi-Wan sighed knowing he got caught and there was no way to convince us otherwise, "Go away." He reached and closed the door on us and Anakin and I both looked at each other with huge grins. We were happy for him, of course he wanted to keep this from us because he wanted to seem like the perfect Jedi that follows the code, he is on the council after all. But love is love.
"I can't believe it." Anakin whistled shaking his head, "I mean I can, but I'm still surprised he'd do it in a public space."
"I told you, he's got game." I chuckled causing Anakin to roll his eyes with a laugh.
"Get away from the door." Obi-Wans voice sounded muffled as he snapped at us from inside.
Instead of leaving we decided to toy with him a little and got closer to the door. "If you clear the bottom shelf it makes a perfect seat for... activities." I began and Anakin next to me covered his mouth so his laugh came through his nose.
"You should stroke his beard I'm sure he likes that." My husband giggled and I wanted to die of laughter.
"That's it!" We heard his voice boom through the door and saw the door handle moving.
"Oh shit!" Anakin shouted and we both sprinted down the hallway away from Obi-Wan, laughing without a care in the world.
