(a/n I do not plan to do an Ahsoka POV while she's missing but if her journey is something you would like to see, then you can watch clone wars season 3 episodes 21-22 (: don't worry everyone she will be back soon!)

Anakins POV
I was anxiously waiting for their return, I was sitting in my now fixed up room trying to work on some parts to keep myself distracted so I wasn't pacing around the ship dock.

There was a knock at my door, I quickly stood up expecting it to be my wife but when the door opened I came face to face with someone else. "Echo?" He had a nervous expression and his eyes were shifting down the hallways like he was afraid of being watched, his face half burnt from the bomb attack.

"Can I come in sir?" He asked and I nodded moving out of the way for him to enter.

"Is everything okay?" I closed the door behind him and he stood in the middle of the room looking afraid.

"You're the only one I feel I can trust with what I'm about to tell you." He spoke low, almost in a whisper. He looked terrified and it made my stomach turn, whatever he was planning to tell me, it was nothing good. "I've been sitting on this for a long time hoping I was just crazy, but I'm afraid that I might not be."

"You can trust me," I assured him, "I will do anything I can to help, just tell me what's wrong." I did my best to comfort him and relax his anxious state.

He sighed and took a seat on my bed, "Us clones have these inhibitor chips inside of our brains to keep us in line," he began, although this was something I already knew, "Mine was damaged during the explosion and during the surgery I was having these dreams," he looked away from me and down to the floor, "At least I thought they were dreams but now I'm not so sure. Inside of them the clones had an order, to kill all the Jedi, all of our friends." His voice sounded sad, "And I kept hearing the same thing repeat over and over 'Order 66'. Sir I think there's a bigger reason why us clones were created and not a good one."

I looked at him confused, "Echo you took a heavy blow to the head. They could have just been dreams and nothing more or even hallucinations due to the heavy amount medications you've been on recently."

His eyes snapped up to me with a pleading expression, "No, I think when my chip was damaged, I was able to see the truth. Please General Skywalker you have to believe me." I wanted to believe him I really did but a plot to kill the Jedi? It just seemed far fetched. He was suffering major brain damage, which we were told could cause hallucinations, he shouldn't even be here right now, he should still be under observations.

"Echo-" I started but he interrupted me before I could say anymore.

"I know you think I'm crazy and sadly I no longer have a chip so it's not like I can prove it to you. But please, analyze another clones chip. If I'm wrong you have my deepest apologies." He now stood up and was inches away from me, he was begging me to give him a chance to prove himself right. "Please trust me on this General."

I sighed in defeat and folded my arms across my chest, "Fine. But if you're wrong, you never bring this up again."

I saw relief go across his features, "I promise If I'm wrong, I'll never mention it again, you have my word."

I pulled my comlink up to my lips, "Rex meet me in the medical ward, room 256."

"Of course sir." Rex responded almost instantly. He was the clone I trusted the most so I knew he was the right choice to do this with and I know he trusted me too, so I didn't have to worry about him saying anything to anyone. I didn't want Echo to get into any trouble for being ill. Which is exactly what I thought he was, ill, but I wanted to put his mind at ease.

"Let's go," I tilted my head towards the door but before we could reach it, the door opened.

"Honey I'm ho- heyyy Echo." (y/n) walked in, her eyes widened when she saw Echo, we truly were the worst at keeping our secret. It's a miracle the council doesn't know yet.

"Hello General." He smiled at her.

"I was just coming to borrow General Skywalker's..." her eyes darted around the room, "pen." She picked up a pen that was sitting on the table by the door, with a victorious smile. She's so adorable, but a terrible liar.

He chuckled, "Right, ill give you two a moment," He turned to me, "I'll meet you there sir." He nodded and went to exit the room, (y/n) moved out of his way and she gave him a sly smile.

"I'll be right behind you." I told him as he walked out the door, (y/n) closed it behind him.

A huge grin spread across her face, "I missed you." She ran towards me and jumped, I caught her in my arms as she wrapped her legs around me. Our lips meeting in a passionate kiss as her fingers entangled in my hair. We were like this for what felt like hours, although I know it's only been seconds. But that's how it felt when I was with her... I would get so lost in her eyes or on her body that it felt like an eternity, she's all that truly mattered and I was so happy to be holding her again. I regretted the way I walked away from her that day, I was terrified that that would be the last memory I ever had of her.

"I missed you too." I chuckled against her lips. She hopped down and stared up into my eyes. "How was your trip?" I brought my hand to her face and she closed her eyes as she sunk into my hand, enjoying the contact.

"Eventful." She smiled without opening her eyes. As much as I wanted to stay here with her, I had an obligation to attend to.

"Baby I have to go," She opened her eyes and her smile fell into a frown, "I'll be back though, I promised Echo I'd go with him to his check up, to clear him for duty." I lied feeling guilty for it. But I didn't want to worry her. She already looked exhausted, I was even gonna hold off on telling her about Ahsoka until she's rested. She's grown quite fond of my padawan and I know she would be just as restless as I have been.

"I can come with you." Her eyes lit up I hope.

I shook my head, "You need rest, I promise I'll be back quickly."

She sighed in defeat, "Fine." She stepped out of my embrace and started to take off her shoes, "I'll just shower alone I guess." She shrugged with an evil smile as she began to drop her clothes. My eyes trailed her body with lust and now I wanted to stay more than ever.

Damn it Echo.

"You're the worst." I mumbled in annoyance.

"I know." She smirked as she walked into the bathroom. I contemplated so hard on if I should stay or go but I knew the choice I had to make.

And so, with much reluctance, I headed out of my room to meet Echo and Rex.

Arialternateendings Had to name a character after  one of my favorite authors on here. Check out her work!

"Hey Ari thanks for coming." I hugged my favorite mechanical engineer. If there was anyone who could get that chip out safely and analyze it properly, it was her. She was a good friend that I trusted more than most around here.

"Of course Anakin." She hugged me back, "How's that arm of yours treating you." She stepped back from the hug and tapped on my arm, inspecting it.

"Perfect." I smiled, Ari was the one who upgraded my arm. The first one that I had was faulty and it wasn't attached to me properly so it would occasionally cause me pain. But since I allowed her to fix me up, I've had no problems.

"That's because I'm the best," she chuckled, "And how is General (y/l/n)'s hand? I've told her to come and check in with me for the first couple of weeks after I installed it, but she has failed to do so." She sighed with irritation.

I chuckled, "Shes not a fan of the medical ward, she avoids it as much as possible. But from what I've seen, it's holding up well." I assured and she nodded with a slight smile.

"Good, now explain to me why you've called me here on my day off." She sat in a chair and looked up at the three of us.

I explained to Rex what we were gonna be doing here and he was okay with it. He also thought Echo was having some type of hallucination but he wanted to do anything he could to help his brother feel at ease.

"Well I need you to go into Rex's head to pull out an inhibitor chip, without killing him of course, and analyze it. I need to know everything that's on it." I smiled down at her innocently and she looked up at me like I was insane.

"Why?" She questioned.

I knew I could trust her so I had no problem telling her truth, "We think there's something in the chips that's not supposed to be there. I know it's a lot to ask but if we're right. We could stop numerous unnecessary casualties."

Her eyes shifted between all three of us for a moment before sighing and standing back up, "I'm guessing no one can know about this either, am I right?"

"That's right miss." Rex responded before I could.

"Alright I'll help you," She threw her hands up in defeat and I smiled happily at her, "But you owe me." She pointed her finger at me while lifting her brows. I chuckled and she turned her attention to Rex, "Alright get on the table."

An hour later she got the chip extracted.  Rex started waking up from the anesthesia and she gave him medicine so he wouldn't experience any pain. "You alright brother?" Echo comforted him and Rex nodded.

"Yes I'm fine, just feels different now that it's not in there." He rubbed his head and accidentally touched the bandage area causing him to flinch at the sharp pain he was most likely feeling.

"How long till you've finished analyzing it?" I asked Ari, she was already beginning to start as she placed it into her computer.

"I'm not sure, maybe an hour?" She didn't look up to me but kept her eyes on the screen, "There's so much on here, it's actually quite fascinating." Her eyes scanned the screen with amazement and wonder.

"Keep your eyes opened for anything involving 'order 66'." I told her and she nodded. I turned to both Rex and Echo. "Stay here with her, if you're right Echo then we just put her life in danger so neither of you leave this room until she's done and has called me back in here, got it?"

"Of course General." Rex nodded and Echo nodded as well.

"Good, I'll be in my room, call me as soon as anything comes up." And with that I left the room to go back to my wife.

I walked into my bedroom and found her sleeping soundly under the covers. I shuffled in next to her and she immediately cuddled against my chest. "How is he?" She spoke in a tired raspy tone.

"We'll find out soon enough." I whispered and pressed my lips to her forehead, her hair still slightly damp from her shower.

Reys POV
I landed on Mandalore in search of my brother. I knew he was still here, the closer I got to this planet the more I began to feel him. It felt like a piece of my soul was being put back together when I felt the force signature of the one I thought to be dead for so long.

I walked up the steps to the formers duchess's palace slowly, I didn't want to startle him or anyone else who might be here. I lightly pushed open a door to reveal a throne room but I couldn't see anyone inside, which was odd because I could feel a presence in here.

"Ahhh!!" I heard someone yelling like a wild person from my left but before I could register who they were I felt a firm grip on my throat as a man picked me up and he began choking me. I met his eyes and he was a Dathomirian just like Maul. I struggled against his strength and began to hit against his arm.

"Drop her Savage." I heard a familiar voice and the grip on my throat loosened and I fell to the ground with a thud. I rubbed my now sore throat.

"I knew you were going to come eventually." Maul knelt down next to me and I felt my heart soar with excitement as my eyes laid on my long lost brother.

"Maul!" I leaned forward and wrapped my arms around him and pulled him to a hug. He didn't hug me back as usual but allowed me to have my moment before lightly pushing me off of him.

"It's good to see you too Rey. But why are you here? Don't tell me Sidious sent you." His face wrinkled with disgust at the name.

"Just the opposite actually, I'm here because I want to get rid of him." I smiled, he stood up and offered me a hand which I accepted so he could pull me to my feet.

"I'm guessing you already have a plan?" He eyed me curiously.

My smile grew into a menacing one, "I do and it's already begun."
