2nd Person POV
It's been three weeks since your return and the attack on Anakins life. The Jedi have grown frustrated with their lack of knowledge on the many stressful situations they are facing. There are no leads on General Grievous, no leads on Darth Maul, and no leads on the bombing. And there was news spreading throughout the temple that a receptionist went missing, a girl by the name of Rose. Her family came looking for but Lida/Rey told them she stopped showing up one day and assumed she quit. Of course covering up the fact that she's the one who murdered her.

Rey/Lida has been acting frantic since the news of Rose's disappearance. She told you they were really good friends and only hopes they find her soon and in one piece. You believed her and felt sorry for her for supposedly losing a friend, but of course Anakin never did. His suspicions of her have never faltered even though he has no evidence to harvest the feelings for her he is carrying. He's been trying hard to keep you away from her, constantly pulling you away and keeping you distracted with training. You didn't think much of it, you only thought he wanted to spend time with you and toughen you up so you were prepared for your next mission. Lida/Rey however, knew his true intentions and was growing frustrated with him for keeping you away from her. She needed you, you were the key to her plan and with Anakin getting in the way constantly he was making things more difficult.

Since you've been spending your time with Anakin, you have been completely inseparable since leaving the medical bay. You still haven't told him about the wave of the dark side you felt while on Tatooine, the last thing you wanted to do was to make him worry about you.

You've been training more and learning to telepathically communicate with each other. You've even gotten as far as to be able to communicate from opposite ends of the temple. Both of your goals is to be able to communicate no matter what the distance may be. You only wanted to feel like you were there for each other the whole time, so you can always know when the other is okay.

Obi-Wan has been working tirelessly trying to find the location of Maul, hardly getting any sleep but he's been unsuccessful. That is until today when the temple received a transmission.

(y/n)'s POV
Anakin and I were just pulled into the conference room that only contained Master Plo, and now me, Anakin, and Obi-Wan. We stood around the holotable, confused as to why we were called in here.

"We've received this transmission from Mandalore," Plo spoke up causing the room to go quiet, "It was meant for you Master Kenobi."

Obi-Wan look confused yet concerned. Plo pressed a button the table and there were gasps around the room. One coming from me as well as I looked up on the red figure from Tatooine. "Maul." I mumbled low as I became mesmerized by his appearance, once again like the force was drawing me near him.

"Obi-Wan Kenobi, I can only assume you know I'm alive by now," he began, "All these years my hatred for you has grown, I have been fueled by my need for revenge for what you did to me," He spat, his yellow eyes darkening, he reached over and pulled a woman onto the screen, a beautiful blonde in a dress. Obi-Wan eyes shifted from anger to panic as he looked at the woman,  "If you don't come and face me Kenobi, there will be bloodshed, starting with the duchess." He reached a hand up to grip her face tightly and she gripped his hands to make him let go as he squeezed, causing her pain.

"Obi-Wan don't-" the woman began to speak but Maul tossed her out of the screen in annoyance. We could hear her groan in pain as she landed to the floor.

"Put her with the others Savage," He spoke to someone of screen before turning his eyes back to the room, "I will be waiting Kenobi," He spoke menacingly before his lips twitched up into an evil smile, "And bring that girl, anyone else besides you and her and the duchess dies." The transmission ended and the room had fallen into complete silence.

"I must leave at once." Obi-Wan started rushing towards the door before I stopped him.

"You mean we." I met his eyes and I could tell he wanted to fight me on this but Maul himself said 'bring that girl' and we know he was referring to me.

"If you both think you're going after him without me then you're insane." Anakin spoke up in an angry tone as his eyes darted between us.

"Anakin he said if anyone else comes that he will kill the duchess." I pleaded for him to understand, I understood why he was angry and reluctant to give up due to what happened the last time I met Maul.

"I'll come in a separate ship and hide somewhere until you need me." He looked from me to Obi-Wan hoping he would approve of his idea.

But much to Anakins dismay, Obi-Wan shook his head, "I'm sorry Anakin, I can't take that chance."

"Mast-" Anakin began to argue but he was cut off.

"What would you do if you were in my position?" He glared sternly at his former Padawan, "Would you take the chance?"

Anakins face fell cause he knew his master was right, he wouldn't risk my life for anything. He looked down at me and his eyes trailed down the my left hand. Before his eyes swelled and he clenched his fists on annoyance.

"General Skywalker I understand wanting to help your master and friend but they're right, you can't go." Master Plo cut into the conversation causing us to look in his direction, we all forgot he was even here, "You, Ahsoka, and the 501st will be Accompanying me to Fellucia in the mean time. I could use your extra help."

Anakin reluctantly nodded. His expression like stone, he was upset and afraid. Without saying another word to us he stormed out of the room. Master Plo followed after him but not before giving us a nod as he left the room.

Obi-Wan sighed, "Meet me on the ship in ten minutes."

"There's no time, we must leave now." I instructed and he gave me a confused look.

"You're not gonna go say goodbye to Anakin?" He knitted his brows together, it was almost like tradition, anytime I had to leave anywhere I always took a little personal time with Anakin. But this is too important we needed to get to mandalore, besides he seemed extremely upset with me, I doubt he's in a talking mood.

"No let's go before he decides to hide on our ship." I joked hoping to lighten up the mood a little, he almost smiled but I could tell he was on edge and just as afraid as I was.

We got to the ship and Obi-Wan started it up as I sat in the co-pilot seat.

I love you. I sent a message to Anakin and I waited to hear his voice back but I felt like he was too upset to respond. I felt a pain in my chest, feeling rejected.

The ship lifted off the ground and we were in the sky's of Coruscant and that's when I heard it, I love you too. I smiled as we made our way into space to get to Mandalore.

~*~โ€ข~*~

"I'm sorry what!?" I stared at my Master in disbelief. That was the worst plan I've ever heard.

"You got this, don't worry." He nodded with a smile. I remembered saying that to Padme when I had absolutely no faith in my plan. Now I here it coming from his mouth and I see where I got it from.

We just arrived to Mandalore and we were hiding at the base of the duchess's palace just outside and not in the view of any of the death watch guards standing post. Obi-Wan filled me in on who the duchess was to him and gave me a quick rundown on the death watch. I felt a little caught up but I wasn't sure how just him and I were gonna get out of this alive, along with the duchess, and hopefully all of Mandalore.

"This has a big chance of not working Obi, how do you know he won't kill you once you're in there or how do you know I'm not gonna get shot right now?" I argued hoping to come up with a better plan.

"We don't, but this is the best chance we have." He patted my shoulder in a way to comfort me.

I sighed, "Fine, I'll be back." I grumbled in annoyance as I stood in view of one of the death watch members. I raised my hands up, "I come in peace." I slowly walked towards him.

He pointed his blaster at me, "Come any closer and I'll drop you." He threatened.

I stopped moving and stood with my hands up. He got closer to me and started eyeing my clothing. He tilted his head and lifted my cloak to reveal my lightsabers. His eyes widened once he realized what I was. But before he could do anything Obi-Wan came from behind him and knocked him unconscious.

"Put it on." He started taking the armor off the man and handing it to me.

I nodded taking off my cloak and placing the armor over my jedi clothes, it barely fit but I was able to get everything on enough to where it looks believable that It belongs to me. I placed the helmet over my head as Obi threw the mans body into a bush to hide. I grabbed ahold of Obi-Wans arm. "Let's go Jedi scum." I joked.

He raised his eyebrow, "Seriously?"

"What I'm trying to get in character." I shrugged and he shook his head.

"You and Anakin both are something else, now make sure your force signature is cloaked so he can't sense you." He instructed as he took his lightsaber and his it inside my armor with mine.

I nodded, "I've been cloaking it since the moment we got here."

"Good okay let's go." We walked towards the entrance to palace. This was a bad plan...

I walked up to another member of the death watch, "I found him just outside, scouting the place." I did my best to deepen my voice so I sounded like a man.

"Obi-Wan Kenobi," the person walked slowly around him. They turned to me, "Do you have his weapon?"

"Yes." I nodded.

"Give it to me." He demanded holding his hand out.

I hesitated for a moment, Do it, I heard Obi-Wans voice in my head and I obliged by reaching into the armor and taking his weapon out and handing it to the other member. He grabbed it from me and inspected it. He looked pleased and grabbed Obi-Wans other arm, "Maul is waiting for you."

Anakins POV
I was doing my best not to worry too much about my wife and master. They were both strong and capable, I just had to trust they would take care of each other and come back to me.

I was on Fellucia with Ahsoka and we were fighting off an army of droids along side the 501st. "Do you think you're capable of clearing the ones over on the east?" I teased Ahsoka and she rolled her eyes.

"I can handle anything." She smiled proudly.

"Hey don't get cocky," I chuckled, "Take a handful of men with you and meet Master Plo and I back here at the base when you're done. I'll be clearing the west side."

"See you then Skyguy." She took off quickly.

I shook my head, "Always on the move." I looked over to my first in command, "Let's go Rex, I wanna finish up and go home."

"You heard him men!" Rex shouted and they all got prepared for battle.

I blocked blasts from all directions and made my way through the field of oversized flowers. I stuck down droid after droid letting out my frustration. This was providing to be a good distraction for me but every once in awhile the thought of (y/n) and Obi-Wan filled my mind. Are you okay? I tried to send a message to my wife but I got no response. I knew it's most likely because we were too far away for us to get our messages to each other. But I still felt nervous.  Soon the firing stopped and I realized we had gotten rid of the threat.

I sighed as I placed my weapon back on my belt, I wanted more. No. I needed more, I didn't want my distraction to end. I didn't trust myself to not get on the ship and fly straight to Mandalore. I went back to the base to see Master Plo standing there waiting for our return, "We're just waiting on Ahsoka." He informed me and I grinned, I beat her here. Just then the group she took with her returned but she wasn't with them.

"Where's commander Tano?" I questioned them.

"She said she was right behind us." One of the troopers responded and he turned to see she want anywhere in sight.

"Ahsoka come in." I spoke through my comlink and to my surprise I didn't get a response back. "Ahsoka!" I shouted and still no response, I didn't like this feeling I was getting. I turned to the men in front of me, "Search this place and find Commander Tano!"

"Yes sir!" They shouted and the men scattered as they went to find her. Just then I spotted a ship in the distance lift out of the fields and fly off into space. I had a really bad feeling now.

After an hour then men came back with no luck and my heart sank in my chest, all three of them were gone now, I didn't know where Ahsoka was and I didn't know if my master and wife were okay or alive. I did my best to hold myself together. "Look again." I demanded.

"General Skywalker, we did our duty, we must go." Plo Koon demanded and I shook my head.

"I'm not leaving here without her." I glared at him sternly.

"Skywalker, you must trust in the training you have given her and have faith she will return home." He advised me but I stood my ground. "Now Skywalker." He demanded more harshly and I sighed and walked into the ship. I hated how the rest of the Jedi think, they follow the code and their duty, nothing more. It made me so angry how little they care about anything else but their order.

I stared longly in the distance as ship lifted us off the ground, I'll find you Snips.
