(y/n)'s POV
"Oh (y/n) I knew you'd say yes!" Padme pulled me into a tight hug, causing the wind to knock out of me before releasing me so I could catch my breathe. "This calls for a celebration!" She exclaimed before running off to the kitchen area.

"I feel like she's more excited than we are." I laughed and Anakin joined in laughter next to me.

"She just loves us." He placed a kiss on my cheek and Padme came back into the room with wine and glasses.

"Time for us to let loose, I mean we did almost die so," she shrugged setting the glasses on the coffee table in front of the couch.

"None for me, I have your lives to watch over." Anakin plopped himself onto the couch and I joined next to him in the middle while Padme sat on the other side of me.

"More for us girls then." Padme smiled while handing me a glass that was filled higher than it should have been. "Cheers to my two best friends, I'm so happy for you both." She raised her glass.

I raised mine with her and Anakin just did his legendary two finger salute, "Thank you Padme." I smiled to her and we drank the wine.

2 HOURS LATER AND TWO BOTTLES IN

"And so then I was like, that's not how the force works!" I finished my story and both Padme and I started bursting into laughter as Anakin smirked, shaking his head at our drunkenness.

"Just when I thought the battle droids couldn't be any dumber." She giggled setting her empty glass on the table.

"Oh they're the dumbest." I laughed while doing the same.

"Well I should head to bed, it's pretty late." She stood up and we did as well.

"Leave your door open and I'll leave ours open so I can watch over you both." Anakin instructed her and she agreed that she would. "Come on you." Anakin picked me up bridal style and I giggled into his chest. I looked up at his face as he was carrying me to the room and I couldn't believe how beautiful he was. And he was all mine.

He dropped me gently onto the bed and began to undress me. I sat there silently just watching him and his perfectness as he brought a night gown and put it on for me. "What?" He smirked when he caught me staring at him.

"You're beautiful." I slurred

He chuckled, "And you're drunk." He moved the blankets so I could lay under them and he gently laid my head on the pillow. He knelt down next to me and was brushing the hair out of my face.

"Let's have sexy time." I fluttered my eyelashes and I used my index finger to poke his cheek.

"No baby, no sexy time." He smirked with amusement, "As tempting as that is, you're drunk and the door is open, the last thing we wanna do is give Padme permanent blindness."

I sighed in defeat knowing he wasn't gonna give in, "I can't wait to marry you." I looked into his beautiful ocean eyes.

"I can't either." He kissed my forehead and I shivered under his touch. He never fails to give me butterflies.

"Tomorrow then." I smiled.

"Tomorrow what?" He questioned furrowing his eyebrows together.

"Marry me tomorrow." I told him and I saw a smile creep on his face.

"I'll marry you whenever and wherever you want, as long as I get to be your husband." He caressed me cheek with his thumb.

"Lay with me." I whined and held my arms out for him.

He smiled and climbed in next to me so I could lay my head on his chest as he held me. "You're the best thing to ever happen to me Anakin, without you I don't know what I would do, I'd probably die." I couldn't bear a life without him. I would break.

"That's not something you'll ever have to worry about, I'll never leave you (y/n)." He whispered as he continued running his fingers in my hair.

"Promise?"

"I promise baby." He started to sing to me like he did that night that he was in my room on Coruscant. His voice was beautiful and soothing. I curled up closer to him and listened to his singing and his heartbeat until I drifted into a peaceful sleep in the arms of the love of my life.

"(y/n)." I woke up to the sound of a soft voice and a nudge on my shoulder. "(y/n) wake up."

I opened my eyes to meet the eyes of Padme, I looked around the room and Anakin was nowhere in sight. "What is it Padme, where's Anakin?"

She smiled, "I'll take you to him but come with me first." She held out her hand and I grabbed it confused. She led me to her room and she had dresses laying on her bed, "Pick one!" She exclaimed with excitement.

I was confused, "What is this for?"

She bounced happily, "Your wedding of course, you can keep whichever one you choose."
Wait, I told Anakin I wanted to marry him today, oh my god is it happening right now? I felt my heart pounding in my chest. I scanned the dresses and chose one that stuck out to me the most.(I chose one of my dream dresses to visualize, but as always you can visualize your own dream dress♥️)

"This one," I lightly touched it, mesmerized by how beautiful it was.

"I had a feeling you'd choose that one." She smiled as she picked it up and hung it over the door. "Go shower and when you come out I'll do your hair and makeup!" She began to shove me into the bathroom.

An hour later and I was ready. "You look so beautiful!" My best friend told me with tears in her eyes. "Anakin is a lucky man and if he doesn't marry you, trust me I'll be next in line." She joked and I let out a laugh.

"Thank you for everything Padme." I pulled her into a hug and I felt tears come to my eyes. Crap my makeup.

"No no no do not cry!" She let go of our hug and waved her hands in my face to dry the tears, "Wait until after the wedding to cry, this isn't waterproof."

"I'm so nervous, what if the council finds out, we will be expelled. What if I'm the reason his life is ruined." I begin to panic as I start to think of all the things I failed to think of before.

"(y/n) you will never ruin his life, he wants this just as much as you do. And if the council finds out then you'll deal with it then, together." She held my hand in hers and let out the breathe I had been holding.

"You're right. I can do this." I nodded, whatever happens in the future. Him and I can get through it and we will do it together.

"Ready?" She asked with a huge grin.

"More than ready." I assured her and she walked me down the hallway and to the back entrance that led to the gardens. I looked out the window and saw Anakin standing there under the arch he made with R2 and BD, the droids had on small bow ties. Coming from my left out of the living room was Obi-Wan. "Obi-Wan? When did you get here and how?"

"I came as soon as Anakin told me, I couldn't miss this." He smiled, "I told the council I was coming as extra security due to your attack last night. I figured I could walk you down, if you'd like." He held his hand out and I felt myself want to cry again but Padme gave me a 'don't you dare' glare and so I held it in.

"I'd be honored." My voice cracked as I placed my hand in his. Other than Anakin, no one has ever made me feel more loved and wanted than Obi-Wan has, he was the closest thing to a father I had.

Padme opened the door causing Anakin to turn his attention to me as I stepped out with Obi-Wan. I saw him suck in a breathe when his eyes landed on me and his lips crept into a smile. Padme rushed around me and ran down the walkway to stand at the center of the arch. I should have known she'd also be officiating. We chuckled at her awkward run and our gazes went back to each other.

"Ready?" Obi-Wan whispered to me.

"Never been more ready." I interlocked my arm with his and we walked down the aisle. My eyes never left Anakins. I saw a tear fall down his face. I let one fall as well, I didn't care if Padme was gonna kill me. I was happy. I was in love with the most amazing man in the galaxy. A man who brought me back to life that day on the ship. He brought his light into me and pushed out the darkness. With him I was whole, he had been the thing that was missing from me. He was the key to my happiness, to the pull to the light. Without him I'd still be in that dark place. I owe him so much and I will be spending the rest of my life giving him everything.

I reached the arch and I turned to face him, he held his hands out and I placed mine in them.

"We're here today to celebrate the relationship of (y/n) (y/l/n) and Anakin Skywalker and to be witnesses and supporters of the commitment they share with one another. Together we're a group of the most important people in their lives and they've brought us here to recognize that we've all played some special part in the love they share today." Padme began. "A good marriage must be built on the foundation of this commitment. In marriage the "little" things are the big things. It is never being too old to hold hands. It is remembering to say, 'I love you' everyday, It is never going to sleep angry. It is standing together and facing the world. It is speaking words of appreciation, and demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways. It is having the capacity to forgive and forget. It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow. It is a common search for the good and the beautiful. It is not only marrying the right partner it is being the right partner. And I believe you two are right for each other." She smiled and she had tears falling down her face. "Do you have vows you would like to share?"

"I'll go first," Anakin gently squeezed my hands, "(y/n) as I told you last night when I asked you to marry me, I have loved you from the moment I set my eyes on you. I felt like fate was pulling me to you and now I can't think of a life without you in it. You are my soulmate, my best friend, and the love of my life. There isn't a single thing I would never forgive you for. I will stand by you through anything and I will love you for as long as I live. No matter what happens now or in the future, we will get through it and we will handle it together. I love you more than I've ever loved anyone, I just wish my mother was here, she would love you as much as I do. This is to forever." He finished with a gentle squeeze to my hand and I was already bawling my eyes out, I heard a sniffle come from behind me and I saw Obi-Wan wipe a tear from his eyes.

I resisted the urge to kiss him but I knew it wasn't time yet.

"(y/n)." Padme gestured for me to begin.

"Anakin I never knew kindness until I met you. I never knew love or happiness. The moment I met you I felt something too. I didn't know what it was at the time but hearing you say it, it makes me understand that we were being pulled to each other. I made so many mistakes but you helped me realize that it wasn't my fault. You helped me realize I had a choice in who I wanted to be And the person I want to be is your wife, your best friend. Most nights I'd never sleep, I always felt empty and lost, but you took that feeling away, you are what has been missing from me. You made me happy to be alive. I love you more than anything and there isn't a single thing in this galaxy I wouldn't do for you. I do believe you are my soulmate and no matter what happens in the future we will always come back to each other and forgive each other." My voice cracked as I said the last few words, "This is to forever." I squeezed his had as he did mine. We both stared into each other's tear filled eyes. Happy as can be, we would stay in this moment forever if we could.

"Oh god okay," Padme began to pull herself together, "That was beautiful you guys." She placed a hand on each of our shoulders, "(y/n) do you take Anakin to be your lawfully wedded husband? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, be faithful to him as long as you both shall live?"

"I do." I smiled and Anakin placed the ring from last night on my finger.

"Anakin do you take (y/n) to be your lawfully wedded wife? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, be faithful to her as long as you both shall live?"

"I do." Obi-Wan handed me a black banded ring that had purple crystals embedded in to match mine, I placed it on Anakin's finger.

"By the power vested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife. Anakin you may kiss your bride." Padme bounced excitingly.

He spared no time, he pulled me to him and placed a passionate kiss on my lips that made my insides feel like they were on fire.

The droids beeped happily and Obi-Wan and Padme both clapped with smiles on their faces.

He pulled away from me, his eyes burning into mine, "Forever." He leaned his forehead on mine, his eyes never breaking their contact with my eyes.

"Forever." I cupped his face and stood on my tippy toes to reach for another kiss.
