The next morning Anakin and I walked into the dining hall to see Padmè sipping on her morning cup of coffee, "Good morning you two, sleep well?" She asked while setting her mug down on the table; giving us her adorable smile.

"Yes we did." I replied; giving her the same smile in return.

"Yeah, and Padme I'm sorry for yesterday I shouldn't have been rude to you." Anakin apologized.

"All is forgiven." She waved her hand, "What shall we do today?" She asked turning her attention back to me.

"Well I was hoping to go for a swim." I sat down at the table in front of her and pulled an orange from a bowl. Before I could start peeling it, Anakin grabbed it from me and began peeling it for me. "That is if you have a swim suit I could borrow."

Anakin snorted as he finished the orange and handed it to me and I nodded a thank you. "You really think she wouldn't have more than one swimsuit here?"

Padmè chuckled, "He's right, I have about twenty." She shrugged with a smile.

"Perfect then swimming it is." I chewed on my orange with a smile on my face.

"This one will be perfect on you," Padmè handed me a gold bikini.(visualize it to look however you want)

"I love it!" I grabbed it from her and started to change, she turned her back to give me privacy while she picked out one for herself. "Okay how does it look?"

Padme turned back around to face me and she had a blue polka dot bikini in her hand, "Oh (y/n) you look amazing, Anakin will melt when he sees you." She winked.

I blushed at her words, "I wanted to apologize again for last night, I know that was probably uncomfortable for you but don't worry we will get along just fine the rest of this trip." I assured her. She began to change and I turned my back.

"You worry too much, I know how tempered he can be. So It's fine, I'm just glad you guys made up and very quickly too, I just might have to move to a room a little further away." She chuckled. "You can turn around now, I'm done." She instructed me and I did and she could see the look of horror I had on my face.

"You heard?" I asked with embarrassment.

"I'm sure all of Naboo heard." She laughed and my eyes went wide and I brought my hands to my cheeks. I told him.. I TOLD him not to be so damn loud. And we went more than once...oh god she probably thought we were animals.

"I'm so sorry!" I apologized completely mortified.

"It's okay, love is a beautiful thing." She smiled, "I'm just happy the little boy Obi-Wan and I found on Tatooine has found real happiness. I was worried he would never open his heart after his mother died." She frowned at the memory, "He was a wreck, he'd cry on me or Obi-Wan for hours. He's like a brother to me (y/n) and I'm happy he's found you, someone I can consider a sister." Her smile returned to her face and I smiled back. My heart ached for Anakin, that man has gone through so much, he was a slave and he lost his mother. I know why he has a bad temper when it comes to me, he's afraid he's going to lose me like he lost her.

"Thank you Padme, I will always protect him and his heart." I assured her and she pulled me into a hug. Other than Lida, Padme was my best friend and I loved her dearly. Even though I knew I wasn't suppose to be attached to anyone, I was. To her, Obi-Wan, Lida, and of course the love of my life.

"I know." She replied and there was a knock at the door. "Come in!" She shouted and pulled away from me.

Anakin entered the room, "Are you girls ready yet I've been waiting for-" He stopped speaking when his eyes landed on me his mouth open slightly, "You look stunning." He smiled as his eyes trailed me up and down, a hint of mischief in his eyes.

"What about me?" Padmè joked and Anakin glanced at her for a moment before turning his eyes back to me.

"You're okay." He teased with a shrug, causing her to throw a brush at him which he easily dodged.

I chuckled at their sibling rivalry, "Come on you two."

We took a boat out to get to the middle of the lake.

"You first," I told Anakin as we all stood at the entrance of the water.

He shook his head, "I'm not going in, I'm here to observe." He checked me out and before I could say anything he pushed me and I fell into the water with a scream. I popped my head up and they were both laughing at me. I reached my hand out and used the force to tip the boat over and they both flew backwards falling into the water.

"Who's laughing now?" I smirked when their heads popped up out of the water and they shot me glares.

"Get over here." Anakin demanded as he swan towards me.

I chuckled and went underwater to avoid being seen and swam around to get behind him. I jumped out and onto his back, pulling my arms around his neck and hugging him. He turned his head to look at me with a smile on his face and I placed a kiss on his cheek before letting go.

Padme was swimming on her back, enjoying the sun. "I wonder when I'm gonna find love." She sighed.

"Whatever happened to Clovis?" Anakin questioned earning him a scoff from Padme.

"Please that sleezeball? Not only is he thinking of joining the separatists, he got upset when I wouldn't put out on the first date." Her eyes were closed but I knew if they weren't she'd be giving an eye roll.

"Want me to kill him?" I asked playfully causing her to laugh.

"No, but thanks for the offer, I'll keep it in mind." She smirked.

For the next half hour we swam around the lake, splashing each other, playing games, and telling stories.

"We should go in," I stated, "I'm getting tired."

Anakin helped us onto the boat before pulling himself in and rowing us back to the house.

Once we got in the house Anna had the table set for lunch and we all sat down to eat, I hardly finished my food. For some reason I was sleepy, like REALLY sleepy. I could hardly keep my eyes open.

"I think I'm gonna take a nap," I stood up from the table and Anakin gave me a concerned look.

"Are you feeling okay?" He asked grabbing my hand.

"I'm fine, I'm just tired and the doctor did say I should still be resting a lot." I assured him with a smile.

"Yeah Skywalker, since you wouldn't let her sleep last night." She picked up a piece of her food and threw it at him, he wasn't able to dodge this one and it hit him on the cheek.

He shot her a wide eyed look as she smirked, "You heard?"

"Yes she did." I nodded, "I'll be in the room if you need me."

"I can come with you." He stood up and I shook my head.

"No your mandate is to protect Padmè, not babysit your girlfriend. Stay here and I'll be back soon." I placed a kiss on his lips and left to go to my room.

Anakin's POV
I watched as my heart left the room.

I sighed, she was only gone for mere seconds and I already missed her presence. Just the smell of her alone was enough to leave me intoxicated.

I sat down and made eye contact with Padmè who was looking at me with a sweet glare, "You really love her don't you?"

"More than anything." I confessed.

She smiled, "I'm glad, I was really worried you would stick to those pesky Jedi ways and close off your heart. No offense but that is really no way to live."

I nodded in agreement, "It's not. It's dumb that they have those rules, how can you not expect someone to fall in love? It's basic emotions." I sighed and leaned back on my chair, "I really was following them at one point. I truly believed the Jedi way was the only way, then I met her. And everything changed."

"How did you know it was love?" She asked tilting her head with curiosity.

"The first time I saw her was when I knew and I know that sounds stupid," I shook my head, "Like how can i love someone I never spoke to? And I can't answer that, I just did. It was as if the force itself was pulling me towards her. Then when I did get to talk to her and I got to look in her eyes," I paused for a moment, reliving the memory, "It was as if there was a fire inside of me, I felt warm and when I touched her hand, there was electricity. Even the sound of her voice was the most beautiful thing I ever heard. Ever since I've had her in my life it's like every breathe I take is for her, every word I speak is about her, and everything I do is for her. I can't live without her Padmè. If anything happens to her, a part of me will die." I felt my heart ache at the memory of me holding her in my arms as she was dying, that's not something I'll ever be able to handle again.

I noticed tears in my friends eyes, "oh my god are you okay?" I asked handing her a tissue.

She grabbed it, "Yes, it's just.. that was beautiful Ani, she is a lucky girl to have you." She smiled, "But what will happen if the council finds out about you two?"

"Kick us out." I shrugged, it's not something that I want to happen but if I had to choose between her or the Order then I would choose her. Every. Single. Time.

"Does that scare you?"

"A little, it's all I've ever know, other than Tatooine. But I'll still have her, Obi-Wan, and you." I smiled.

"If it comes to it, you two can have this house. We don't really use it." She shrugged before taking a sip of her water.

I chuckled, rich people.
"Thank you Padmè, you're so good to us. Especially to (y/n), you are a big reason her transition to the order was so easy on her."

"I can't take all the credit, Lida helped a ton as well." Padmè was glancing at her plate so she didn't see me grimace at the name.

I've know Lida a long time and I once considered her a trusted friend but something about her lately hasn't felt right to me. Especially the way she was acting in the room the other night. Like she was hiding something. It could just all be in my head but when we return, I'm going to be keeping an eye on her.

"Anyways, Padme back to (y/n) there's something I need your help with." I stood up from my chair. "And now that she is sleeping, this is the perfect time to get it ready." I smiled excitedly.

She looked at me curiously, "What is it?"

"Just come with me and be quiet, she's a light sleeper."
