(a/n Just wanted to point out that I do know that the way I wrote the prison wasn't accurate to how it looks in the clone wars show. I just have a different visual in my head of how I wanted it to be. The building is tall and circular but it doesn't have a middle, think of it like a donut. So the entire middle part is just open like a courtyard. Each floor is a long hallway that goes around in a circle with about 18-20 cells per floor. I hope that description made sense cause I'm not too sure how to describe it haha.)

Unknown POV
"Did you get the blood?" Sidious asked me as I entered his office. He was sitting in his chair behind his desk.

He had asked me to go the medical bay and steal a sample of (y/n)'s blood.

I nodded, "Yes and I ran the test for her midi-chlorian count as you instructed." I sat on the chair in front of his desk and leaned back.

"Good, what are the results?" His eyes burning into mine with a look of anticipation.

"19,500." This number is incredible, it's higher than mine, than his, than pretty much everyone except Anakin Skywalker's whose count is well above 20,000.

His eyes broke away from mine as he leaned back in his chair, he seemed to be lost in his thoughts before he finally continued, "I want Skywalker." He looked up back to me, "He's stronger and more powerful. When the time comes, we will kill (y/n) and Skywalker will be mine." A smile grew on his lips. He was upset the last time his plan had failed but that didn't mean he was gonna give up. He had a plot to take over the galaxy but he knew that he couldn't do it alone and needed a powerful apprentice.

If only he knew I had no intention of following through with what he wanted.

I had a plan of my own.

As soon as he got Skywalker, he would kill me. He's only kept me around so long because I've been useful to him but as soon as he gets what he wants I will be useless.

It didn't matter that we were blood, all he cared about was power and little did he know that would eventually become his downfall.

Anakin's POV
"Obi-Wan!" I yelled for my master as I ran up to him, "What's happening?" I asked even though I already knew what it was, but I needed to play dumb for (y/n)'s sake.

"It seems Ventress has escaped." He was stroking his beard, "Im going to go to the prison and try to figure out how this could've happened. You should go warn (y/n) we don't know where Ventress is and her first instinct could be to find her."

"No (y/n) will be fine, I'm going with you." If I'm going to keep everyone from finding out the truth then I needed to be at the center of the investigation.

He gave a surprised look because he knows I value (y/n)'s safety over anything else. He didn't say anything more and  just nodded and we left the temple to go to the prison.

"What do you mean everything is gone?" Obi-Wan questioned the woman at the desk.

"I went to get the footage ready because I knew you were coming and it's all just gone. Not just from today either but also yesterday's and even the visitors logs were completely wiped." She gave him an apologetic look and he gave out a frustrated sighs

I on other hand let out a small sigh of relief. Without the footage and logs then there was nothing to place (y/n) here.

But what's bothering me about it is that (y/n) never mentioned anything about wiping the systems. Did someone else do this? And if so who? And why?

"What about the guard who was on duty to watch over Ventress?" He asked the woman and she shook her head.

"We can't seem to find him anywhere."

"This is very unusual." My master furrowed his brows in confusion and began to stroke his beard as he always does when he's lost in thought.

Missing footage. Wiped logs. Missing guard. This is strange, I have to talk to (y/n) about this and see if she left anything out of her story. But if it's not her, who could it possibly be..

(y/n)'s POV
I was pacing around Anakin's room with my anxiety levels at an all time high. He's been gone for almost an hour now and I haven't stopped pacing the entire time.

Suddenly the door opened and I spun around expecting it to be Anakin but instead it was another familiar face.

"Lida?" I gave her a look of confusion, "What are you doing here?"

"I checked your room first but when I saw you weren't there, I knew you'd be here." She made sure the door closed behind her as she entered further into the room, closing the space between us. "I brought you these." She extended her arm and handed me what looked to be small drives.

I grabbed them from her, "What are they?"

"Security footage, from the prison." I looked from the objects in my hand to Lida's eyes with shock.

"How did you get these and why?"

She looked away from me for a moment and looked back to me with guilt on her eyes. "When I'm not here I work at the prison and when I saw you on the footage with Ventress I knew I had to get rid of them. I know you (y/n) and I know you wouldn't have done something like this if it wasn't for a good reason. So I did it to protect you."

"I hid my face though, how did you know it was me?" I questioned.

"They installed cameras on the wall pads and," she looked down when she said this next part,  "on the roof."

My breathe caught in my throat, she saw me kill Ventress.

"Lida-" I began but she cut me off.

"You don't need to explain it to me. I heard everything, I understand what you did and why you did it and I promise your secret is safe with me." She gave a small smile.

I pulled her into a hug and I softly cried on her shoulder. "Thank you." I whispered.

She pulled away and met my gaze, "Of course. Just promise me one thing, don't tell anyone that I did this, not even Anakin." She used her thumb to wipe away a tear that was going down my cheek.

I nodded, "I won't tell anyone. I owe you my life Lida."

"Nonsense, what kind of friend would I be if I let you suffer for trying to protect your happiness?" She truly was a great friend, she saved me today and I have no idea how I'm going to repay her. "I also wiped the visitors logs so no one will know you were there yesterday. Just destroy those." She pointed the drives in my hand.

I dropped them on the floor and stepped on them causing a cracking sound that told me they shattered.

Then the door opened.

Anakin's POV
"There is nothing to tell us who did this or even if Ventress had help escaping." Obi-Wan addressed the council, "Everything is gone so there is not much I can do at this point."

"I guess we just have to wait for Ventress to show her face and hope she doesn't try anything in the mean time." Master Windu responded and the rest of the council nodded. "Councils dismissed."

I quickly left the room before any of the masters even got up from their chairs, I needed to talk to her. Once I got to my room I opened the door and both (y/n) and Lida looked at me with a surprised expression.

"Lida? What are you doing here?" I asked my friend and she didn't respond instead she looked to (y/n) and back to me.

"We were just discussing going to Padmé's tomorrow for a little girl time." (y/n) responded and Lida nodded next to her.

"Yes what she said."

I looked at them both suspiciously but rubbed it off. "Well Lida I need to speak to (y/n) for a moment." I told her and gave her an apologetic look for kicking her out.

"I was just leaving anyway, see you tomorrow (y/n)." She quickly left the room without giving me another look, which I thought was odd.

"How did it go?" (y/n) asked and I could see in her eyes she didn't look worried like she did before I left.

I walked over and sat on the edge of the bed and she joined me but not before picking something up from the floor and tossing it in the waste basket. I brushed it off and assumed it was another part from my work bench.

"You're in the clear, all the footage and visitor logs were wiped. Did you do that?" I looked into her eyes waiting for an answer and she nodded.

"Yes, I'm sorry I forgot to mention it before." She looked down and I couldn't help but get the feeling she was lying to me again. "I was just so distraught from what I did that it slipped my mind."

Or maybe she wasn't and I was being paranoid. "It's okay. The council isn't going to look into it any further so everything's gonna be fine now."

She pulled me into an embrace and I did the same. "I'm so relieved I was really worried I ruined everything."

I smiled as I buried my face into her hair. I loved the way she smelled. She pulled away and looked into my eyes. I used my gloved hand to caress her cheek. "Id do anything for you." I almost whispered.

"Thank you for staying by my side Anakin. I truly don't deserve you." A tear fell from her eye and I wiped it away.

"It's me who doesn't deserve you, you're the greatest thing to ever happen to me and without you, life would have no meaning."

She crashed her lips onto mine and kissed her back passionately. I felt her hands roam my chest and she slid off my robe and pulled my shirt off.

I picked her up and with ease and set her on my lap without breaking our kiss and pulled her onto me as I laid my back on the bed.

(y/n)'s POV
"I'm really glad you girls came today," Padmè walked around her couch and sat down in front of me and Lida, "We haven't hung out, just us, in awhile!" She beamed.

To keep up with the lie I told Anakin last night, Lida and I did decided to come see Padmè after all. I did miss her from my time away and spending time with her and Lida will make me feel better.

"We missed you." Lida smiled and I nodded in agreement with her.

"So did I but what should we do today?" Padmè looked off to the side in thought, "Shopping?"

I chuckled, "You always want to shop."

"I love clothes!" She exclaimed.

"We know," Lida playfully rolled her eyes, "You have like five closets."

"Six." Padmè corrected with a smirk.

We laughed together but my laughter was cut short when I sensed something. "Padmè get down!" I yelled as I jumped over the table and tackled my friend to the ground causing me to get shot by a blaster on my left shoulder. A shot that was meant for Padmès head.

Lida screamed and jumped to the floor too covering her head with her hands as multiple shots kept firing through the windows. I was still on top of Padmè like a shield trying to ignore the burning pain on my back shoulder. The firing eventually came to a stop and I poked my head up to see a figure slowly walking into the apartment from the platform.

I looked down to Padmè and pressed a finger to my lips signaling her to stay quiet as I crawled off of her. I unclipped one of my weapons a popped up to face the attacker. He immediately lifted his blaster to shoot me but I deflected his shots causing them to fire back at him and he tumbled to the ground.

I walked up to him and he was pressing his hand to a wound on his chest, "Who sent you?" I demanded as I pressed my weapon near his neck.

"Vi-" He began but was interrupted when a sniper blast flew in through the apartment and killed him instantly. I dropped down to the floor and I heard a speeder leaving.

I stuck my head up once more to make sure there were no more threats and when I deemed it to be safe I stood up and walked to Padmè and Lida. Both having terrified expressions on their faces. "I guess it really is a good thing we came today."
