(y/n)'s POV

I stood before the holo-table, staring up at the blue outline of my Master. "You have been training well, my young apprentice," Dooku's hologram said, and I nodded in agreement. If you considered his relentless methods of pushing me until I got it right as training, then yes, it had been quite effective. "I think it's time for you to take your skills to the temple now, that is, if you feel ready."

"Of course I'm ready, Master." I felt like I had been ready for weeks. But Dooku insisted on extra practice, especially in clouding my force signature. It was crucial for me to master this skill to blend in among the many Jedi without being noticed.

"I shouldn't have to remind you how vital it is that you succeed." His gaze was intense, and his voice dropped to a low, menacing tone. I felt a shiver run down my spine; I remembered all too well the consequences of disappointing him. "I trust you will not let me down."

I swallowed hard, trying to steady my nerves. I nodded, trying to project confidence. "I promise, I won't fail you."

"I certainly hope not, for your own sake." His image flickered and vanished without a farewell, leaving me to exhale deeply as I pressed my hands against the table and leaned forward.

I can do this.

Taking a deep breath, I turned to the battle droids standing quietly behind me. "You two," I pointed at them, "I will be heading down to Coruscant. Once I leave, you will take this ship to Geonosis, where Count Dooku will be waiting for you." I hoped their mechanical minds could grasp such a straightforward command.

"Roger Roger," they replied in unison, saluting me.

"Good." I let out a sigh as I passed by them on my way to my room, if you could even call it that. It felt more like a cramped storage closet, barely big enough for a small bed and a dresser. There wasn't even a light. I looked around the room with a heavy heart before heading to the dresser to change out of my dark clothes and into something more ordinary.

As I changed, I felt a wave of relief knowing I wouldn't be sleeping in this place for a while. Every time I entered this room, memories flooded back of the countless nights I spent crying myself to sleep, tormented by the aches and pains inflicted by my torturer.

With a packed bag in hand, I stepped out and made my way down the metal corridors toward the hangar where my Naboo ship awaited me, a little treasure I had taken for myself a few weeks back.

I couldn't very well arrive on Coruscant in a separatist ship, could I?

As I strolled toward the hangar, a lone battle droid blocked my path, clearly not recognizing me in my new outfit and altered eye color. "Halt, intruder!" it shouted, raising its blaster at me.

Without breaking my stride, I waved my hand, and the droid went flying into the wall of the side hallway with a shriek. "I don't have time for this," I muttered, rolling my eyes at their sheer foolishness.

I finally arrived at the edge of Coruscant and headed toward the Jedi Temple. With each step closer, my nerves began to rise. I felt ready, I knew I had prepared well, yet a tiny flicker of doubt lingered in my mind, whispering fears of failure and the doom that might follow. That nagging thought likely stemmed from Dooku's constant reminders of what would happen if I failed. I took a deep breath, shaking off the negativity, and concentrated on what lay ahead.

Dooku had mentioned that a position would be waiting for me upon my arrivalโ€”a role as a housekeeper, if I recalled correctly. It was the perfect cover, allowing me to access many rooms without drawing attention. How he managed to arrange this was a mystery to me; whenever I inquired, he would only say, "I know a powerful man." Who that man was remained unclear.

As I entered the temple, I approached a desk where a woman with bright red hair sat. "Hello," I said to catch her attention, "I'm new here. Is this where I check in?" I added a friendly smile.

"Yes, it is. May I have your name, please?" she replied, returning my smile with warmth.

I nodded, "My name is (y/n) (y/l/n)." I used my real name, one that these people likely wouldn't recognize. They probably only knew tales of Darth Izdaja. (IZZ-DIE-YAH).

She checked in her computer for a moment with knitted brows before her smile returned, "Oh yes, we been expecting you." She shifted her gaze from the computer back to me, "You've been assigned as the housekeeper for the third floor," She informed me, "Wait right here while I go get Lida, she'll be the one showing you to your quarters and giving you a small your; as well as letting you know exactly what your duties will be." Not that I will need a tour, I studied plans of this building for months. I know every vent and crack in this place down to the foundation.

The woman turned away and walked into the door right behind her. I stood there for a few minutes and gazed around the large room that was filled with different species of Jedi.

My eyes caught one younger looking man in particular, his crystal blue eyes stood out amongst all of his dark clothing, the same eyes that were currently locked with my own. Up until he bumped into the man in front of him from not paying attention and the eye contact broke. The victim of the bump quickly spun around and gave the younger man an annoyed scowl.

I looked away with an amused chuckle, what an idiot.

When red-headed woman came back, she had another woman with her, Lida I presume, "Hi, I'm Lida it's nice to meet you." She held her hand out to me with a welcoming smile.
(Lida; Lie-Duh)

"(y/n)." I returned the smile, although mine wasn't as real as her, "It's nice to meet you as well."

"Follow me." She gestured for me to come with her. We walked down a narrow carpeted hallway and got into an elevator to take us up to the third floor. During the ride up, she began rambling on to me about all the duties I'll have, which really wasn't much; I needed to clean the sheets, do the laundry, vacuum the floors, etc.

Normal things I was already expecting that I was going to have to do.

She walked me through the third floor as she continued talking, but I'm not really sure what she was say. I tuned her out and kept my eyes fixated on the doors where the Jedis names were. When it came to the Jedi, there were two in particular I had to look out for, the ones Dooku said were the biggest pains in his ass. I was just hoping at least one of them was on this floor.

Then I froze in my place when I saw one of the names I was looking for.

Anakin Skywalker

A smirk appeared on my face and I felt a hint of excitement.

Lida noticed the door I was staring at, "Oh yes that's Master Skywalkers room, the chosen one. He's a pretty big deal around here and a handsome one too." She smirked as she wiggled her eyebrows

I let out a chuckle, "Sounds like someone has a crush." I accused with a grin.

She fake swooned, "Trust me (y/n), you will too when you meet him. Everyone falls in love with Anakin Skywalker, even a happily married woman like myself. But, he never gives any woman the time of day, it's to do with his Jedi code or whatever." She shrugged as we continued walking down the hallway so she could show me to my room.

I gave her a small smile to hide my disgust at the idea of falling in love, especially with a Jedi.

Sounds horrible and highly unlikely for someone like me.

I was currently in the quarters that they gave me, it was somewhat small, but definitely bigger than anything Dooku has given me. I had a bigger closet, not that I have a a lot of clothes, I also had my own bathroom attached, and a bed that didn't feel like it was as hard as a rock. But the best part about it is, it's on the third floor, and only four doors down from Skywalker.

Luckily, I don't have to actually start my duties until tomorrow morning, so I can spend my day napping in this warm bed for once. I currently have my lightsabers hidden in the back of my closet and I was told by Lida that no one was allowed in this room; so I'm confident nobody will come in and find them.

I laid down on the bed that was much more comfortable than anything I've ever slept it. I usually got a rock hard mattress or the cold floor of a cell; which was only if the Count was upset with me, but he's usually always upset with me, so I mostly slept on floors my whole life.

I sighed with relief as I closed my eyes and fell asleep easily.

I awoke from my deep slumber by an alarm b paring into my ears; I used the force to throw it against the wall and it shattered.

"Crap." I mumbled as I sat up and eyed the broken clock. I mentally scolded myself for using the force, I needed to be more carefully; they'll be able to sense me if I use it.

I just hope that small amount wasn't enough to alert anyone.

I got up fully and changed out of my pajamas to start my day. There was a cart waiting outside of my room and I hid the listening devices inside of the towels that I was instructed to plant into the rooms. Dooku wants to learn anything he can, so the first thing I was asked to do was to plant the bugs in the rooms that I have access to. And he'll be more than thrilled to know that Skywalker is one of those rooms.

I went into each room and did my duties; at the same time I planted the bugs in places where I knew they wouldn't be found so easily.

Finally, I entered Anakin Skywalker's room and it was a complete mess in comparison to the other rooms. I scrunched my face in disgust as I eyed the disastrous room.

There's a workbench in the far corner that has loose parts sprawled all over it, jedi robes thrown over his bed and chair, as well as a pair of boxers lying in the middle of the floor, gross, and loose mechanical parts on the floor as well that would definitely hurt if I stepped on them.

This place was a death trap to say the least.

I sighed and began throwing the dirty robes inside of the laundry basket and picking up the boxers with my foot and expertly kicking them into the basket. I'll be damned if I touch that mans underwear with my bare hands.

Once that was done, I started picking up the loose parts from the floor. I walked over to the workbench and set them there as they scattered along the top to mix with the ones already there. As I do this, I quickly place the bug under his workbench.

"And who might you be?"

I jumped from being startled and quickly turned to see a familiar man standing in the doorway, a man with the face of an angel.
