"You must be the female I bumped into earlier." She said walking up to (F•N)

She held out her hand. "Its a pleasure to see you."

(F•N) quickly snapped back into reality and shook her hand.

"I've heard around the bullpen that your taking the missing boy case." Wuntch said.

"Yes! That is me! Do you need anything?" (F•N) said.

"Let's take a trip to my office and then we'll discuss." Wuntch said leaving Owen's office.

"Owen's gave you over 48 hours? am I correct?" Wuntch said walked aside from you.

"Yeah,pretty short time frame in my opinion,I think i could work with it." (F•N) said.

"My team has very skilled detectives,if you would like to, I want you to meet them." Wuntch said stopping in front of a elevator.

(F•N) eyes lit up again "Yes! I would like to!" She said.

Wuntch smiled at her "Great." They both stepped into the elevator and  went up the 3rd floor.

When the elevator halted and the doors opened,both (F•N) and Chief Wuntch walked to her office.

"Here is my office!" Wuntch opened the door and (F•N) popped her head in and only saw two people.

One had a leather jacket and a disgruntled hair style and the other one had a white captain's uniform.

(F•N) turned to Wuntch who had a small smile on her face. "I thought you said you had a team?" (F•N) said in confusion.

The leather jacket man looked up. "Whose the middle schooler?" He joked.

"High school graduate actually." (F•N) said.

"I want you to meet my colleagues." Wuntch said.

"I like to call us the suicide squad. Names,The eagle." He held out his hand towards (F•N).

"Or his other nickname,The vulture. The 9-9 made it." Said the other guy laughing.

"No funny C.J,anyway what bring you here?" Vulture said to (F•N).

"I'm taking the newest case about the missing boy ; Elliot Edgerton,I was brought here by Wuntch." She said.

"Oh! cool! Don't worry I'm a cool guy,unlike Keith over here." C.J said.

Keith or the Vulture turned around pointing at C.J "Hey! What did I tell you about using my Government name?" He said.

"Boys..settle down. I promised to help this young lady with his 48 hour case. Now (F•N) tell us the details of the case."

"Gladly." (F•N) spread out the information she got over the past few hours.

"Elliott went missing over a few days ago,when he was supposedly to go out with friends,but he never returned. Then CCTV cameras caught him with a unknown person handing something to him. A few hours ago,when I talked to his mother,she didn't have clue where he'd be,but she did show me a article about some drug cartel in the late 2000's." (F•N) explained while giving her self a mental pat on the back.

"There used to be this syndicate called the "Venom Violets" They were a worldwide operation,and got everyone in fear." Vulture said.

(F•N) tilted her head. "How come?" 

"They would smuggle in there drugs through different assortments of flowers,and then ship them worldwide wide. No one suspected a thing." Vulture said in his chair relaxed.

"Wait,did you say Violets?" (F•N) asked him.

He shook his head in agreement. (F•N) did some critical thinking in her head.

"Guy I arrested earlier..stole a dozen violets..drug infused flowers...CCTV...Elliott–"

(F•N) banged the table. "Holy crap,I got it!" Everyone in the room flinched.

"Today I arrested some guy who robbed a flower shop and he chose violets! So if I can connect him to this case–" (F•N)'s body started to bounce with excitement.

"I need to write this down,does anyone have a pen?" She said jumpy. C.J handed one.

"Chief,can you and I talk outside for a while?" Vulture said.

Wuntch and Vulture got up and walked outside of her office. "Look, you're not thinking about adding her into our team are you?" He said.

"I'm still thinking about it,why do you want her on this team?" Wuntch asked.

Vulture whispered into Wuntch's ear. "No,she just too childlike for my taste. Maybe we should recommend the 9-9 to her." He said.

Wuntch looked back at (F•N) who was happily talking to C.J.

"Look,just give her and me time,I'm sure she'll show her mature side." Wuntch said.

"Hey! sorry,if I'm intruding y'all's conversation,I'm about to interview my subject!." She said with a smile.

"Wait,dont you wanna meet my other friends?" Wuntch called out to (F•N).

"I guess..." (F•N) walking back to her.

"Oh joy! Raymond would like you." Wuntch said smiling.

(F•N)'s jaw dropped and she almost forgot what she was doing.

"Captain Holt?! Captain Raymond Holt?! You know him?" (F•N) said.

"Let's just say me and him were...past lovers." Wuntch said.

Vulture leaned over her and whispered. "What are you doing Madeleine?" He said.

"Yeah,I would love to meet him." (F•N) said. 

"Let's go then,there just one floor above us." Wuntch said walking with her.

"Keith! You're joining us" Wuntch called out to him.

Vulture entered the elevator with a excited (F•N) and sly Witch–I mean Wuntch.

"Just follow my lead." Wuntch said stepped out of the elevator doors.

The precinct went silent as Wuntch,Vulture and (F•N) walked through the precinct.

(F•N) could feel everyone's eyes on her,she looked around and saw everyone stopping what they are doing and seeing this rare moment.

"Hello,Raymond." Wuntch said.

Captain holt,turned around slowly and saw her. "Captain Wuntch,good to see you. But if you're here,whose guarding Hades?" Holt said.

(F•N) eyes widened in shock and in horror. "What did he say?" She said to Vulture.

"It's Deputy Chief Wuntch now,and I thought I stop by and see my most favorite people." Wuntch said.

"Oh and I see you brought your pet Vulture as well." Holt said.

Keith just laughed and kept his head down.

"And who is the shocked female behind you?" Holt said.

Wuntch pulled you up to Holt,front in center. "This is (F•N),she will be doing the newest case of the missing boy." She said.

"Wow! it feels like a dream,meeting you sir. I've heard such great things about the 9-9 precinct." (F•N) said slightly fangirling.

"If you heard great things,why don't you experience great things?" Holt said.

Before (F•N) was about to say something,Wuntch pulled her away. "She's mine Raymond–"

"No she isn't..." Vulture said quietly.

Everyone turned around to him wanting him to speak up.

"Have something to say?" Wuntch said.

"For crying out loud,she doesn't belong in our squad." Vulture spoke out.

(F•N) eyebrows furrowed at Vulture with a offended look. "What is that supposed to mean?" she said.

"Your just too childish for us and we only allow grown police officers and not ex-meter maids." Vulture said.

(F•N) shook off Wuntch's hands of off her shoulders. "I am mature! I just get moments where I get excited and extremely happy."

The room was in silence again,(F•N) walked up to Vulture and got into his face. "I don't need some gargoyle pestering me around." (F•N) Turned around to Wuntch. "I don't need you either, I will solve this case by myself and get the respect I deserve!." (F•N) angrily walked towards the elevator doors and pressed the down button.

She stepped inside and gave the 9-9 one last glare. And when the doors closed,she slid down the wall with her legs spread out like a dead body.

"How dare he,I am mature! watch,when I solve this case,I'll get what I would like." She said in the empty elevator.

She stood up when the elevator stopped at the lobby floor and walked off with a angry expression.

"Hey,you!" She said walking to the man she arrested earlier.

"Stand up,I need you for something." (F•N) said standing over the guy.

"Finally,took you long enough." He said standing up.

(F•N) took him to the interview room and sat him down and handcuffed him to the table.

"Before we start,can I get your name?" (F•N) asked.

He sat there and said nothing.

"Okay,listen you can play the tough guy game all you want,but I have a case to connect you with." (F•N) said holding up the photo of Elliott with the unknown person.

"I see what this is,you think I did something to the boy." He said standing up.

"So you do know what I'm talking about." (F•N) said sliding the photo to Him.

"Look,I just met the kid once through a friend–"

"Whose the friend?" (F•N) said.

"We go to different high schools,and one of Elliott's friends introduce me to him. His name is Oliver."He said.

(F•N) started to write down the information.

"His mom didn't like me but his girlfriend did." He added jokingly in high schooler way.

"Ughh,I forgot how gross high schoolers are." (F•N) said.

"I'm serious! His girlfriend loves me." He said.

"Why does she love you?" (F•N) said going along with him.

"I think she wants to gravitate towards a "real man" and not a little boy who cries to mommy when he's upset. You wouldn't understand."

"Don't you worry,I know a thing or two about high school relationships." (F•N) said.

"I can give you her number if you want." He said.

(F•N) got the number of the girlfriend.

"Her name is Isabella Quinton,she lives at a town house north of Brooklyn." He said.

"Thank you for the information. I'll book you in for your robbery charges and you'll head on over to the jail."

(F•N) picked up the guy and walked him back out to the lobby and booked him in and sent him away.

"Okay time to call Ms.Isabella." (F•N) said,searching for her phone.

She entered empty bullpen with her folder contents and phone dialing the number.

She waited for the call to go through until it hit voicemail. "Hi,my name is (F•N),I work with the NYPD. I'm working on a case about the missing boy Elliott Edgerton and I would like to ask her some questions. Call me back at ***-****-***.  (F•N) hung up the phone and leaned back In the seat.

Her thoughts started to take over her head about the statement the Vulture in front of the 9-9

"I'm not childish..I'm grown like everyone else...I can take care of myself,I made this far in my life I don't need anyone else.  I'm grown...I am–" 

Her thoughts were interrupted by someone opening the door. "Hey,(F•N)! how are you?" 

"Hey,Adrian." She said.

"How's the case going?" He said next to her.

"Slow,but I'm making progress..." She said looking distant.

"Something happened,what happened?" Adrian said getting close to her.

"Some guy named the Vulture,called me a child in front of the 9-9 and I feel embarrassed." (F•N) said sinking into her seat.

"You can't just stand here and mope! You have march back in the 9-9 and demand Wuntch to let you join her team." Adrian said.

"You know what,you're right! I'm mature for my age,I'm old enough to know what I want...Yeah,I'm gonna do it!" (F•N) stood up from her desk and marched towards the elevator,Adrian followed her.

"Wuntch is gonna have a taste of her own medicine." Adrian said.

"Yeah she is!" (F•N) said as the doors closed.

Up to the 4th floor they went until the door opened again and everyone aimed there eyes at Adrian and (F•N).

They stepped out and walked towards Wuntch and Holt and Vulture who were still talking.

"All I'm saying Madeline,it was a cruel act that Vulture did." Holt said.

"Wuntch! prepare to eat your words! Because,you made a mistake to not allow me to join your team." (F•N) said walking towards them.

"What I'm about to do is probably make fall to your knees and beg for me back." (F•N) said,she turned to Holt with a smile.

"Captain Holt,I would like to join your 9-9 team!" (F•N) said.

"Okay,you're in." He said in that iconic nonchalant tone.

(F•N) turned back around to Wuntch with a savage face.

"HA! IN YOUR–" (F•N) paused and turned back to Holt.

"Wait,what?" She said.

"I said you're in. Welcome to the 9-9,(F•N)." Holt said.

(F•N) turned back to Adrian for some help,but like (F•N) he was also speechless.

"May I asked why for the sudden acceptance?" She said.

"Well,we have many of our other cops quit because they couldn't handle our,Halloween heist or Jimmy jab games. So I we needed new hires." Holt explained.

"T–Thank you,sir! When do I start?" She said totally not stuttering.

"How about tomorrow?" Holt said.

"Yeah,I could do tomorrow. I'll see everyone again..." (F•N) said walking out while keeping awkward eye contact with everyone.

She grabbed Adrian and they went down the stairs."What just happened?" (F•N) said walking down the steps.

"You just joined the 9-9!" Adrian said happily.

"I just flipping joined the 9-9! oh my gosh." (F•N) said hopping up and down.

"I'm gonna clock out and get some sleep,bye Adrian!" (F•N) walked past him with glee.

Meanwhile back at the 9-9,Wuntch and Vulture left and 9-9 went back to work.

Holt was in his office analyzing (F•N)'s work portfolio, a knock was at his door.

"Come in Jeffords." Holt said.

"Hey,Captain. Whose portfolio are you viewing?" Terry said.

"Its our newest officer,her name is (F•N) and she asked if she could join us and I accepted her." Holt said scanning her papers.

"Another white woman?" Terry said jokingly.

"No Jeffords,shes black like us." Holt said.

"Yes! Terry loves black representation!" He said.

"She'll be here tomorrow and I think she'll fit right in with us." Holt said.

"I wonder how she took the news." Terry said.

Meanwhile at (F•N)'s apartment...

"OH MY GODESS,IM IN THE 9-9." (F•N) said in her pajamas looking at the ceiling as the sudden realization hit her.

a/n : someone hug me and kiss me because I feel hella proud of myself. I just finished this whole writing in just a day!! A. DAY.

Idk what I did to myself for this to happen but I wanna make it happen more often.
