(Y/N) walked home, tired after a full day of being mixed in with bitches and pervy bastards alike.
She huffed before looking at the buttons of her blouse, opening the door of her house in the process. She took off her shoes and threw her bag somewhere, thankful for having the next two days to herself.
She plopped down on her couch, only the thought of her and her dreams coming to mind. She closed her eyes and smiled, awaiting sleep.
...
"Hi (Y/N), good morning!" greeted Mira, her best friend.
"Oh, (Y/N)-sama is here! (Y/N)-sama!"
The (h/c)-ette just smiled at them before going out of the building, the place as sunny as ever.
"Thank goodness it's sunny here. My, the weather in the real world sure is stressful." she mumbled to herself, walking around the place you made.
It had an amusement park, even some restaurants, and her school with all of the people in it practically worshipping the female and a ton of other things she wished she could have in the real world.
She walked over to the swing in the playground and as she got closer, she noticed a figure hunched over while sitting in the bottom of the slide.
They had their back faced towards her and their blonde hair was cut short, probably a girl or some guy with long hair.
She surely didn't remember having someone like that in there, just some students she hated (and always got humiliated in the dream), her best friend who isn't talking to her for months now and her crush, who's basically simping for her in her dream.
"Uh, hi?" the female muttered, keeping a safe distance from the person.
They didn't seem to notice her as they didn't do anything.
"Excuse me?"
No response.
They kept on sitting there and as she looked over, she got surprised in seeing the person having a snack in hand.
Okay, this is getting weird.
She mustered up her courage to tap the person in the shoulder, them not minding for a moment before slowly turning to look at her.
(Y/N) froze in her spot as she looked at him, the person's blank eyes staring at her while having a couple of crumbs on the side of the his lips.
"...Hi?"
"Who are you?"
The female deadpanned at his question, totally not ready to find such a creature in her dream.
Not that she remembers making him.
"What do you mean 'who are you?' This is my dream!" she frowned.
"...It is?" he asked, taking another bite from his snack.
The audacity of this guy...
"Wait... Is that a dorayaki?" the (h/c)-ette asked, pointing at it. "Where'd you get that?"
He looked at her for a bit before looking back at his snack, taking another bite and munching on it.
"Oh this? I made it. Want some?" he offered.
"What do you mean you made it?" she asked again, clearly confused.
He wasn't here the last time, she didn't make him, and now, he's telling her that he made the dorayaki?
"Hey stranger, wanna sit somewhere, or..."
She thought of sitting on a nice bench placed right in front of the slide and she grinned as it magically popped right in.
"Whoa, so you're the master of this place, huh?" he mumbled.
"Yeah I am." she answered smugly. "And what are you doing here? I don't even know you yet here you are, popping up in my dream."
She didn't mind him being in there, knowing she can basically do anything in her dream world.
He just stared at her and yawned, stretching his arms in the process.
"Me?I'm just looking around." he casually stated, standing up. "I'm just traveling..."
She looked at him and as if on cue, the sky turned orange.
"It's sunset already?" he spoke, looking at her. "You really don't want me to be here, don't you?"
She immediately stood up and thought of something to say as the bench faded away into nothing. "It's not like that. Uh... It's uh... It's just that the views here are pretty unique at night."
He huffed and sat back down the slide as he looked at the girl nonchalantly.
"Well, since you're the master of this place then maybe you'll show me around?" he asked.
He stuck out his hand in your direction as he gave her a small closed-eye smile.
"I'm Mikey."
She looked at him for a moment before bringing her hand to hold his, both of them shaking hands.
"I'm (Y/N). It's nice to meet you."
He stood up again and looked to the direction of the playground entrance, her following where his gaze fell and noticing her crush standing there.

"I've been looking everywhere for you (Y/N)." he spoke, totally not minding Mikey.
Meanwhile, the blonde just stood there, looking at him with a poker face. He pointed at the other male and mouthed the words 'who is that?'.
She just waved him off while turning to look at her crush, giving him her most reassuring smile.
"Would you mind if I hangout with him for a bit?" she asked the other male, motioning at Mikey.
He just looked away though.
"Oh um, sure!"
"Great!"
Once the other one left, she looked at the male beside her and noticed he had another dorayaki in hand.
"Seriously, are those your favorites or something?" she asked, looking at the snack in his hand.
"Yeah." he mumbled. "You want some?"
He offered her another one, her gladly taking it.
"So, where would you like to start?"
...
It had been a good few days since both met (in her dreams at least) , the guy called Mikey, and for those days, she'd always look forward to sleeping.
And also seeing him, of course.
She didn't bother all the harassment she took from school, or the stuff that concerns her, at least. She only wanted to see Mikey after a long, hellish day.
She had shown him her dreamworld, and even told him about the reasons she had created it in the first place. He listened patiently, looking at her while biting on his favorite dorayaki every time she did so.
They had so much fun together which made her wish that she was living there, and made him wish he was out there in the real world with her.
He failed to tell her one thing though.
Today however, was yet another day with Mikey.
Both of them sat on the ferris wheel overlooking most of the places in the dream, lights shimmering beneath the black starry sky. The ferris wheel came to a halt as the carriage with both of them in it came to a halt at the very top.
The (h/c)-ette looked at him, and he had a dorayaki in his hand, per usual.
"Hey, are you enjoying here?" (Y/N) asked, also munching on something.
He looked at her for a brief moment before leaning a bit to see the sight, the carriage moving slightly from his actions.
(Y/N) gulped because of nervousness as her grip on the seat tightened. He noticed this as he let out a laugh, now leaning against the other side of the carriage.
"Hey stop! I don't wanna die!"
He paused, looking at her nervous state before holding one of her hands and taking a bite out of the female's dorayaki.
He smiled smugly as he did so, seeing her face heating up a bit.
"Yep. I'm enjoying here. I really don't wanna leave, to be honest." he stated, whispering the last part.
He looked a bit down which just didn't look right to her.
"You know, you could always stay here forever. You told me you're only wandering around, right? Then, you wouldn't mind staying..." she stammered.
He looked at her as he ate the last of his snack, giving her the same closed-eye smile.
"Yep. I wouldn't mind (Y/N)-chin. I would love to, really."
She wanted to tell him to quit making it sound like he's going.
She couldn't believe it but...
She got attached to someone in her dreams.
Someone who never existed in the real world.
"Hey Mikey, why do you sound like you have to go?" she asked, looking out the carriage.
He did so too, letting go of her hand as they watched the view together.
"I'm sorry, (Y/N)-chin." he mumbled, biting the inside of his cheek to stop the tears from falling.
"...I don't think I want to accept your apology." she answered, "Start talking, Mikey."
He huffed, leaning a little just to see her features illuminated by the moon.
"You really want to know, (Y/N)-chin?" he asked.
Little beads of tears running down her cheeks were more than enough answer for him.
"I was never meant to stay here longer than a few months, (Y/N)-chin." he started, placing his hand in front of her field of vision.
She caught a glimpse of it as more tears fell, seeing as it slowly seemed to fade away. The fingertips were slowly turning transparent.
He withdrew his hand back, hoping that he'd told her sooner.
"Normally, it'd be just one or two months, depending on whether I'd like the place or not. Well... I really like this place, and it had been a few years since I last felt like this. Felt like I don't want to leave."
His eyes turned hazy as he glanced at her, his hands propped to dangle on the carriage.
"Why are you telling me this now?" she sniffed, wiping her face.
He stayed silent, only the obscure sounds of the night echoing throughout. He spotted a familiar person standing near a random stall as he quickly thought of something to cheer her up.
"Look (Y/N)-chin, isn't that your crush?" he asked cheekily, hoping to divert her attention to some other thing.
"YOU'VE CHANGED MY POINT OF VIEW, DAMMIT!"
He flinched at her tone, glancing at her for a brief moment before turning to look at the moon again. Tears welled up on the corners of his eyes as he fought them back from falling.
"You... You made me love you without me noticing... If only you'd... If only you told me that you'd stay here for a short while, I wouldn't be feeling like this right now."
"I'm sorry (Y/N)-chin..."
He stayed silent, contemplating his choices.
He certainly don't want to go. Not when he'd finally gotten happy again.
He just rubbed her back instead, him hearing her sobs and sniffles. He wiped his face with his sleeves as he tried his best to comfort her.
"...Stop crying, Mikey, you look like a cat." she grinned.
Her tear-stained cheeks mixed with her goofy grin made him look away from her as he wiped his tears, thinking of a comeback.
"You look like an angel, (Y/N)-chin!"
His grin made her heat flutter, though it'd be the last time she'd feel like it.
They stayed in a comfortable silence for a while, both wanting to make the moment last as long as they can.
"I made up my mind, (Y/N)-chin. I wanna stay here." Mikey spoke, his voice determined.
She looked at him, her (e/c) eyes staring right into his inky black ones. She cupped his face with both hands, admiring such perfect features.
"Such a perfect thing you are, Mikey." she whispered.
He smiled at her, holding her hands with his own.
"That means I'll be staying here, right?" he asked, eyes twinkling.
"...You can't. You shouldn't."
His gaze fell for a moment as he lowered his hands, placing it right between them.
"But I want to! You see I don't mind waiting for you everyday just so I can see you, (Y/N)-chin! I don't mind being turned into nothing, if it means I'll get to see you before I go..."
He hugged her as they both enjoyed the silence for a moment, both of them avoiding to reminisce the times they had together.
Even if the times were short.
"Mikey, I'd rather die in this dream and be with you if I can. You know that, right?" she asked, preparing for a mental breakdown later.
"(Y/N)-chin, you need to wake up now... I promise, when you get back, we could probably say our goodbyes to each other and then I'll come find you again." he grinned, pulling away form the hug.
"Why not now?" she asked, sighing.
The ferris wheel moved once again, slowly.
"No. You have responsibilities right? You shouldn't ignore that just because of me..."
"Well, might as well get late than to leave without saying goodbye, right?" she chuckled lightheartedly.
He was about to protest when the ferris wheel turned to a halt, signalling that the ride came to an end.
Both of them got out of the carriage, the male first and then offering his hand for her to hold. They were even joking and laughing about it, and they did so until they eventually reached the playground, the place where they first met.
The atmosphere was as casual as it could get.
They looked at each other for a little while, thinking of words to say. Both observed one another, half-hearted smiles being exchanged.
"Well, I guess this is goodbye, huh..?" she mumbled, holding one of his hands. "Are you sure it's here?" she joked.
He looked around, slightly squeezing her hand, "Yep. I'm sure."
He faced her as he opened his other hand, a silver necklace being presented. It had a dorayaki pendant, making her giggle a bit at his actions.
"Let me put this on you, (Y/N)-chin!" he proposed, smiling cheekily.
"Sure."
She stayed still as he put the necklace around her neck, something he's never done before.
"There, all done." he muttered. He looked at her for a moment, admiring her features.
"It looks good on you, (Y/N)-chin." he complimented.
"Thanks."
"..."
He slowly leaned a bit, his index finger lifting up her chin. He stared at her eyes deeply, wanting her to know how much he loved her.
Even though it only has been a couple of months together.
And that night at the playground, Mikey gave (Y/N) her first kiss, right at the place where they first met.
He pulled away not long after, now keeping a short distance from her. She didn't say anything, her cheeks flushed as she looked at his fleeting figure, disappearing slowly through a vast darkness.
"There's so many dreams out here, (Y/N)-chin, but yours is my favorite. I promise I'll find you again and till then, don't take the necklace off, okay?"
"Until we meet again, (Y/N)-chin!" he smiled, waving at her while tears gathered at the corners of his eyes, his cheeks red.
She inhaled and gathered her courage before yelling loudly,
"I LOVE YOU, MIKEY!"
He grinned at her, tears now spilling from his eyes.
"I LOVE YOU TOO, (Y/N)-CHIN!"
...
She woke up the next morning, her hands immediately darting to her eyes.
She had unknowingly cried that night and as she remembered, she stayed very still, letting the memories of him linger around her mind. She remembered the necklace her gave her and as she got up to sit and feel around her neck, she smiled a bittersweet smile.
It's still there.
Somehow, that gave her hope that maybe he'll come find her again after all. That dorayaki boy she met at her dreams who made her fall in love with him without her noticing.
Dorayaki dreams.
...It kinda ended well...
