Draken looked at you as you sprawled on the floor, facing up and looking at the ceiling.

"Why the heck are you laying down on the floor (Y/N)?" he asked, towering beside you.

He covered most of the light in the room as you met his gaze, frowning.

"I'm laying down on the floor... Cause I'm not the one you're looking for."

You grinned after that little pick-up line, the male only looking at you with an unamused expression. You sighed as you looked away from him, finding another interesting spot in the ceiling for you to look at.

You heard him huff as he crouched down beside you, poking your cheek in an attempt to get your attention.

"Mikey got worried when you didn't show up for the meeting yesterday..." he stated as he sat beside you, looking to where your gaze landed on.

He wondered why you didn't show up when normally, you'd be the first one to go to the shrine and greet everybody.

"I was just too tired yesterday." you replied as he nodded, glancing at you for a brief second.

"I figured as much... You looked like you didn't even get to sleep properly too. What time do you go back home these days?" he asked, not sounding like he's interested at all.

Well, that's just how he is.

"About one to two in the evening. Why?" you answered, sitting up and walking to get yourself something to drink.

"Why so late?"

He followed you to your kitchen as he noticed some pieces of paper on random locations.

"School activities and all that boring shit. Final's coming next week, and thankfully the library is open during late hours, so yeah." you explained while waving your hands around, Draken nodding as you spoke.

He remembered how Mikey didn't even look like he got anything to worry about. But then again, it was Mikey and he's kind of complicated.

"How was school?" he asked again, trying to make some small talk.

He wanted to know if you're still doing fine and if you're not, then it wasn't a bad idea to help you out.

"Still standing on its foundation..." you sarcastically answered.

He internally facepalmed, sighing at the fact that you don't seem like you wanted to talk. So instead, he just stayed silent.

You looked at him as you walked to the door, him standing there already while looking out of the window.

"Why are you here anyway?" you asked as you opened the door, him holding it for you before going out himself.

He didn't answer as he also didn't know what he was there, or why it seemed like he was worried about you.

"Where are you going?" he asked as he saw you locking your door, waving the keys around before stuffing them in your pocket.

The fact that he didn't even bother to answer your question made you feel a little dejected, although it was understandable since he liked Emma already.

And maybe he's just there due to Mikey's orders.

"Going out to get food. I had a headache earlier so I kinda forgot to eat." you grinned.

He froze for a split-second before catching up with you, yet another frown present in his face.

"You could've called me to bring you something to eat you know." he murmured as he followed you.

"It would be a shame to bother you." you waved off as you turned around a corner, him following suit.

He wasn't about to leave you alone now, especially since you sounded so down.

"You're never a bother to me..." he trailed off, his hands on his pockets as he looked around. "Just call me when you need anything."

You giggled at his words, finding it somewhat funny that he sounded so sentimental as he spoke.

"Yeah, sure." you responded as you looked at the people passing by.

It seemed like a busy day today.

"Hey, what am I to you?" you questioned him out of the blue, not even bothering to stop as you just looked over your shoulders.

He looked like usual, no expression on his rather fine features.

Of course he wouldn't answerβ€”

"A kid I need to take care of." he muttered as he looked at you, your cheeks heating up a bit although you looked away so as to cover it.

He might've said something other than that, but that's what came to his mind once you asked him your question.

But even so, it sounded fair enough. At least he didn't say something about you being the only female in the gang.

Hehe.

"So I'm just a kid now?" you joked, the smell of different food wafting in the air.

"Basically."

His response made you want to punch the heck out of him but you stopped yourself as it wasn't worth it.

You stopped in front of a food stall, looking at the different kinds of food while he stood on the side, about to tell to you eat properly when an idea came to his mind.

"Get anything you want. I'll pay." he mumbled as other customers glanced at the both of you, silently adoring the fact that he behaved like your boyfriend.

But of course you weren't just gonna give them that impression.

"Sure Onii-san." you spoke loudly, other people avoiding your gaze as you smiled smugly.

Draken just rolled his eyes as he folded his arms to his chest.

...

Both of you sat at a random bench while eating some snacks, something that Draken wouldn't normally approve of as a normal meal but today was an exception.

He wanted to make it up to you when he didn't even do anything wrong.

"Why'd you call me Onii-san back there?" he asked as he looked at you, noticing how you behaved like a little kid.

You gulped down the snack you had in your mouth before answering, "I don't know, it just felt weird when the others were like 'they look cute together'."

You even tried to mimic their voices but you ended up failing miserably.

Draken just chuckled as he looked somewhere, leaning a bit on the bench while wondering why you even payed attention to what they said back there.

"What about you?" you asked as he arched an eyebrow. "I mean, why didn't you say something when I called you onii-san back there?"

You wiped your lips with a tissue as you looked at him, waiting for his response.

"Same way, maybe?" he answered.

You grinned, looking at him with amusement as he arched an eyebrow at you yet again.

Although you felt a little dejected too.

"Heh, you sounded just like me." you grinned again as he shaked his head, looking away.

He was in the middle of his thoughts as he suddenly remembered something, internally scolding himself for not remembering sooner.

"Oh, and Mikey told me to make sure you attend tonight's meeting..." he spoke as he looked at you.

You only nodded as you gladly munched the snack in your hands.

"And (Y/N), I also want to see you there tonight." he added as he got up, your face heating up again as you watched him walk away.

"Yeah, sure."

You looked at his direction, shaking your head as you let out a chuckle.

'...Idiot.'
